I see a justification for yesterday’s vote has been issued. The chairman of one club spoke to several of my contacts in the media with a completely different version, using both the F word and the C word.
Apparently he believes several SPL clubs are being led by the C word – Celtic. Or to be more precise, “F***ing Celtic”, a name reserved for use by a specific demographic. All off the record, of course, but incredibly indiscrete, betraying his world view.
If that’s how you feel, man up and say so publicly. Tell us who you think is really bringing Scottish football to its knees, I am sure everyone will agree this is a time for frankness.

Gilmour today on suggestions he wants Sevco fast-tracked:
“It’s ridiculous, this is a club that voted Rangers into Division Three.”
But in July last year – when the SFL actually voted Sevco into Div 3 rather than Div 1 – he stated:
“This is horrific news for St Mirren Football Club. The consequences are terrible -catastrophic even … I just hope they realise the damage they have done to Scottish football.”

I hope the club are working on this, and I don’t mean making some meaningless statement, I mean talking to the Chairmen, Board members of other clubs and reminding them who the only Cash Cow in Scottish football really is now.
I’ve never thought boycotts a good idea, and I don’t go to away games, so I’m not going to call for one, but think about it, do you want to financially support a club whose Chairman refers to our club as F…… Celtic?
Does Gilmour have a day job?
Supporters of all Clubs can pick and choose which away games they attend.
Mr Gilmour may find that along with the many empty seats in the home end at New Sevco Park there will be even more at the away side.
Will any non attendance affect the away Club? In terms of vocal support most certainly, Mr Gilmour has made much of the fact he listened to his Clubs fans, lets see if those same fans will fill the financial void that will be left.
Best of luck to Partick Thistle tonight, a victory assures them of promotion thereby removing the likelihood of Morton ground sharing with Mr Gilmours Club, another revenue stream gone. Finally I hope Mr Gilmour got cash from Mr Green for that Club tie he wore last week, a cheque may have been risky.

Growing up as a boy, I never in my wildest dreams thought there would life without RFC(IL). The early 90’s were really hard and I thought I’d never see a successful Celtic team again.
Fast forward to 2013 and RFC(IL) are no more! And now we have a Tribute Act, aka Sevco, pretending to be the same thing (hilarious).
We all know that the Tribute Act act will never reach similar strengths of RFC(IL). And the Zombies know this too.

As someone who does go to the away games there’s a big part of me that wants to go to new St Mirren Park and tell Gilmour exactly what I think of him.
However, I fully understand your point and genuinely appreciate the manner in which it was made.
Sevco are heading for destruction. No matter how hard the MSM try, sevco are dropping off the senior football map. They stopped qualifying for ‘trigger’s broom’ status when they were liquidated. Sevco, the zombies playing in the dead club’s shroud at the mausoleum, are burning money with no income. Shareholders are cashing in at a loss, why? As yet no ‘independent’ agents have been appointed to the sevco inquiry into the sevco chief executive, why is there no urgency? Are people to believe that the decision to hold an enquiry was taken on Saturday morning?
Why have the MSM not asked questions about the ‘stop work’ order at sevco’s midden? Is it because the answer is that sevco have become aware that they don’t actually own the dungheap? Are Ticketus about to assert their rights over assets owned by CW?
Apparently St Mirren have stated that ‘these alleged links with rangers are absolutely slanderous!’ Two things: rangers were liquidated; being linked with a bigoted, racist, sectarian entity would be extremely foolish, imagine being associated with a man being so stupid as to out himself as a habitual user of racist language!

The SPL should raise a motion to put St Mirren out of the SPL as they are undermining the SPL company. Of course this would fail with the 11 1 vote , so change to the 75% majority vote to push them out.

It was the SFL clubs that voted them into Division Three. After the SPL vote Green made a point of saying he believed not all of the SPL clubs really wanted “Rangers” out of the SPL. Being that Gilmour spoke personally to Green at that time (and again recently) I think we can safely assume that Gilmour really wanted them in the SPL.
