    Not logged onto cqn for a couple of weeks and thought I’d check out the post match vibe. Stumbled right into Neg’s post as and thought I’d walked into nurse Rachid’s morning after party.

     

     

    Now, before you start on my case for insinuating you’re mentally ill Neg, let me just say, Neg, you’re beyond ill, you are a fuckin loony toon. But, I do like your style, I really do.

     

     

    In other news, Elvis is raised from the grave by Belgian monks with trappiest beers and duvel. Pog probably had a hand in it too.

    Prophetic warning from Paul67 proved on the money as Sudova were the latest since mighty Partick to show up Celtic’s defensive fraility. A simple cross into the box ( again) didn’t raise a response and Sudova opened the sieve without even having to jump.

     

     

    Celtic missed chances galore, but looked blunt from start to finish as BR’s slump continues with the off form and the downright unreliable filtering Celtic’s hectic season opening.

    Disagree on KT .. if he was playing in any other league, he would already be recognized as one of the best left backs. Playing in Scotland is holding him back

    Watched Andy Robertson recently, and he has improved immeasurably … a really good player now … but he isn’t in KT’s class, but he has improved so much …. so imagine how good KT would be if he was playing with and against top players regularly …… A top 5 leftback in the world I think …

    Very poor tonight . Really starting to get worried . Mick in Toronto , hit the nail on the head , we are starting to look like a Ronny team again . The goal we lost was just as I feared , a high punt to our back post , we better get used to it .especially next Sunday , the scouser has bought big boys .with another yesterday . Tonight as I said was very poor , again some of the guys who have big reputations with us , failed to show . In my opinion it happens way to often . The club is in a bad place at the moment , I fear for Brendan Rodgers ,who looks absolutely scunnered , and I won’t really be surprised if he goes . To think two seasons ago we were invincible, playing fantastic football , scoring barrowloads of goals , to watching performances like tonight’s . We will cuff that team next week , but improvement is needed , and if we have the inclination, and the time to make the buys we very much need , it will have to be quality , ready to hit the ground running , no more sub standard projects , we have shown to much loyalty to some players not worthy of pulling on the jersey

    Neustadt-Braw, how ye bruv? Had a wee walk round Forfar loch a while back and left some flowers at the memorial of the Forfar witches, or as it would be called today the grave of 18 women who were brutally murdered by an evil uneducated protestant state. Been up here 31 years and only found out about this “secret” recently.

    Bada Bing, dont know what to make of that. He looks under pressure, unhappy and hacked off with his lot. Fucking shit state of affairs if you ask me, but who’s asking me……

     

     

    I think we’re about to lose our best manager in almost a generation because of penny pinching bullshit that could easily have been sorted out by some good mediation and a pragmatic approach to on and off park activities.

     

     

    If BR leaves because of rifts / differences / call it what you will with our board, who will our next manager be? What manager of the quality we expect, i.e. of the level of Brendan Rodgers would touch us with a shitty stick.

     

     

    Sit down, take stock and sort it out ya mad fenian Celts.

    Personally I think KT has fallen into the ‘stats’ trap. When he first burst onto the scene he had no fear, he took players on and had the pace and skill to make them look silly He had nothing to lose as he had no stats to compare with. FF a couple of years those stats have built up. Quite often now you will see him check his run and pass back to the easy option behind or beside him

     

    Players read stats on themselves too you know.

    There are rules for some, then there are rules for the others.

     

    Being a Celt often means, being one of the others, I know so well.

     

    Anywye.

     

    The PLC plan was, get Brendan in and he’ll get us out of having to deal with the same club issue, job done.

     

    Now, the question is, was Brendan aware of this PLC plan ?

     

    If he was aware, then Brendan is as guilty as the PLC in carrying out a deceit of the Celtic supporters.

     

    If Brendan wasn’t aware of this deceit, then he too has been deceived by the PLC board.

     

    So, if Brendan wasn’t aware of the deceit, then he can expect to be flung under a bus any time soon.

     

    If Brendan is part of the deceit, he might well be playing along with the PLC just now until the transfer window closes, so that the PLC don’t have to spend any money, the CL money this season was merely collateral damage that the PLC can wear, just so long as the main purpose of Brendan has been served, getting the PLC out of having to deal with the same club issue, that is the “real” reason that Brendan was at Celtic Park in the first place, whether he knows that is another question.

     

    Wonder what NFL thinks ?

     

    Hmmmmmmm.

    One positive I take from last night is the post-match interview from BR.

     

     

    He’s beelin’. I don’t think he’s the type of guy who accepts being let down by others as just one of those things. I think he is of the “don’t get mad,get even” school of thought. A few players and maybe not just them are about to find out just how much,I think.

     

     

    Anyway,just my opinion on the BR interview. He’s done quite a few lately.
