Celtic effortlessly disposed of newly promoted Kilmarnock on their dry plastic pitch yesterday. Three goals up at halftime, the outcome was beyond doubt when Jota unleashed a spectacular effort from long range on 35 minutes, adding to the early strike from Kyogo.
If I was being picky……. We looked vastly better when Liel Abada, Giorgos Giakoumakis Aaron Mooy arrived on 66 minutes. This could be because Kilmarnock were tiring, but I think this suggestion underplays the impact the change had in allowing Callum McGregor to move forward, Giorgos to disrupt his opponents and Liel to turn defenders.
Earlier in the game possession was lost carelessly, allowing Kilmarnock to get into the final third, a scenario that stopped abruptly at the triple substitution. We are playing well and winning games, but Ange has some big selection decisions to make if he is to collect 6 points in the next two games.

Silver for Elish McColgan in the Euro Champions. What a great few weeks for her.
Jobo
Fantastic to see the fruits of your work tonight.
Thank you. It’s really interesting to see how others voted.
No surprise to see Jota, Taylor and Jenz score so highly.
Maybe the fact that we play out from the back, and Killie man marked our forward six players so tightly, led to our back 4 getting so many touches of the ball (and hence, more focus). It would’ve interesting to see how many touches each player had in the game.
Thanks again Jobo. 👏👏

Brendan.
Guys,
The competition for Celtic blogs / sites now is far greater that when CQN was originated. There are also the secret social media sites for nodding acquaintances.
All it takes to rejuvenate the site is for all posters & lurkers to stop moaning and provide some meaningful input.
It really is that simple.
HH.
I hope Ange has more luck in the group stages than Brendan had. 🍀🙏🏻
Call Me Gerry,
Got me confused now.You posted quite a long post about it being Paul’s blog, and we should just suffer the Trumpets that infest it,and we should not tell Paul what to do on his own blog.
A second post a short while later, you said, because of the lack of quality on here, you have shifted nearly fully to SC.
Can you see the problem?.

You have some meaningful input with him.Don’t be surprised if 49 quid gets mentioned.

When folk align themselves with a closed circuit of their friends, or clique, then some of them might find that its difficult to have a mind of their own on certain issues, or have a singular view that is in contrast to the collective mindset of the group.
So even though the single, individual person might have a starkly differing view to that of the, closed circuit, or clique, it can be difficult for the individual to express its views, for fear of falling foul of the clique?
Maybe?
Cliques are anti Celtic CSC

That’ll be GREENPINATA warned off then, about talking to the poster who supports, KEVJUNGLE`S whistle blowing of the £49:00 2016 oldfirm, Same Club Lie, PLC ticket scam, called out by the only poster who spotted this scam who singlehandedly called out the RANGERS prices on SEVCO tickets swindle!
And what good will that do?
Help you and the rest of the cowards who are covering up the PLC`s scam of, RANGERS prices on SEVCO tickets?
CMG @ 11.02 and before
Not a lot of football chat on CQN at the moment.
You are correct — that needs to improve but old habits die hard.
Reasoned argument is a rarity now — currently a mix of shouting down and howling at the moon.
I’m here for the football stuff and the transfer chat / gossip.
Find out what is happening at the club and hat needs to change.
I should ignore the Nats and the small stature post Marxist revolutionaries.
But their arguments are so poor / forced / slanted that sometimes I can’t help it..
Read some of the stuff on SC — interested to read all the comments that suggest CMcG needs to up his game. Now if the chat turned to a growth agenda and how the club could / should develop then at least I would know that I am not pushing water up a hill.
Slow start to the season for Liverpool but perhaps understandably so.
Very hot, dry temperatures recently can increase the pollen count.
Bad news for asthma sufferers.

================================
Sorry TB, but I’m honestly not sure why you’re confused?
I did indeed say it is Paul’s blog (I don’t think that’s debatable, is it?).
I did not say “we should just suffer the trumpets”. What I said was that we can choose to ignore those we find offensive (scroll past)…or we can choose to leave the party.
I did indeed intimate that we should not tell Paul how to run his blog. We can certainly voice our displeasure and concerns. But if he allows others (who’s posts we dislike) to continue posting, that is his prerogative. Don’t you agree?
My later post simply indicated that I too am, slowly but surely, “leaving the party” as others have done.
I am still clinging on. Hoping that Paul DOES act in removing the trolls. But I fear it is in vain.
Take care and HH

You used to have a point of view / an intellect / too much time on your hands …
Now you just seem to gurgle and nod a lot.
Not good.
Kev, you were posting some interesting items earlier, then you spoiled it by claiming that you were the only one pointing out the £49 swindle.Everybody knows what went on with the old Rangers and I’m sure most arent entirely happy with how Celtic handled it all but everyone knows what happened and they have made a choice to keep supporting Celtic, you may not agree with their decision but to refer to Celtic supporters as “Green Huns” is pretty poor.As you stated you stopped going to see Celtic when Martin O’Neill left which I reckon makes you a Celtic fan (maybe) but not a supporter.I feel you should take your frustration out on fans/ supporters of all clubs who were cheated by EBT fc and didn’t seem too bothered about trophy stripping.Enjoy your evening Kev .

Read some earlier post about professional footballers finding it difficult at first, settling into a new environment. Happens to the best of them, George Best, Ian Rush, and er Bobby Lennox.
Stan Petrov case in point, young bhoy, already an International footballer struggling to settle, learning a new not slavic language, found his own shining path, got a job on a late night burger van picked up the local lingo…..
“You want cheese wi that?”

Thanks for the invite, AT. Appreciated 👍
It’s one I’d enjoy accepting, sometime soon. Saturday’s are probably a no-no for me, due to work. It’s easier to get a Sunday off that coincides with a match day.
Unfortunately this Sunday I’ve a christening to attend, so will probably miss the game. 😢
The next home match on a Sunday would be one that I’d hope to meet up. 👍

I would like to think we have got better on the staff welfare front since the days Stan was on the van
Liason officers have been taken on Ange said as much when stressing we have signed 4 different individuals as opposed to suggesting they are all the same.(japanese)
I would like to think in Alexandro’s case is wait and see what the outcome is and support him unconditionally.
He is not the first nor last,we have had more seniors done
Player welfare is massive, they are well they play well.
It’s a massive psychological weight he is carry. Taking from Lionsroar67 said earlier focus on the body, its your job.the bevvy isn’t good for athleticism

I don’t know who, or were KEVJUNGLE is, sorry about that.
Everybody knew about it? Really?
So why 6 years of silence and continuing to finance a PLC working more for David Murray, than for justice for cheated Celtic supporters?
I don’t ecall you talking about the interesting items, that you said I was talking about, sorry abut that.
I have never clapped eyes on a post from you about the 2016 £49 ticket swindle, until this post that I’m courteously responding to, sorry about that.
I would appreciate if you could point me in the direction of the post were I’ve called Celtic fans `GREEN HUNS`, that would be great if you could, thanks.
Where did I say I stopped going to see Celtic when MON quit?
I recall KEVJUNGLE being honest and open about that, and being told he was never a Tim in the 1st place, by the very same CQNers who’ve covered up the PLC £49 ticket trick in 2016 – 2022 = total silence, and complicity.
Funny that.
KEVJUNGLE – 2016 – 2022 – I`ll continue KEVJUNGLE`S whistle blowing by constantly calling out the PLC oldfirm trick £49 (RANGERS price) for Tims to watch SEVCO vs CELTIC.
Any Tim who pays these prices £49 – £52 – £55 next? isn’t a real Tim, their a sell out.
RANGERS walk away from the greatest sporting crime thanks to kowtowing £49 CELTIC sth`s.
442 PARK THE BUS Constantly calling out and whistle blowing, just like KEVJUNGLE`S one man rebellion did because it is right and just, and its wrong to complicitly go along with PLC liars.
Integrity, and principles, like KEVJUNGLE did.
To hell with the fake investigative journalists!
GREEN BRIGADE – re £49 2016 oldfirm ticket trick = Silence.
CSA, CST, 53k sth`s, `ALL` Celtic blogs & Podcasts = Silence.
In 2016 TIMDOM became DIMDOM brought down by PLC ticket deceit.
Not paranoid enough, caught sleeping at the wheel.
Not good enough.

Another one who whines about trolls and fails to name one!
That is trolling, or a rehersal for SC.
SC can’t handle the truth.
That’s why they banned, THE LIONS ROAR, and, KEVJUNGLE.
Then the winkle guy lied about them being banned, after admitting that HE had put new filters in to block them from posting, coz he’s a liar.
That’s what liars do – lie.
They lie because their cowards.

Hello again all you young rebels.
Lovely reading about AIPPLE and MNCELT meeting up and
realising the world is indeed a very small place.
Always found when speaking to the bhoys and ghirls who
came to visit us here in Oz that apart from Celtic there was
always another common denominator that tied us together.
Might be a pub, a relation, a place we lived or whatever but
it always happens.
O.k really have to mention the disgusting comments previous
from the usual suspects, that must be a new low for CQN.
Even worse is people trying to back it up as free speech nada,
nada, get a grip, or get a life for goodness sake.

Good morning cqn from a very wet Garngad.
Big Jimmy – Those guys guys have the social skills of a fly.
My mantra is never say on a blog what you would not say face to face.
Keyboard hardmen that would never show up for a pint with a Celtic fan and talk the drivel the spout.
Imagine standing in a pub or anywhere and calling a Celtic supporter a green hun, come up to the Garngad and sit on 1 of the 2 buses and say that ya fud.
Or to degrade a person who has a disability again would never say it face to face with any Celtic supporter I know.
Keep well big man and hopefully meet up soon.

CARL Starfelt admitted his first goal celebration for Celtic was a major release after a year trying and an injury lay-off.
The centre-back scored at the second attempt from close range during Celtic’s 5-0 victory at Kilmarnock.
The Sweden international had come off the bench for his first appearance of the campaign after having a disrupted pre-season stemming from a hamstring injury he suffered on international duty in June.
Starfelt wheeled away in celebration in front of the Celtic supporters before being mobbed by team-mates.
“It was a very funny moment,” he said. “Like, you saw my celebration. I enjoyed it a lot even though it was a goal to make it 4-0. Maybe that wasn’t a normal 4-0 celebration but it was my first goal for the club so it means something extra to me.
“It was great to have all the players celebrate with me. We have been speaking about it a little bit in the locker room, so it was nice to see that all the other players also got excited.
