If I was being picky……. We looked vastly better when Liel Abada, Giorgos Giakoumakis Aaron Mooy arrived on 66 minutes. This could be because Kilmarnock were tiring, but I think this suggestion underplays the impact the change had in allowing Callum McGregor to move forward, Giorgos to disrupt his opponents and Liel to turn defenders.
Earlier in the game possession was lost carelessly, allowing Kilmarnock to get into the final third, a scenario that stopped abruptly at the triple substitution. We are playing well and winning games, but Ange has some big selection decisions to make if he is to collect 6 points in the next two games.

The strength of our bench and the ability to bring on 5 could be key to our winning the league and perhaps even making an impression in Europe .
In the recent past , we would often leave some of our big guns on the bench especially before or after a big midweek European game only to have to bring them on to avoid dropping points in domestic fixtures .
Replacing Kyogo or Jota with Gia or Abada rather than replace them with the likes of Ajeti or Klimala has made a huge difference .

The new lad who seems to have been drink driving is unfortunate. A new country and new rules in a high profile job and getting paid relatively crazy money.
It’s a very stupid thing to have done but I sure others with other clubs may not have been so exposed.
Perhaps where he comes from it is more tolerated, or the laws more flexible in how they are enforced. None of this makes it acceptable.
I just hope the line is drawn on trashing the lads career vs the way Bolli and others have been hounded for one mistake.
These are young people who are isolated and human. They make mistakes.

Nobody is trying to excuse Drink Driving but let’s wait for the facts.
Has he come from a culture where Drink Driving is not as heavily denounced as here. ?
Not too long ago our society regarded a Drink driver as ” unlucky ” to get caught. Although the crime was serious and wrong it was widely tolerated.
Our view of this offence has changed Another example of what was once acceptable years ago, not being acceptable now.

Fair play, that’s one hell of a bloody nose!
The drink driving laws in Argentina are more lax than they are here in Spain, they are pretty lax in reality, a slap on the wrist and a fine at most unless involved in an accident.
Now, going to be a bit controversial here, but I have read and heard from very good sources that the club are not 100% with how they integrate new recruits at the club, this needs sorted asap, I know that some have basically been signed and then left to fend for themselves, not going to post it on a public blog, but the info is out there and the club need to act pdq on this, they really need to employ someone who can look after the new signings and get them settled in, it’s not as if we can’t afford it, if the young fella had come from a different country with different laws, fair enough, he didn’t.
