Weefra, I had a ridgeback bitch who unfortunately went to the fire last year. A very lovely animal she was too and extremely protective. The dogs are app 10 Kg heavier but the females will protect to the death. She saved my sons life when he was attacked by two german shepherds, tore them to shreds before I could even swing a boot at them.

I wasn’t aware that I “aggressively” dismissed any conspiracy theories. I might have stated a straightforward “I don’t believe” but then again, I guess in your logic, any dismissal would be seen as aggressive.
For your information, when the Moon Hoax theory first came out, I was fascinated and upon examining it closely, including watching the movie, I bought it. I believed the Americans had indeed faked the moon landings. Why? Because the conspiracy theory was all too convincing.
Then something happened. A few years later, I started examining all the points made by the Moon Hoax movie. I now had an “open mind” as you call it. I attended a seminar by Ben Goldacre. He systematically debunked every point raised by the Moon Hoax conspiracy. He did it scientifically, with demonstrations to prove his hypotheses. He answered every question raise by the authors of this particular conspiracy theory.
So I changed my mind. I believed a conspiracy theory, then changed my mind when someone explained all the answers to all the questions. Simple.
Finally, how childish does one need to be to say . . . you refused to believe in my conspiracy theories, so I’m not going to believe any of yours.
Grow up son.
