It can’t have been easy living with that experience. A terrible, awful day. Even worse, at that point there was little understanding or treatment for the mental trauma he and the other survivors must have suffered. Countless lives ruined.
I can’t understand how anyone would trivialise it, and I imagine that you must feel that more acutely than me.

Delighted. Well done Celtic.
PS McInnes showed a bit of class at game end, unlike his No.7 Sevco Wannabee McLean who ran straight off.
McGregor is better in any central role. He could compliment broody and he can easily be our number 10.
But, long term if he has an eye on a spot in the team he should be looking at centre mid and not number 10. We have an abundance of in the hole number 10s.

Back once again in the neat little town they call Belfast.
Thanks to ACGR for organising the wee dayoot and sorting digs. Also thanks to VP for driving all the way out to the airport to collect me and leave me into the town.
Many thanks also to the Minx for getting me a ticket for a brilliant seat. Thanks as well to John Fallon, the legend, for lending me (a complete stranger) his season ticket so a could get a pint in the Kerrydale before the game. And thanks to the PC67 fella for dropping me up to the airport on the way home.
Magical to meet everyone,or to have a wee drink or a yarn with.
Best wishes and good luck to Dena and her crew.
Celtic Park was resplendent today.
Thanks again.

Youāre not getting this outlandish āfootball teamā philosophy, are you?
āāāāā
Yep football is something Iāve just stumbled onto
On this wonderful day, some of you may remember that I lost a family member this week. On coming home from the 5IAR game my No.2 son was there with one of my grandsons. Heavily influenced as he is with a Newcastle mother and background, I was chuffed as feck when he asked “Did we win today, gramps?” Did we win the league?”
Out of the mouth of weans comes extra strength and belief!
PS EDB Sorry I didn’t make CQN Corner today – I was on taxi duty. Next week a poss?

He’s unproven. Completely unproven as a Celtic-class player.
To rate him above the captain is laughable.
He currently holds the ‘poor man’s James Forrest’ definition. Seen nothing to warrant his repeated inclusion before the likes of Christie or Allan.

Looking forward to Murray Davidson showing the same class and applauding us on to the pitch on Wednesday………………….not.
If I was Tommy Wright I’d be warning them not to shame themselves and their club the way they did last season.

Comparing McGregor and Brown?
Why?
Both have completely different skill sets.
Brown at his peak has energy and dig.
McGregor is a modern pass and move player.
Both have value.

Excathedra, McInness for moaning to the fourth official at every decision that went against his team, was very classy in shaking all our players’ hands after the game.
Lovely touch by Stefan Johansen at the end of the lap of honour, picking Jay Beatty up from his seat, and taking him onto the pitch. Also, Efe , for spending time with younger fans , sat next to our dug out , after the game.
Nir , also , for handing his top to a fan then later giving his League Champions t shirt to another young fan.
None of the above players have been at their best on the pitch this season but its good that they are willing to do some good things for our younger supporters.
Celtic Underground twitter stating Izzy’s agent been advised to find a new club for him.
I will be sad to see Izzy go , he got us and was good with our supporters also. Him standing waving to the Green Brigade ,after the game , could show he knows he is offski.

Hillsborough makes me value the great friends who I have been watching football with for more years than I care to remember through good times and bad. We are Celtic. HH
First, because it means we have an experienced EPL level manager, one good enough to have recently been considered for Man U.
And, secondly, because he has obviously looked past a couple of offers from clubs like Villa to accept the post here.
My only reservation was if he was looking to build a rep here to land a quick transfer to an EPL Premiership post. Everything else about Moyes’ abilities is all good to me. A pragmatic defense-minded manager.
I had thought of one possible problem that it was Moyes who picked Blackett for Man U but I am glad to see that it was Van Gaal

Looking forward to watching mcinnes’s dons against them next season, they’re a well-drilled intelligent team, excellent movement and a game plan that plays to their strengths and against our weaknesses. Not unlike against the diets he managed to change the flow of the game at half time
i don’t imagine for a minute that at this stage of next season this dons fans who love mcinnes will be questioning his commitment after 4 flacid performances against them
