Brendan’s anger at the first half performance against St Johnstone was both scathing and appropriate. The manager, though, also got it wrong. He is the one paid the big bucks to make a silk purse out of an injury crisis.

The St Mirren game where Oh scored the winner started what Burnley78 called an organic 82nd minute Celtic,Celtic chant,it was like listening to GGs updates,as the girners criticised everythin Celtic,if only that energy was used as Gary Gillespies hamstring to sing we might not need groups of Celtic fans,right now we dont sing so they are missed.The motherwell game showed we have no right to slag huns,the boos and criticism rang down the aisles.

Honestly do you not think that Brendan has allowed 4 matches to meander this season when it was obvious the intensity was not there.
I am a fan and I watched him on Sunday for a chunk of the first half standing motionless with virtually no communication to a team who were clearly struggling again.
Brendan is a really good manager. Personally I think we are starting too many games too slow though.
No one is briefed on this one. No agendas. I also know that is fact.
If Stephen Welsh is the answer to our problems, it can only be if he reinvents himself as a creative pass-finding and tigerish ball-winning, box-to-box midfielder. He’s tiday and tough but suffers from a lack of pace.
In defence he has little chance of bettering Cameron, Liam, Maik and Gus.
He is currently useful as an affordable make-weight in our home-grown contingent to ensure eufa compliance.
It would be great – but fanciful – were he to become a first-pick mainstay.

Interesting take on playing two strikers.
However respectfully I disagree. Players nowadays should not riun out of steam after 70 minutes, especially playing in the SPL.
I get the high intensity issue playing in Europe against quality defenders.
I also feel that the fans deserve a more entertaining approach. A traditional Glasgow Celtic approach if you like.
Given our superiority in resources to the rest of Scottish football I feel this is keeping faith with the fans and as importantly will bring results with a smile on our faces.
There is a place for a more pragmatic approach, even side and back passing but not against the majority of Scottish teams.
I have never seen so many tickets for sale on the Celtic timternet for our next three home games.
We need to entertain, and win.

-i dont think Brendan ‘has allowed’ anything to happen
– it is obvious B78 that we have dips in quality ,we work for what we get,anything else is entitlement,we have no right to win every game
-BR has still to bring in his own targets,he is adjusting on an old canvas,anges,and thats history now
