I hear what you are saying. I enjoy every away game I go to because of the optimistic atmosphere that we produce. I will be at the Dundee home game on Wednesday. I know the atmosphere will be non existant compared to tonight in Hamilton.

I think he had blown before our Danish fella scored. I recommend City Merchant, had a great meal at Valentines

  3. Still seething. The ref apart, it was an awful performance. Don’t know why Commons started. Good that Bailley was in goal, probably saved us from defeat. First half, even with 11 players, created zilch. Their equaliser came from Erik stupidly conceding a free kick 20 yards out. This then led to the corner. Beginning to despair !Thought Liverpool were lacking in skilled players who can turn a game. We were much , much worse and struggling to break away from the Sheep in a league which should have been done and dusted by Christmas. If the team is a man short, then bring on the dribbler who needs 2 men on him. No tactical nous, no urgency.

I think we had a unique set of circumstances that made the new CP roar.

  5. Erik and Kieran superb performances.

Erik is a natural born winner and I’d say just behind Kieran in wanting to be the Best Possible.

    Come on the Celts.

  7. Sorry, off topic.

Patricia Arquette is on some crappy US crime thing on the telly. She is only 1 year older then me but could be my maw.

What happened? She was a 3 tissue fantasy in True Romance

Good Evening all you good, good people… I would like to share a couple of thoughts if I may….

Firstly, I dearly love this blog. I started following it around 7 years ago and it is still my first point of contact, every morning on the phone for any ‘ white smoke from the bunker’. I got a log in a few years after when I plucked up the courage to offer my two Bob’s worth (its an unforgiving environment at times) and still don’t post that often, but I read every single day…

What I cannot get my head round, is the venom directed at those posters who are unhappy with the way our club is being run and who see what is going on in plain sight.

The club is being mismanaged, scaled down and neglected on such a scale now that I don’t even get excited at the prospect of us taking the field. I’m 38 yr’s old and started going to watch us from the age of 7, thanks to my Da and his Da (God rest him.) First gemme I went to was a 1 each draw at Boghead, think the rubber man scored… In all the intervening years, I have lived and breathed Celtic. I know guys who go to more games than me, but I can honestly say Celtic occupy far more of my waking thoughts than they should. Things like auld games, auld players, great days out, players that nearly played for the hoops, great auld away strips, major events where I couldnae make the gemme etc….

And this is why I’m so exasperated at the indifference, meek acceptance and seige mentality of some of the more active posters here. Example being, tonight. I honestly think Boyatas sending off could’ve went either way. Both interpretations are correct. That’s why they’re interpretations! That’s not why didnt win tonight.

The reason for that is so obvious, the dugs in the street know it. The manager is a pig in a poke. Clueless. So far out his depth, even he knows it. And it kills me now, not only to see people still wanting to give him more time, but they will attack fellow Celtic fans for telling the truth, to the point where they refer to them as ‘green huns….’

‘And God wept…’ I believe is the next part…..

    Anyway, sorry for the rant…..

Peace, God Bless & HH xxx

  9. Gerryfaethebrig on

Cheers Coneybhoy, I work in the town but the wee blade usually decides Maggie Mays in argyle St so I can see the Tollbooth or La Vita are her choices,,,,,,

    PYFAR…..

Apologies for another boring post…….. All kidding aside don’t mention family sometimes if you have nothing good to say why say anything ….

Fellow Celtic fans God bless, good night and take care

  10. Sid

“SFTB a soft penalty, nonsense, stone wall penalty.”

I was talking about the 2nd award and I think we have different definitions of stone wallers. The Hamilton defenders did the same as the Juve defenders did. In one match we get one pen, in all the other matches, we didnae. That makes it a rarely given award, therefore not a stone waller. But, hey, I am not complaining.

“You then say you were close to agreeing a change should have been made after Europa when you have been on here backing the manager to stay. Which is it? Or have you changed you’re mind about our manager but forgot to tell us?HH ”

Don’t think I did say that “I” was close to agreeing. I didn’t and still don’t but I recognise that if a manager change (desired by many of the support but not me) was to be made, there was a time and a place when that change should have happened. That time is not half way between transfer windows. Unless you think we need to change managers in order to win the league, and I don’t, then there is no sense in firing the bullet now.

People should read what I say not what they think I am saying :-)

Off to my kip now – still looking forward to Wednesday whether Aberdeen win or not tomorrow. HH

  11. Having seen RD’s comments after the game, then watched the sending off, then he say’s it was a sending off! Well, RD, support no more.

    Sorry, :-(((((((((

  12. Coneybhoy,

Get the Standing back, behind the goals, nae problemo. Radical (Rebellious) Thinking needed.

    Now about that Control System.

Don’t get me started on Nimrod and the EU, the Chips, Transhumanism, Israel, Damascus, Georgia, Templars, Masons, Jesuits, Icke and so much more.

One Love I can only Ever believe to be Truth.

Aye get the standing areas back now we are whacked.

Celtic never has built from a position of strength. I wonder why that is, Supernatural most likely.

  13. Big Peat of Islay on

Tonight my friends there is nothing for it but a nive mellow peaty hawf from Catholic Islay. I’ll dream of the post Deila days when we have a team again to grace the hoops.

  14. Coneybhoy

Celtic plc need to create a new set of circumstances to win the Tim fae the scheme back. The minimum wage does not allow you to buy a £29 ticket to watch Celtic. Every Celtic match anywhere is shown live in my local pub. How many pints can you buy for £29 plus £5 supporter bus fare. Robert Kelly was correct. TV will kill fitba!

  15. Good evening or looking at the clock good morning would be more appropriate.

Where do we place our faith ?

In the one dimensional management team ?

OR a structure that rewards failure ?

Forget the SFA. For a moment.

    Concentrate on what matters.

On the pitch we are one dimensional.

Off the pitch we ee accept a seat at the back of the bus.

    We are eating ourselves alive.

    Let’s grow a pair.

    Lawwell & co.

    Your an embarrassment.

  16. Big Peat of Islay on

Calton. It was a 50/50 call. RD should shut his mouth until he can learn to talk on the pitch.

  17. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Big Peat of Islay

We just want the Celtic to win and for now we are heading for 5 ! I hope God spates me for 6, 7, 8, 9 and I will pass away happy if I witness 10

Good night and God bless, I grew up us not winning much

  18. archdeaconsbench on

    Big Peat/Gerry Fae….

    It breaks ma heart…

    God bless you both x

    HH

    Btw, am a Gerry tae.

  19. Big Peat of Islay,

Nope, they watched the film just after – was on the telly – they knew it was wrong.

The Interview killed him for me.

Like the Guy but FFS, Roy Walker!!!!

  20. Caltontongues

If Ronny said that? My support for him has ended. I was at the match tonight, behind the goals. Craig Thomson is a cheating masonic dirty orange bastard in my opinion. Heyho! 5 in a row!

  21. archdeaconsbench on

    Carlton….

‘Oops there’s Chips, whats Dedryck doing, say what see, see what you say….

Awww it’s good but it’s not good enough…. Off ye go….’

    Catchphrase, presented by George Fleming…

  22. Gary,

    He did, I was shocked.

That was a SACKING performance by Thomson but, hey ho, we got two penalties and dropped two points.

    Hail Hail G.

  23. Calton Tongues

This suggests it wasn’t a foul but I think RD was annoyed that Boyota dived in at all.

Against ICT Sviachenko let ICT guy carry on whilst running behind him so perhaps RD is telling defenders better to risk losing a goal than being sent off because you have better chance of recovery with 11 players on the park.

    https://twitter.com/Auldheid/status/703382955541053443

especially with Craig Thomson all to ready to punish us for last man tackles who really must be asked why tackle on Tierney was not a red.

Separately I’d like the last man off rule dropped. If that situation arises how about ref awards a penalty regardless if in box or out?

Or how about 2 penalties but only one counts? Keep the deterrence factor but take a game changing decision out of referees hands?

  24. Delaneys Dunky,

It looked like Ronny wanted out, to me anyway.

    Its a Shame.

It will be Lenny or Roy to tackle this horrible scum that is FreeMasonic Scotland, whilst trying to Further Celtic.

  25. archdeaconsbench on

    Big Peat

We are that pish, Liam Bradys Celtic team would take us apart. Seriously. Think of the players in each side and how they would go about it….

  26. Auldheid,

    It wasn’t a foul PERIOD….

A Manager is annoyed cos one of his defenders dared to attempt a tackle?…..

Well, you might be right, check our last few tackles and and the consequences, EFE started it…..

  27. Auldheid comes in and makes me think further.

Apologies for being very Judgemental on you with the Little knowledge I have.

    Erik is quality, mos def.
