CelticRollerCoaster and the Walk With Shay team kindly wrote this piece to update you how your efforts thus far have progressed. I read stuff like this in genuine awe of the people I call friends. Well done to each and everyone one of you.
I posted a more detailed (and excellent) read on the subject a moment ago, which you can view here. Here’s CelticRollerCoaster:
As you know by now as part of our incredible journey to date, we managed to obtain the signatories of the last 11 Club Captains of Celtic on two tops; one home and one away. Two very special and unique tops covering 53 years of unbroken history. The professionally designed and framed Away Club Captains top is First Prize in our Walkwithshay raffle along with many other amazing Celtic prizes, with the draw being made on May 25th at Celtic Park so only 20 days left. The Celtic FC Foundation will also benefit in the share of proceeds.
To date, we’ve had an incredible response from all over the country and indeed worldwide (as far as Australia and Bermuda believe it or not) with just over 2,000 tickets already out there being sold by our amazing Green Raffle Army and directly by ourselves, but don’t worry we’ve kept some back just for you!
So, if you have still not bought your tickets, to win some of the incredible prizes on offer and also help these two great causes, please get in touch now.
Remember you can buy tickets by contacting the campaign team directly via the usual methods such as email walkwithshay@yahoo.com, Facebook and Twitter @walkwithshay or from one of our many Green Raffle Army sellers.
We will also be at outside the pools office at the start of the concourse (CQN corner) from 1:30pm prior to the game on Saturday if you wish to pick up tickets from us then.
As well, as the Club Captains Away top, our other amazing prizes include:
A full list of the prizes can be obtained by emailing us at: walkwithshay@yahoo.com
Part 1 of our incredible journey to obtain these incredible pieces of Celtic History can be read here (Attach link).
Thank you for Walking With Shay.

Hail Hail the hooops
Big Jimmy
Dearest, swankiest flats at Glasgow Cross…..who do you think rents most of them:)
Spoke to more than a few of my…er, neighbours…..I didnt need to say, ‘What do you do for a living’:)
Id say at least half my neighbours,…had trouble sleeping at night:)
HH
Best wishes for the day that’s in it, Paul.
On the subject of Cup final ticket allocation.
The best way of distributing the tickets would for our support to leave all the tickets with the SFA!!
That would let all of football, including Celtic, that there is actually a line in the sand that we will not cross.
Of course, that will never happen ,as plenty of us don’t care about the integrity of the game.
As long as we can see Celtic, then we will tolerate all the cheating and scummery associated with Scottish football.
Only supporters/customers can effect the changes required.
Anyway, lets hope for another spectacle today against a stuffy Perth team, who will go to the last whistle.
CITIBHOY on 6TH MAY 2017 11:31 AM
I only saw that banner from last Saturday online……and it wasn’t anything to do with some lad from drumchapel ?
it was clearly “Colin Stein and then……………….”
I won’t repeat what was on it obviously.
HH
Best wishes P67
Happy mid-life crisis to our host.
The first guy that ran the Marathon died at the end of it. Marathon running is an evolutionary dead end. 10k is more than enough- most Marathon runners I know are hypochondriacs who never believe they are fully fit. Most drinkers I know believe they are fit.
Use Beer Goggles- not Nike Trainers!
Our Board sounding pretty spineless on the tickets fiasco.Puts me in mind of the time a mate of mine caught his wife outside the nightclub, having intercourse with some guy. When he came in and told me I said”What did you do”He said”What could I do,but I will tell you,by the look on my face, she knew I was not too pleased”.
Really,I have never heard anything so ridiculous.700 less, and all we are doing is wringing our hands.I would have been ashamed to tell this story to the Celtic fans.
Grow a pair,for Gods sake.
Citibhoy, I dropped off my daughter in Cochno Road this morning , she is doing a duke of Edinburgh award thing , and came down Peel Gen Road into the Drum .
I saw that memorial also . There were some flowers at the memorial thing also. The banners looked like they had been there a while .
I was brought up in Drumchapel , left in 1976, and it has changed so much . I was disappointed the orange lodge is still on Kinfauns Drive across from what was St Sixtus primary school now St Clare’s. I was surprisedto see a Saltire flying outside the orange lodge as I thought the identified themselves as British and British alone.
Happy Birthday Paul 67!
A memorable month & year to be celebrating your 50th!
Many happy returns Paul.
Have a great day in Paradise.
Rumours on HB that both Ralston and Johnstone are starting today
Happy Birthday Paul67.
3 points for the bhoys and a performance to match = only birthday present required

Who would win in a fight between the Calton Conservatives and the Calton Tongs?
A belter.Made me titter anyway. The Calton Tongs tried to steal my “Slicker coat”at a Saturday afternoon session at the Dennistoun Palais.
Wee buggers for that they wur.
GARY67,
I had forgotten about the deid team not having any contact with the BBC. Yes, I think we should do exactly as you say.
Happy birthday PAUL67 and many hoopy returns.
You’ve created a wee marvel here, enjoy your day mo chara.
Into them Celtic.
How can a ground be split 50/50 for some games, yet not for a cup final ?
Oh aye, one team is going for a treble and celebrating its 50th anniversary of a very special occasion
The game is live on Tele – Celtic, show this on the big screens, show it fee in our stadium, take a collection for charity, and take no more than 10k tickets for the game
Yes will be really painful for many thousands of fans – but we reallly need to make a severe stance, and highlight to th external ( Outwith Scotland) audience what our club needs to live with
FtSFA – corrupt to its core

Citibhoy, I dropped off my daughter in Cochno Road this morning , she is doing a duke of Edinburgh award thing , and came down Peel Gen Road into the Drum .
What, retiring from “Public life”.Is she no a bit young for that?.
Happy Birthday Paul.
Was mine 2 weeks ago.
It disnae hurt.
Have a great day :)
First of all, Happy Birthday Paul67….
Right, now that I’m here, who wants to slag the Calton?????
Happy Birthday to our esteemed host,Paul.I trust the Hoops will celebrate your day with a handsome victory.Ticket allocation to the Cup Final is a complete disgrace! Gary67 makes some good points but not viable due to contractual arrangements already in place.HH.
WILLIEFERNIE on 6TH MAY 2017 12:05 PM,
Contractual arrangements?
How can the huns ban the Beeb from Ibrox when they have an Exclusive Contract to provide radio coverage of Scottish Football?
Been out of circulation for a week or so. Missed most of the blog.
What was the banner at the port ?
Nephew and son. On home ticket scheme. Taken every away ticket offered including rc and Inverness.
Not offered a semi or final ticket. Its shameful. Aberdeen had over 2400 empty seats at the league cup final. They will not sell out this time.
I do like the idea of a mixed family section. This was often used in the 90s.
Get it r u y sfa
The ticket allocation is risible, has to be the most churlish, jejune effort against us yet.My self imposed ban on Hampden has never felt as justified as it does today.Time for the rest of the support to join me.

See my reply to PARKHEADCUMSALFORD @11.30am re. Sevco and the BBC.

All good mate. Looking forward to Paradise in the sun today. Two Tory cooncelors elected in the more tangerine parts of West Dunbartonshire too. Mmmmm what’s going on?? :)
How about all of our players will not be available for the England game as we have CL qualifiers in July.Is that a possibility. Can it be done.
Not that our Board would right enough.

Ralston Simunovic Boyata Tierney
McGregor Kouassi Armstrong
Johnston Griffiths Sinclair
Kouassi Time.
The ticket allocation not 50/50 for the cup final?
CT- in Shortbread’s desperation to cover their heroes, they commentate from the studio watching a TV link…
TONYDONNELLY67 on 6TH MAY 2017 12:40 PM
The ticket allocation not 50/50 for the cup final?
Aberdeen have been allocated 700 more tickets than Celtic
