  1. Neil will achieve the 10…

It might annoy the Huns and some Celts who don’t rate … our Neil 🍀

Fellow Celts good night n god bless, we reside in terrific Celtic times

    Sadies Bhoy

So you have decided to comment to me …

I find your comments about Neil Lennon disgusting …

Each to their own … you asked me not to respond to you … so unsure why you then respond to me … you have stated you didn’t want Neil Lennon so stick by your words … if you think I am poisonous …. read your own posts … your hatred towards Neil is sickening … but you will enjoy Neil’s triumphs … fraud

    ……………………………..

I’ve made an exception in responding to you tonight because it was difficult to tolerate the sheer inane rubbish that you constantly spout on here. I don’t and never have hated Neil Lennon so behave yourself. I am a supporter of Celtic Football Club. The team on the pitch which I never fail to get behind mean everything to me. I’m not some teeny bopper who acts like a groupie continuously professing my love for Neil. You should try and get some perspective in your life. It’s Celtic I support not Neil Lennon or Brendan Rodgers, Ronny Deila or Tony Mowbray. CELTIC.

I’ll now make a humongous effort to not reply to you again unless you overstep the mark like you’ve been doing throughout the evening. Mind how you go now.

  3. SETTING FREE THE BEARS

Tomorrow morning is the first day of my official retirement. My time is now my own, though my wife disagrees with this concept.

enjoy your retirement day.on tuesday there will be a list ha! Seriously tho enjoy yourself

and your time.looking forward to more big paragraphs 😊 keep enjoying Celtic T your a beacon.😊

ps good win for Donegal today.😊

    Hail Hail

  4. Inane rubbish ??

Maybe the truth hurts … you didn’t want Neil Lennon and as soon as Neil has one or two draws ??? You were on him … don’t give me any of your rubbish … you involved yourself in this conversation tonight for one reason … “some” Celtic fans dint want Neil as our manager “sone” Celtic fans think they “deserve” a bigger name … like it or not you are that “type” of fan … by your own admission “I didn’t want him to start with” (your words) am happy not to respond and I was sticking by what you asked me …. but as per usual a hypocrite will always be a hypocrite …’my rules until I change the rules …. typical teacher :-)

Neil Lennon will do for me 🍀

  5. Just an opinion from the sidelines…

I want the team to do well & for Neil personally to achieve what he strives for with the team.

No one, not Neil or the players, or the fans were happy with the game against them.

I can have reservations about aspects of how the club is structured in so far as it helps or hinders the team & the manager but both of these sentiments can stand side by side – for me – quite easily.

I made my position clear enough last week but I recognised – mostly because NFL told us at that media session – that the waves of criticism of the players and himself were NOT helping the team to get back to where they all wanted to be – winning & playing better.

If some want to be proven right so badly over whatever point they’ve made that they don’t mind the team losing or drawing then I’m equal parts baffled & disgusted. I admit I don’t know all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes – I just see the outcomes on the pitch and try to process that & keep sane.

Personally, I hope that the club gets re-structured onto a better footing at some point in the foreseeable future – whatever that means – but that’s just me. I cannot change how the cub is currently structured, nor how it chooses to conduct it’s football business. I think we are very lucky to be so close to two phenomenal milestones, but I also think that we might even do better with the right or better system in place. That might be mince but it’s just one supporter’s opinion.

In the meantime, I want the team & the management to find their mojo again & looking back 7 days it seems that the game at Pittodrie was the start of that process. Each game since we have looked better & our confidence has grown. In some stretches of the first half today we looked as good as I can remember & they were chasing shadows. I have some reservations about a couple of issues from today but I want to enjoy the winning feeling again & try to take a measured view. In any case what I’d be saying I’ve already said previously on here so banging on about negative stuff repeatedly can often become soul destroying or an obsession.

Life’s too short – James Bond & Bobby Charlton spring to mind.

BTW congratulations Paul on being recruited for the Foundation’s Supporters Committee.

Now on to Sparta Prague & Motherwell.

  6. Cornelius…

Mibbe it’s in part getting players back from injury…mibbe it’s in part having players back from Covid…mibbe it’s in part the Management…or mibbe it’s a mixture of all 3…;-))

    Hail Hail

As per usual posts go off in a tangent

    Maybe it is me :-)

Neil will deliver the 10 🍀

  8. TOSB

You do realise we were brand new on here till I called you out over Neil Lennon … surely Celtic favs can disagree over players and managers ?? Am a bit raw with Neil as he is one of my favourite Celtic icons … hence even when wrong I stick up for him (not that he needs it) anyhow take care … it’s going to be a long season

  9. The Lurkin Tim

    Maybe it’s the elusive X factor….

    Who really knows I suppose.

It’s like the movie version of how the Glenn Miller sound was born – circumstance & accident.

I’m sure all of those factors you mentioned helped but…

I’m just glad that the team got a good victory today against a team that celebrated a home draw against us 7 days ago like it was a cup win.

  10. Good morning CQN from a very happy clappy Garngad

Well that was a lot better yesterday. Only gripe I think we took our foot off the gas slightly and there could have been a few more goals in it for us.

But 2-0 in a semi with a good performance I suppose I’m being greedy.

SFTB – enjoy B & Q and IKEA oh sorry retirement.

Now we are off to a different country to play a European tie…WTF

Ban these stupid European games. Will it take a player to be seriously injured thru catching Covid and to be suing EUFA or a club that took them there.

That said if we are playing 😂 then bring on the Sparta.

    HH

  11. DAVID66…

Thanks for your kind words in your Post yesterday about The Rocky Bhoy.

He means the World to me, and apart from now being Diabetic and the Insulin jags, he also has to get further treatment at the Vets for Gum infection and Broken teeth in the near future.

Hes been a very brave, and well behaved Bhoy at the Vets…he just hates travelling in Taxis etc !

I have been shouting for Tam Rogic to get a start in games for a wee while now ( Like many other supporters)….When Tommy Bhoy “PLAYS”….Celtic ” PLAY”…

I think that we are playing Sparta at Celtic Park this Thursday…I better double check LOL ?

Dont do too much DIY, remember your dodgy knee and hip LOL !

I hope that you and the family are all well and staying safe.

    HH.

  12. Ive said it before and I will say it again…Big Tam Rogic sometimes reminds me of the great Zindene Zidane…with the close control, and unflustered GLIDING across the Pitch…Sheer Poetry in Motion !

I am not suggesting that Big Tommy is in the same class as ZZ…But he will do for me.

    LOL

    HH.

  13. Weebawbabbity/Wishaw Tim 6.28am

You have posted a few times about me getting “found out” …. my mantra never changes… always loved Neil Lennon, always will … and will never apologise for being a Neil Lennon fan :-)

  14. WT 6.28am

I meant to add … your wee pro-unionist posts were “interesting” from a Celtic fan …. I realise, very few, if any commented on them, but maybe “found out” is a phrase that might be closer to home :-)

  15. First time we’ve won with Laxalt in the team. Delighted.

Also, it must have gone against every instinct for Griff to head for the corner when we had the 3 on 1 break. Whether it was the right thing to do or not, the fact that HE thought what he was doing what was best for the team is heartening.

  16. Irony :-)

Fellow Celtic fans … we move onto Thursday … get our best team on the park and nobody in Scotland will get near us (I do realise Sparta aren’t Scottish :-) but you know what I mean

  17. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Morning all.

    A good weekend.

    SF managed relatively comfortably.

    Squad strength looking better.

    Neil looking brighter.

Still not a complete 90 minutes but yet more improvement.

Noticeable for me (admittedly only one game) how the presence of Rogic suits Brown.

If we can play well Thursday and win Sunday we could be on a roll.

PS – any truth in the rumour that when Tom Daley was asked

“Who is the best diving coach?”

    He replied …

    “Hhmm. Tough one.

Toss up between Gerrard and Mourinho”

    Hail hail

Happy Retirement T, look forward to many more of your eloquent posts in times to come. I know it’s an old cliché, but there is some truth in the saying “I don’t know how I found the time to work…”!

  19. SUPERSUTTON on 2ND NOVEMBER 2020 7:49 AM

There was criticism last week about not holding on to a two goal lead.

There was criticism yesterday of not taking advantage of a two goal lead to score more goals.

    I suppose that’s football.

LG running the game down would have been following instructions from the manager.

Looks like a corner has bben turned and things are starting to fall into place.

  20. All the best with wee Rocky Big Jimmy. Good luck getting him mended.

    Happy retirement SFTB.

I’ve been furloughed since March, until the beginning of December. It’s given me a real taste of retirement and I can’t wait for to enjoy it. Only 25 years to go…

    HWGT35IAR?

  21. Ernie,

I did think about that yesterday. If Griffith passes it to whoever, their keeper saves the shot and launches it up the pitch we’d have pages of complaints about poor game management.

That being said, I did have a fiver on us scoring another so I wouldn’t have grumbled too much

  22. MAJESTIC HARTSON on 2ND NOVEMBER 2020 10:00 AM

    …………..

Cheers MH…But although hes getting Insulin jags etc, his old age and poor health is a real concern for me.

Funny enough….HE would probably say the same about ME !

    LOL

    HH

  23. As another Poster said…IF the Griff had went for goal and/or tried a pass that was intercepted…thus giving the Dons mob an opportunity to attack..he would have been getting pelters on here…MAYBE he was just doing as INSTRUCTED from the bench…or maybe HE himself decided a bit of ” Game Management” ?

IF he did the very same thing against Sevco with Celtic being 2-0 up and the clock ticking down…most of us ( if not ALL ?) would be cheering him for his ” Game Management”…?

  24. We in the second half came out the traps, but we should have went for the jugular against Aberdeen,so what I was watching we let them sort of dominate, and that needs to be addressed,Big Duffy seemed to more relaxed playing aside Bitton,Wee Frimpong is a trier but sometimes he his to quick for his own good ,

  25. SFTB

Enjoy your retirement. I know it is not for everyone but I echo Friesdorfer`s comment above and am sure a bright chap like yourself will enjoy the freedom…..although, of course, Covid has ensured that this is not the best of times to end your working days.I am sure you will manage, though and CQN could be a beneficiary of your free time.

  26. Why did the Authorities postpone two Celtic games because Bolingoli broke the rules?

Without knowing the reasons behind their decision, I am currently of the view that Bolingoli was stupid and the Football Authorities were malicious.

Congratulations and welcome to the club. You’ll wonder how you ever found time to work.

  28. Hot Smoked 11.19am

Not standing up for football authorities but our game was cancelled by the Scottish government due to Bolingoli’s stupidity and also the EIGHT Aberdeen players out breaking the rules at a time when Aberdeen area then went into strict lockdown associated with the pubs the 8 players frequented .. Bolingoli shouldn’t have attended training after his wee jaunt to Spain .. am all for conspiracies against Celtic but am afraid not this time :-)

  29. By all accounts Neil Lennon was not happy with Griffiths for taking the ball into the corner. He should have played in Ajeti. There were 4minutes still to go and he lost possession anyway.

  30. SFTB

Welcome to the retirement club as others have said you will get your day in no problem and will be much better once we get through this Covid virus . HH !
