WEAH MOVE MYSTERY

TIMOTHY WEAH has left Celtic fans puzzled about his next move when his loan expires at the end of the season.

The American international forward is due to return to Paris Saint-Germain in June after arriving at the Hoops at the turn of the year.

The exciting 19-year-old has already become an instant hit with the Hoops fans and has netted five goals in 12 outings.

Weah got the team up and running in the 2-0 victory over St Mirren in Paisley last week with his headed opening goal. However, his form has attracted Premier League outfits Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

The teenager has spoken on his situation and quoted the late American rapper Nipsey Hussle as he outlined his plans for the future, as quoted in the Daily Record.

He said: “I’m about seeing long-term, seeing a vision, understanding nothing really worthwhile happens overnight, and just sticking to your script long enough to make something real happen.”

The cryptic message has left the champions’ followers a little mystified.

Last week, Weah admitted he was loving his time at Celtic and the player refused to rule out the possibility of an extended stay, as CQN reported.
