Boys in blue turn to Ibrox

661

Its seven months since the Worthington Group, who represent the interests of Craig Whyte, reported Charles Green and Imran Ahmed to the Serious Fraud Office over the ownership of Sevco 5088 Ltd.

Sevco 5088 Ltd bought and paid for irrevocable rights to buy the assets, including Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park, of Rangers Football Club PLC, in liquidation.  Those rights were subsequently assumed by a different company, Sevco Scotland Ltd, now called Rangers Football Club Ltd, who are a football club in the third tier of Scottish football.

The question is, how did Sevco Scotland acquire those rights?

When this question was raised back in April, it was reported that Rangers International PLC instructed Pinsent Masons to investigate the matter, but instead, Pinsents reported on whether Craig Whyte was involved in Sevco Scotland Ltd, a company he claimed no connection with.

The BBC, who broke the story yesterday evening, suggest Police Scotland are investigating if Craig Whyte is still involved with “Rangers”.  Although this would break the terms of Newco Rangers entry into Scottish football, it is not, of course, a crime, nor something the police would concern themselves with.

More importantly, the BBC suggest police want to speak to Charles Green, former chief executive of Rangers International PLC, about a document submitted to Companies House.  The dispute over the ownership of Sevco 5088 Ltd has played out through documents submitted to Companies House, not all of which can be legitimate.

Perhaps the biggest challenge of all to the Newco is that these matters have a history of taking a long time to resolve.  Time is not a commodity a company without bank borrowing or positive cashflow can afford.

If only any of us saw this coming………

That does indeed seem like load of mischievous bollocks right enough. If that was true why no action against Ajax for the problems their nazi scum element caused both inside and outside our stadium.

  10. Fans Against Criminalisation have agreed,

with the consent of the families, to set up a

fund which will be used to assist those Celtic

supporters who were beaten, wrongly arrested,

falsely accused and remain targets of the

Dutch judicial system. We have a pre-existing

legal defence fund which contains funds

donated to assist fans caught up in the

Offensive Behaviour Act. Those funds will be

ring-fenced and any donations between now

and the close of this appeal will be used to

assist those supporters caught up in terrible

events in Amsterdam. We do not know, at this

stage, how much will be needed, but any

amounts donated will be disbursed to the two

supporters currently in prison in Amsterdam

and those who will have to return there for

trial on 21 November. Any monies left over

after their expenses have been met will be

transferred to the FAC Legal Defence Fund

unless donors specifically ask for them to be

returned. The Fund will be administered by

FAC which is made up of the Celtic

    Supporters’ Association, the Affiliation of

    Registered Celtic Supporters Clubs, the

Association of Irish Celtic Supporters Clubs,

the Celtic Trust and the Green Brigade.

    How to Donate

    1. Pay money into the FAC account via

your bank or by electronic transfer:

Account Name: FAC Legal Defence Fund

    Sort Code: 83-21-27

    Account Number: 11119109

    2. Pay by Paypal using the Donate button

on the site of the Celtic Trust, The CSA or the

Green Brigade, however if you use this method

please make sure you make it clear that the

money is a donation and it is for the

Amsterdam Fund. This money will be

    transferred to the FAC account.

We will keep a strict accounting of all monies

donated and this will be made available to the

families and to the wider Celtic support at the

    appropriate time.

  11. Been on the road all day. Saw some spectacular bits of Scotland. Caught sunshine both ways on The Rest and Be Thankful.

    Feeling all mellow.

    Any news today?

  12. The lawyer representing Celtic fans arrested in

Amsterdam last week says they should be

    freed immediately.

Christian Visser says the police handling of

the situation, before the Champions League

clash with Ajax, was a disgrace and that

Dutch officers were the hooligans — not fans.

Dozens of supporters were taken into custody

after fighting with undercover police officers.

The incident happened in Amsterdam’s Dam

Square on Wednesday, ahead of kick-off.

Six Celtic fans will go on trial in Amsterdam at

the end of the month accused of violence

    towards police.

Two fans were remanded in custody at a bail

hearing at Amsterdam District Court on Friday,

while four others who had been held on

remand were released pending the hearing.

On Tuesday, the lawyer for two arrested Celtic

fans, Andy Vance and Padraig Mullen, spoke

    of their shock and anger.

Asked how the two men were coping, he said:

“Well, they’re feeling very scared because

they’re in a jail in another country and they’ve

never been in jail before, obviously.

“They haven’t ever been arrested by the police,

so they feel very bad about that but also they

    have bodily harm.

“Andrew has broken teeth, his lips are sore.

He’s in a pretty bad state.

“Padriag is a bit better, he’s healing but

obviously he had a bad beating as well by the

    police

He explained his clients defence, saying: “The

police thinks that Andrew threw a can at a

police officer. He denies that. He says ‘I would

never do that, I didn’t do that’ on Wednesday.

“Padriag is a bit of a different story, like many

Celtic fans, he tells us ‘I was being attacked by

people who I thought were hooligans’. Well,

these people were hooligans — but from the

    Amsterdam police.

“And then he said: ‘Somebody hit my girlfriend

and then attacked another Celtic fan. I wanted

to help this Celtic fan and try to get him off

the Celtic fan and then I was, like, beaten up

    by the police.'”

Asked if he had seen the Dam Square footage,

Mr Visser replied: “I am angry about the

footage because I’ve seen that the police

wrote down that he resisted heavily — Padriag.

Well, this is not at all the case. We can all see

    that very clearly.

“What we can see is that he’s been beaten up

by the police very badly and I think that this is

    a disgrace.

“I think the prosecutor should think of freedom

now — before the trial. It’s very uncommon to

do that but they should do that now because

if they see the footage they must be shocked

    as well.”

The Celtic Trust is collating footage and

evidence with a view to bringing its own legal

    challenge.

On Tuesday, the Dutch police and prosecutors

refused to comment before all the evidence

    had been reviewed.

The accused fans are expected to appear in a

    Dutch court on November 21.

Bada Bing, hopefully an announcement that the bulldozers are moving in to flatten the ibrox shitpit.

I saw your post about Carnoustie. You got some good sound advice and some duff advice too.

Don’t pay for a caddie, although there are some decent caddies most are just bag carriers.

There are no pubs along the eighteenth hole. There are two clubs the Carnoustie GC and the Caledonia GC (Three if you count the ladies club). The CGC does not open midweek in the winter and I doubt the Cally does either.

Another decent pub in the town to add the others mentioned is the Station. The lounge is also wummin friendly:-)

If you’re bringing Mrs BB and want to give her a real special culinary treat, Gordons in Inverkeilor is probably as good a restaurant as you’ll find anywhere north of the equator. Its about five miles north of Arbroath and a tixi from Carnoustie will set you back about £20 ish.

If your coming in January and playing Friday let me know, I’ll take you out. I could also take you out on the Burnside on the Sat providing there’s no home game clash.

Final point. Winter golf at Carnoustie is on mats. Proper greens are always used except when there is frost.

  18. Fantastic that a defence fund being organised for the Bhoys detained on a miscarriage of justice in Amsterdam.

    I will gladly donate .

I hope Celtic Football Club are actively helping those Lhads needing our suport.

As far as I can see these Bhoys have been attacked , defended themselves and now the under cover police who subjected them to the attack are fabricating stories to camouflage their reprehensible actions.
