Understanding the perpetrators walked among us

485

We will never know the scale of sexual abuse in our institutions, or how far back in history they go; “historic” covers a lot of ground.  What we know for sure is the lifelong damage caused by this abuse.  Yesterday’s SFA review, apologies from clubs and the Association, and many criminal convictions, cannot repair the damage done, but it vindicates those who brought the issue to light.

It is hard to understand that the perpetrators walked among us, lived otherwise normal lives and held positions of respect.  It could be decades before we know if the problems of the past persist today, such is the imbalance of power between abuser and victim.  As a society, as families or as parents, we cannot be complacent.  Boys clubs, churches and youth organisations were targeted in the past, but if these types still walk among us, and they almost certainly do, they will look where vigilance is less.

    TBB,

Unfortunately my skepticism always forces me to question “reported cases”, this leave many avenues for questioning which can be turned into dead end streets and cul d sacs until a whistleblower reveals more in the future. I think we both know that is the way with big pharma where profits come first, last and at every juncture.

These organizations have taut us enough time never to accept their word on anything they say.

I’ve taken that a bit further and decided treat everything they say as a lie.

On balance, there are 5 chances in a million that a person might suffer anaphylaxis following vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine. Risk is correlated with previous history of anaphylaxis, including reactions to assorted vaccines, nuts, jelly fish etc.

Absent a vaccine, and given our experience over the pat year, the chance of becoming infected with Covid-19 in the medium term is in the order of 800,000 chances in a million.

The incidence of so-called Long Covid, where debilitating symptoms persist over many weeks/months, is estimated to be 10%, meaning – absent a vaccine or effective treatment – the chance of developing Long Covid is in the order of 80,000 chances in a million over the medium term.

The infection fatality rate is around 0.6%, meaning – absent a vaccine or effective treatment – the chance of dying from Covid-19 is in the order of 4,800 chances in a million in the medium term.

In short, you pays yer taxes and you takes your chances. The risk of dying from Covid-19 in the medium term is in the order of 1000 times higher than the risk of an episode of anaphylaxis following mRNA vaccination. There are inevitably risks other than anaphylaxis, but the effects are mild or the incidence too small to measure given current numbers.

If concerned, speak to your GP, who will be able to provide relevant advice and offer a non-mRNA alternative (Ox/AZ) if appropriate.

Anyroadup, enough of the hilarity, the batshit mental main stream conspirators appear to have taken over the madhouse calling any dissenters conspiracy theorists.

It appears to work as a strategy, same as it worked for the yanks when the conspirators questioned and ridiculed anyone’s mental capacity who dared associate them with a deep state or empire, both turned out as true, difference is they are now proud of it.

Same for people who questioned the dirty war in the north, turned out true but the lives of the ” conspiracy theorists” destroyed trying to expose it no longer matter.

There are tons of conspiracies that were exposed, the conspirators still sit in power because there are clowns and jokers who still think they are trustworthy.

    FrankTerry,

Seriously the guardian, ask them about Assange, go on.

Ask them about their links with MI5 and MI6 go on, FFS do a wee bit of research on your own.

I am generally sceptical of new information. I think it’s important that there are effective challenges to many assertions, and habitually refer to the research to validate or challenge assertions that hit my sceptical nerve.

Equally, I am not contrarian. I just like to satisfy myself that information is reliable.

I have no issue with anyone who is sceptical about one or more of the current Covid vaccines. I was very sceptical myself given some of the reporting of development. But having done some reading I am content to take the jag with confidence.

One of the issues I have with folk who move beyond scepticism and into campaigning or scare-mongering is the impact it might have on public health. It’s one thing to elect not to take a vaccine. That’s a personal choice. It’s quite another to encourage or scare others not to with no basis in fact or evidence to present. That undermines public health, and I have no truck with it.

I am always keen to read new evidence, so would be happy should anyone wish to post relevant links.

Ah, okay, so you’re now changing the goalposts? You said :

‘Aye two, the same two everyone use, both made up drivel.’

But that’s a lie isn’t, as i’ve shown? And here’s another link which isn’t of those ‘two that everyone uses’.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/sep/04/muslim-minority-teacher-50-tells-of-forced-sterilisation-in-xinjiang-china

So now you’re argument is changing to ‘don’t believe anything you read in the Guardian’. And I assume then then that no matter what link i put up from whatever source you will use the same argument (which let’s be honest, isn’t really argument is it? It’s the equivalent of just covering your ears and refusing to listen.)

And in this case the figures came from the governments own web-site.

Yet a few were still unwilling to accept them.

And I did say earlier that the government didnt accept that the vaccines caused these deaths .

I also said that the figures represent only a very small percentage of people jabbed.

    FrankTerry,

    Tell you what,

I’ll start you off, go to google and type in Uighur debunked, steer clear of MSM sources and that should give you a start on the road to truth, can’t say fairer than that.

I will say one thing though, why is they way the Chinese treat the people of Islam any worse then the US or UK, England is full of concentration camps where the immigrants are not allowed to speak to people outside the fence.

Great distraction that suits you and people like you who prefer to point the finger at things you can’t do anything about while ignoring things you can actually do something about.

The largest imprisonment of people based on religion since the holocaust. Aye, the Uighur’s story is a lie. At least some of them are being forced into labour to make PPE equipment for us so it isn’t all bad, eh?

    Nonsense.

Liverpool collapse continues it seems. Another nightmare from their keeper. Bitton for me tomorrow. Soro back in for Brown. Anyway, less of the fitba drivel, back to the real topics of Conspiracy Quick News today. China above, Russia below. I don’t trust either.

Bamboo, you refuse to provide a hyperlink to your data, no one else can find anything relevant, and standing no evidence being provided, I’m content to conclude that you’re either a) honestly mistaken, or b) full of it.

I know we have given Brendan Rodgers so much praise but he really does improve players. They understand what they want from him.

Harvey Barnes was a wide player a couple of years ago. Now you see him coming into the little pockets.

You want to see coaches develop players and not just buy somebody ready-made for £120m or whatever. That’s what I would want in charge of my football club.

  18. So,just a wee think,if Celtic were 4 points clear of Der Hun,at the Xmas break, and now found themselves, possibly 13 points behind, mid February, what do you think the reaction would be on here.I am using the Liverpool,Man City analogy here, obviously. The collapse of the best team in the world, since Xmas, has been nothing short of disastrous, without a Dubai trip.

I know we are caught up in Celtic but its football, these things do happen.Lenny should go,yes. We need new players in ,yes, but please never forget 2 things, the Dubai disaster, and the Huns favoured so many times throughout the season with decisions.

Sorry about carrying on a conversation re footballing matters but was Harry Haddock of Clyde not one of the first full backs to venture over the half-way line in attack?

Before him the full back rarely ventured out of his own half!

    Hail! Hail!

  20. BAMBOO,

    Apologies gratefully accepted.MY ARSE.

Where are all these dead babies, dead women?

Only thing I will apologize for,is only calling you an idiot.

Anyway a saying that my father handed down to me always kept me safe, just for you,

“Keep your rifle high, and your face mask dry”

    I think.

    Hail Hail.

  21. Well…..it’s freezing and my boiler broke down this morning. Spent 1 and a half hours on British Gas website waiting in a queue, getting thrown out when I’m next in line, logging in then getting thrown out when only one left in front of me. Finally gave up and tried phoning, get through after 20 mins to automated voice, and get to book an engineer…….for Wednesday afternoon. Lockdown and no heating or hot water for 5 days……woohoo

  22. In 14 years as a senior and international footballer, Haddock was never booked, sent off, or even admonished by a referee. Although not particularly tall he made up for that with skill and power and had the ability to throw the ball extraordinary distances.

That is a blow. Stay warm, drink wee drams regularly. We’re under a crazy ice and snow threat next week. Looked at buying a generator as the house is 125 years old and we always lose power (10 days 10 years ago!) but they cost a fortune. Bit of a dilemma here.

    Take care.
