Avoiding Bobo, Crown Office, Keyser Soze

653

Well done to Tony Hamilton and his team at Celtic Charity as well as the 60,000 participants for a memorable weekend which confirmed the spirit and heritage of the club.  It was great to see Martin O’Neill and Kenny Dalglish revel in, as well as so many of our more recent heroes, some of whom are aging better than others.

Credit also to the English Premier League players who turned up in such numbers, and who spent 85 minutes avoiding Bobo Balde, after Robert Pires ‘met’ the central defender early in yesterday’s game.  For all the array of talent on show over the weekend to prize goes to Carlos Cuellar, who spent £11k at the charity auction in the Kerrydale Suite on Friday night, the biggest donor by some distance.

The wee guy from One Direction looked terrified from the moment he first flicked his hair on the touchline, and he was on the same team as Bobo.  I’m sure he’ll recover quickly from his knock and enjoy telling the story for decades to come.

Henrik still has it, his movement was unmistakable but ‘Big Greenock’ looked like he was still 22.

The report by the Scottish Law Reporter yesterday that the Crown Office are in possession of material in which prosecutors refer to possible “discussions between former Police Officers employed by a media firm connected to Rangers FC and serving Police officers” moves the debate on recent well-publicised leaks onto a new level.

Charlotte Fakes has apparently been reported to police for inappropriately obtaining material.  While this has yet to be established, the act of reporting the content as being inappropriately obtained, had the unintended consequence of confirming the authenticity of the material.  All of which puts the content of said material under scrutiny.

Post-Leveson the media have been cautious on reporting Charlotte Fakes material without clear evidence that a crime had been committed by ‘victims’ of the leak.  If the Crown Office have now acted, parts of the media still independent may be emboldened.

With Charlotte Fakes now as easy to find as Keyser Soze the direction of the police investigation will be difficult to predict.

When I was at school we wore ties and got a lunch break.

Ok that was a good few years ago… but when did they introduce tie breaks at school :),

  2. I posted info on here a few weeks ago (which was pulled) of BBC Scotland and BBC Alba contact numbers online which took you through to media house. They work hand in glove with Jack Irvine’s empire just another indicator as to the stench of hunnery at BBC Scotland.

Just read your post about Blake. So sad. These things just should not happen to young children. Where there is life there is hope. Do not give up on him. I hope everyone on here who believes in God offers up prayers for him. I would hope that those with no religious belief will remain positive for young Blake.

  18. TET, it’s a separate competition from the League.

Champions League format, two qualifying rounds, then CL and Europa Leagues.

To get the right amount of players there has to be a pre-qualifier, I’m in it.

If you loose this round it’s over, but you would still be in the league.

Basically it’s a cup competition, at this stage only those listed need pay attention.

In two weeks time it will be final qualifying to sort out Champions a league and Europa League players, the groups of 4 playing home and away, two teams will qualify for the knock outs from each group.

Every one will be kept informed of their position.

You are in the next round already.

Hahahaha….I’m scared to go to bed noo…….

  21. Ah, see what you mean, like away goals in a normal game away points will count double if the teams are drawing after two games. Game week 5&6 are the weekend coming and the weekend after.

It head to head, as in my points count directly v Weißbier X , the winner will progress to the next qualifier and will join the other 48 teams.

They will be paired of, top half v bottom half, the winners go into the Champions League and the losers into the Europa League. This will be game week 7&8.

Group stages after that, when I figure it out I’ll let everyone know.

Points scored for the weekends count as goals in the CL. If you score more pts(goals) over the two legs you win the game and go through to the final qualifying round.
