I’m sure Ronny Deila has used the international break to take in as many scouting games as possible, but he’ll be keen to see his players return to Lennoxtown, fit and available for selection.
Adam Matthews spoke to Celtic media on possibly returning for Saturday’s game against Ross County. Having not played since August he’ll be well short of match fitness but his presence is badly needed. We have a must-win Europa League game against Astra next week, with the shape of the team looking so haphazard at the moment it’s crucial we get a benefit of a recognised right back. Adam needs an hour on Saturday.
Now that central mid is looking solid with Brown and Johansen, the addition of Matthews and McGregor will benefit the right, while allowing Mubarak to fit into his more natural position on the left. We might begin looking like a team. Adam also has the engine to play the football Ronny is keen on.
The only question remains how to get our Europa League-eligible strikers looking the part – and that’s not a suggestion to drop John Guidetti on Saturday!

Argh time will tell, if he does he does, if he doesn’t will you be the first to congratulate him on say a domestic treble?
Roy keane is plugging a book, I’d ignore any stuff coming from him.
As far as the Celtic job goes I’ve never had a reply to my CV.
Kevj
Agree with alot of what you say then you go on to call ronnie a tosser etc .. Catch a grip of yourself.
Your sounding like them teenagers on fbook who when celtic lose want everyone sacked and call each player something stupid.. Tosser, fanny etc
You highlight all the problems.. Never see you have an actual discussion with someone about genuine concerns… Harp on with the i told you so attitude. people like that are usually tossers. Nearly sure your better than that.
Kev Jungle – is this scam only for purchases, or does it include loans? I assume agents must get something in a loan deal too.

Two theories;
1. The Celtic income or, a large proportion of it is being ‘mismanaged’ down the foreign agent route.
2. Celtic’s income or, large prportion of it is being ‘bunged’ to the huns to keep them alive and well for next season.
The above is only – In My Humble Opinion.

I’d be sunning myself on the Caribbean with the £10 mill? – that he’s earned from Celtic over the last 9 / 10 years.

At £287.00, the cost of the cheapest season ticket at Celtic has not changed since 2013.

Hold on. I thought we were advised to avoid signing from the over-hyped and over-expensive local leagues but foreign players we sign are part of an elaborate scam.
What are we to do Kev Jungle? We need your advice here.

You sound like man of experience, eh?
My friends in Celtic,
One of the many things we have been lacking this season is leadership on the park. The return of Scott Brown helps to address that, but we need more.
If Kris Commons is to be offered a coaching role then I would expect him to be more vocal and influential on the park, which can only benefit the team.
In a sea of negativity, plants and doormats there are some positives if you choose to look for them.
HH.

Not a lot really. But I find you tedious, not so much in the daily diatribe of sameness, more in the “easy to slander” too difficult to add anything positive aspect.
That’s not important though….as a non-supporter why would you spend hours wasted on Celtic. Is there a “want” in you ?
A wee sharp, curt answer suggests there’s a wee reason. Care to share ?

3. To make sure that PL bonus are met by reducing costs and making sure no good players are signed that would have salaries that might risk PL bonus

He’s earned no where near that. We’ve had this discussion before, and I can’t really be bothered going back and adding up all the numbers again. However my hazy recollection was that including share options it was nearer £6.5-7M. Still a lot of money, no arguments there but condiderably less than £10M. His salary in the first few years was about £375k. He’s got just shy of £1M on two occasions I think.
KevJungle
as CEO? car eto give a proper answer? you’ve just been given the job, right on you go….
greenpinata-I think the Commons as a coach story is a smokescreen for not offering him anything,Bolton in January or Bosman in the summer.HH
KevJungle
That’s a shame, you don’t want to tell why you spend hours in a warped devotion to Celtic.
Each to their own I suppose.
But you need to let it go and get a life CSC
Yeez can laugh all yeez want about the huns being ‘bunged’ to keep them alive.
After all, this is the same Celtic hierarchy who – looked the other way when, the
huns were getting 3 years CL money on the back of honest-mistakes.
Oh, aye….
ST and Kev J why don’t you just come out say PL was responsible for the Legia 6-1 defeat and generally he’s not wanted at Celtic. A bit of clarity from you both would help us understand your positions

Beyond the mentoring stage I’m afraid.
But spending days and hours on something you revile, but can be avoided, can’t be right
eh ?
Its getting harder & harder to read the blog, when Kev J decides its his personal property and he is going to dominate it and f*** everyone else. I have news for you Kev we are all Celtic Supporters here, you are not unique, you are not the only one who cares. The vast majority on here are worried about the state of the Club, the quality of new recruits, the selling on of our successful “projects”, the capability of our Manager, the falling attendances.
The only thing unique about you Kev is that you make dozens of posts day after day saying the bloody same thing.
Sidney Tim……….at least Kev J varies his……… err strategy………..

The Magnificent Neganon2 illustrated what he thought should be the responsibilities of a Celtic CEO in the CQN-Magazine and, in the main….failed to get through to the concerning amount of closed minds on here.
I wouldn’t dare to attempt the same – not that I’m capable.
Btw, Neganon2 is more than capable of holding his own and, then some on here.
Dermot Desmond allows Celtic to be run the way they are for Peter Lawwell’s bonus.

I think your right, sweetener for losing out on some money if he signs on.
I love kris and lisa , seem like genuine people who really are captured by great history and what are club should stand for.. But apart from having a really good shot im getting more and more convinced kris isnt what we need in most games… Then again he is still bailing us out more than most.
