    His managerial career is mapped out for him at Celtic.

     

    Find a good player, keep him a few months and then punt him and repeat ad nauseum .

     

    A thankless task.

    Hope the board take some tough decision’s and form a proper strategy for rest of season to prepare us for the next.

     

    Coaching has to be improved either by replacing present staff or bringing in an addition with experience.

     

    Plan for more than one season regarding the actual football team.

     

    They do it for the PLC so why not the team?

     

    Insist on a proper strategy to bring youth in to first team from coaching staff.

     

    Youngsters are better value than second rate signings.

     

    We will win the league with a blend of youth and experience so now is a good time to implement change.

     

    Ledley and Sammi should be allowed to leave next window.

     

    McGregor should be recalled and get a run.

     

    Balde should get time along with our new Scandanavian striker.

     

    Fisher should also be fully integrated by seasons end.

    Once is mistake twice is stupidity …….they say!

     

     

    Nobody seems to be learning from mistakes however.

     

     

    As said before….our defence is more than good enough for this level……its the people in front of them that need looking at.

     

     

    The strategic plan will not change until until DD says so……..personally I think PL has too much say on who is bought for projects.

     

     

    NFL will be going walking nowhere tomorrow…….PL will still be there tomorrow……..the pressure will come when there are areas of empty seats. Just because the SB’s have been bought means nothing……..theres all the ancillary revenues being lost and in the world of “money talks and BS walks”……..thats where the pressure will come from.

     

     

    We will continue to win the league year on year………we will continue to be a pot 4 team in the CL………we will maybe get third place and the Europa football every second year……..just occasionally we will make the last 16 and get nailed by 3+ goals.

     

     

    It is what it is unfortunately IMO.

    I wouldn’t rule it out even though his stock is low tonight.

    Truly shocking inept performance from the management and players tonight!

     

    Yet again the wrong team and wrong tactics

     

    Matthews first game in months -what was that all about

     

    Ambrose needs to be told very clearly that he is not Beckenbauer

     

    Ledley should be told sign or clear off

     

    Boerigter should be told to find a new club

     

    Pukki and Samaras as well

     

    First half we had about 5 guys playing and the rest hiding

     

     

    Lenny needs to take a long hard look at himself and his players

     

    If that is the best they can do them maybe he should look to further his career elsewhere

     

     

    If he doesn’t then he should realise that those imposters will get him the sack sooner rather than later

    The results of other teams are relevant

     

     

    However …they have no bearing on tonight’s game …..when we are considering poor management and players lacking in application

     

     

     

    Tonight wasn’t about a big team giving a wee team a doing …..it was much worse than that

     

     

     

    We were very fortunate not to break the CL record for goals conceded in a single game

     

     

     

    I worry that last season was the exception and that this years CL performance , Utrecht and Sion are the rule

     

     

    Last year showed great improvement …..this year is desperate regression

    Big Virgil saved at least 4 other goals there.He would grace that Barca team.The tactics were patently wrong–Scott Brown should have been man on man with Neymar and hassled the crap out of him all match.Midfield played like strangers and Barca strolled through them.A collection of individuals tonight with Lustig, Van Dyke the only players to hold their head up.

     

    I’ve been saying for over two years to get a couple of Spanish midfielders in.Stacks of them over there.

     

    NL also needs to get a kick up the jacksie for the layout and performance of the team.

     

    I’m away for a couple of pints of Guinness to help me sleep later.

    I’ve had my moan and thats it.

     

    But…its great to know that however bad I feel, my club is alive and well. This is something we’ll get over. Waking up tomorrow and realising that my club dying wasnt a nightmare, well thats something I’d never get over.

    We are so far disadvantaged, financially in this company as to make it a catch weight competition. We didn’t progress this year as I had hoped, but we can only try again, nothing else for it.

     

    We can moan groan and berate the players, manager and board all night, or we can look forward to Saturday, get behind them, and read the newspaper as they wind rustles through section 111, to a spectacular 0-0.

     

     

    We’ll be back.

    Positives it was not 7, we sort of kept going , scored and we did not resort to any dirty tactics. Shook the hands of the opponents and the ref , head up and left.

     

     

    I think that 2-1 reverse Barca suffered last year , came back to haunt us.

     

     

    Looking forward to Saturday already.
