Boys in blue turn to Ibrox

661

Its seven months since the Worthington Group, who represent the interests of Craig Whyte, reported Charles Green and Imran Ahmed to the Serious Fraud Office over the ownership of Sevco 5088 Ltd.

Sevco 5088 Ltd bought and paid for irrevocable rights to buy the assets, including Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park, of Rangers Football Club PLC, in liquidation.  Those rights were subsequently assumed by a different company, Sevco Scotland Ltd, now called Rangers Football Club Ltd, who are a football club in the third tier of Scottish football.

The question is, how did Sevco Scotland acquire those rights?

When this question was raised back in April, it was reported that Rangers International PLC instructed Pinsent Masons to investigate the matter, but instead, Pinsents reported on whether Craig Whyte was involved in Sevco Scotland Ltd, a company he claimed no connection with.

The BBC, who broke the story yesterday evening, suggest Police Scotland are investigating if Craig Whyte is still involved with “Rangers”.  Although this would break the terms of Newco Rangers entry into Scottish football, it is not, of course, a crime, nor something the police would concern themselves with.

More importantly, the BBC suggest police want to speak to Charles Green, former chief executive of Rangers International PLC, about a document submitted to Companies House.  The dispute over the ownership of Sevco 5088 Ltd has played out through documents submitted to Companies House, not all of which can be legitimate.

Perhaps the biggest challenge of all to the Newco is that these matters have a history of taking a long time to resolve.  Time is not a commodity a company without bank borrowing or positive cashflow can afford.

If only any of us saw this coming………

CSC London Road last time I read anything.”

    – Not unless you want to join the OAPs who have a monthly meeting there on the third Friday of each month. Seems the CSC forgot about that when agreeing to BNW.

I am hoping to book an alternative venue.

    You are right

I have worked in more countries than most and often say to friends that people are the same everywhere – good and bad

In holland “the bad” have a direct association with a certain deid football team that we may all remember

The dutch are generally very sociable

  6. ACGR Supporting Resolution 12 with a YES vote on

jamesgang, thanks for posting the link I asked for. That is utterly sickening. I’ve worked and lived in in the Netherlands and had no idea that the police force there were fascist bully boys. I posted a few days ago about my own experience of the Belgian police when I lived there Their brutality was a well documented fact and I got that but I never knew the dutch police were such animals. I guess all these low country police all train at the same place.

Miss ACGR is currently studying for her law masters at Lieden University and spends most of her time at the ICC in the Hague. I sincerely hope she gets to see some of these thug bastards put behind bars during her time there.

    Scunnered.

  7. Morning Timland from a warmish stressful hun free mountain valley.

Been out of the loop for the past wee while, and I see that things are progressing over on the dark side, and not before time I may add.

I read TBB’s reply to Oglach, and in the main I agree with it, but…and always there is a but, TBB forgot to mention we are in scotland, a land where the hun can do as they please.

If any info is required just look at how the sfa have conducted themselfs over the past couple of years.

I will wager now, that the government will bail them out somehow, someway if needs be, there will always be a hun presence in scottish football, mark my words.

They will never go away, sad to say, we will just have to suck it up and get on with it, again sad to say.

Had the suits of all the clubs got together, and done the right thing, they would be no more, feckin wimps so they are, but bobs rule at the end of the day.

They believed in the armagedon thing, ejits, a blind man could have seen that the game is better of without the cheating hun, but no, they just wanted the bigot pound, and who can blame them, I bet they regret it no though, winkers.

    Best of Kickin.
