We are what we are, kings of an average league but the lack of ambition shown by the custodians of our club yet again comes back to bite us in Europe.
Eddie will be off in the summer to be replaced by one of our new guys and things will continue to go down hill.
But hey, we will have a huge bank balance….

The formation wasn’t working long before Copen scored . The second time in a season we’ve been knocked out of a European competition by a team we should be beating.

Blew that again,in a Euro game we are exoected to win to team mess up, the manager must take the share of this as Eduoard had no support all night, he couldnt trust 3 at the back so we lose the centre of midfield, SB was like a carthorse all night Rogic done nothing McGregor chasing everywhere and hardly on the ball, too much like Cluj to be a coincidence.
Any team that presses us well has a more than good chance of beating us. We’re not used to it and we can’t cope with it. Copenhagen were well organized, nothing more.

Just said the same. One thing losing to Valencia etc, but we should be beating Cluj and Copenhagen. Losing 7 goals in 2 home games to them is a brassneck.

Of al, the competitions we are in this year this is the one a regret failure in the least – as long as it makes the players stronger and more focussed on the other targets – wipe out the St Johnstone’s and Livingstons of this world – European domination can come later……….a lot later😀
Thought big Tom Rogic played well and we were the better team until Simunovic made the mistake, obviously changed the game.

my thots exactly played like an good SPL striker at best TBH
Horribly disappointing .
Feel just like I did after Dec. 29.
We recovered from that.
We`ll recover from this.

Of course nobody was amazing but Rogic was one of our better players I thought and he is gettig flak on here?
Like I said it was a ‘decent’ european season.
Could have been so much better.
But ultimately we have been undone by two very similar games at celtic park
‘cluj’ in champions league Q and tonight.
The manky mob will be busy celebrating tonight but i think we all know who will be celebrating in april/may.
Hope they keep winning co-efficiant points and dropping league ones.
Unfortunately for them the co-efficiant points will be getting very hard to win next round onwards.

Jullien was great tonight and Ajer (yellow card aside) was solid. I won’t go there with Jozo.
God knows what was going on with Brown, but our issue was with the midfield. Brown was very poor. He was poor against Cluj and poor away against Copenhagen. Maybe this is the time for him to be benched. Rogic has skill but does not have the physical attributes to be successful at this level.
We’ll need to puncture their beach balls on the 15th March by handing them a beating.
I’m not too bothered about them going further in the Europa, I don’t care.
I’m disappointed but not surprised by our capacity to self destruct in Europe.

yes you sure did ,you tripped yourself up trying to get back pitiful defending ,watch a re run of the game and see how they defended and you will get a lesson , ayer and sumo no words can explain your performance at this level.
