Reading your post, it goes without saying that you were not there.

  2. COWIEBHOY on 2ND MARCH 2016 10:46 PM

Not long in front of you, brightest moment tonight talking to you CRC and BMCUWP ‘s Sister.

    So down.

    GORDON64:

Not the worst Team but one of the worst…:(

Really really struggling to motivate myself to go back.

As has been said you can have a bad day at the Office but we are having too many.

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail!

  3. I will back our manager to the bitter end which hopefully results in us winning the league but after my experience tonight at CP I can say without contradiction that RD will not be our manager at the start of next season.

  4. Just imagine coming second in a one hore race when you are massive odds on favs.

It could and prob will happen.

Can you really see us going on a run and actually winning games, seriously ?

  5. Gary67

Fast attacking football and pressure high up the pitch. Anyone seen it?

Yes, we all have. Ufortunately not from us,but some opponents do it well, they don’t all park the bus.

Tell everyone how you want your team to play ALWAYS and some savvy old pro’s take advantage.

    Cheers

    Alex

“I don’t think a very smart person is judging only on results,” he explained. “People who succeed in life judge progress in many ways.

    Guess who

  7. Tonight wasn’t a bad day at the office folks, it was the end of Ronny’s term. Not a knee jerk reaction, just based on what i saw in front of me. I’m not even angry, just sad that it’s come to this.

    Goodnight.

  8. What chance Collins in charge until the end of the season?

We’ve done a temporary manager until season end before with Dalglish and Lennon.

  9. Too many folk putting to much emphasis on winning the League.

Just as some thought there were about doing well in Europe and domestic cups.

    When will the dime drop.

  10. As it stands just now would anyone fancy us going into the split with a 4 point lead?

There’s no doubt in my mind we’ll drop points to the top six if Ronny remains at the club. It’s not what anyone wanted but the trigger must be pulled now. It might be a gamble to change the manager at this stage of the season but for me not doing so is an even bigger punt.

WGS should be offered the job, he’d have us organised before walking in the door.

  11. SFTBs,

I’m not trying to be cheeky, I know you are 100 per cent a Tim.

What do you think will happen now? Do you think PL will act to try and save his own skin, in case this gets even worse?

  12. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Ronny Deila is a nice man and doesn’t deserve to be subjected to GTF chants. He’s chronically over promoted, but fundamentally a good man.

Not sure I could say the same about the people that appointed him scapegoat in chief.

  13. Tom Boyd is better than SuperSutton on

I’m not usually one for whataboutery, but I will take solace from anywhere tonight.

And that was in the form of listening to the wireless on the way home and hearing fans talking about wanting the manager out, the team are playing rubbish, there’s no heart, no plan B, not going back again… Oh yes and booing the team at full time.

But it wasn’t Celtic fans. It was Man City, Tottenham, Man Utd (and they won) and predominantly Arsenal fans.

So whilst if I read back I’m sure there will be an overwhelming majority of posts wanting Deila it seems that even the Professor doesn’t get it right all the time, or even enough of the time to keep fans happy.

Therefore I’ll just have to console myself with the fact I’m a Celtic supporter and there’s a game at home on the weekend.

p.s. Dundee supporting friend who was there tonight said before the game they were saving themselves for the game agains Scotland’s newest team on the weekend. Thank goodness for that. And for the Dundee player with the threepenny shaped heid.

  14. Gary67

We’d be as well handing Aberdeen the league now. John Collins should never have been allowed near CP – he possesses nothing I’d like in a Celtic manager, assisistant manager or temporary manager. He’s an arrogant imposter.

    Are you kidding?

When we’re in a hole, we should stop digging.

We should go on bended knee and beg G Strachan to carry us over the finishing line,

In fact there wouldn’t be many SPL managers who couldn’t boot baws hard enough to get that shower of wasters (Tierney excepted) over the line.

  16. Just back from the game, another shocker. I said after the Motherwell defeat that we could blow this league and Ronny should have been gone after it. It doesn’t matter what players he uses, there is something not right.

It simply can’t be allowed to continue any longer , a decision will have to be made and soon.

  17. What is the Stars on

    Glendaly

Well I would rather have Yoda doing the job of the person who actually said it…..but sure look,we are where we are.

  18. I should have pointed out I don’t want Collins as manager, temporary or otherwise, just think if PL gets twitchy that’s what he may do.

  19. I think Ronny puts all the midfielders names in a hat before the game (yes- big blooming hat) and picks our the 3 names at random. No sense or continuity in selection – Allan finally gets a start last time, plays well and is dropped. Rogic comes in from the cold. Armstrong who has been Turkish delight all season gets a start. Christie out the picture again. Forrest back in despite not extending his deal. What a clusterfcuk

  20. For what it is worth, my ratings for tonight

Gordon, 6 (no errors but poor distribution at times)

Lustig 2 (poor defensively, shocking going forward)

Sviatchenko 5 (OK defensively, gave ball away)

    Boyata 5, (as above)

Tierney 7 (easily best player, but didnt threaten going forward)

Brown 2 (passing shocking, zero creativity)

Mulgrew 3 (passing shocking, zero creativity but didnt hide, unfortunately)

Armstrong 1 (why is he playing out wide?)

Roberts 4 (good first 15 mins, didnt hide, but shouldnt be playing on right when he is left footed and against a packed centre of defence)

Rogic 3 (tried hard but almost nothing came off. Played as a 2nd CF at times so why not have a real CF on instead?)

Griffiths 3 (poor touch, caught offside, service to him was brutal mind you(

Commons 0 (no time to do anything)

Forrest 1 (rubbish on the right against a packed defence, but we knew that)

CKR 1 (all he did was give away free kicks, which i could have done)

Well done to those supporters who go along to watch that pish every week

Would expect a crowd of less than 10k for Sunday. If Morton play 10 men behind the ball – and why wouldnt they, as Celtic dont know what to do to break this down) then i give them a more than fighting chance

  21. I wanted rid of Ronny after Molde. However, before tonight I felt the risk of losing the league was to great if we changed the manager. I now believe the risk is greater if we don’t change.

Truly abysmal night. As for the fan in block 404 who shouted for Dundee to score – you shouldn’t be allowed near CP – a ridiculous shout for any Celtic fan to make

    hh

  22. BJMAC spot on, watch any decent team, the assistant is always in communication with the manager. MON and Walford, WGS and Pendry, NL and Johann. Collins sits there like an arrogance little…

  23. Go tell the Spartim on

Granted we are gash, where do you start with some of those masquerading in a Celtic shirt. I think RD will go in the summer, so bedwetters better get used to it for a short while yet.

But who in their right mind would want to play in front of the spoilt brat doppelgängers who masquerade as supporters

You all want the accolade of being part of the best supporters in the world but won’t put in the work, as others have said your behaviour is akin to the Hun

Tom Boyd is better than SuperSutton on 2nd March 2016 11:09 pm –

    With all due respect

I don’t give a monkey’s chunkey about other teams not winning.

  25. Clogher Celt,

Lawwell thinks of himself as priority 1,2 and 3.

He may do a Boyata and throw Ronny under the bus.

  26. FourGreenFields on

That was torture tonight , shocking performance from most players and management team . The club needs a total overhaul from top to bottom .

  27. Just in from the game. That was atrocious. The lack of fight, creativity, players hiding and fielding players who have indicated they may want to leave. The manager must be dismissed as we now face the real prospect of losing the league. The board have dithered to long and they must act. Things will not get better with this guy. I would go for Strachan to see us through to the end of the season. Then go for a proper time served manager either from home or abroad.

  28. It’s to late to change. What a load of pish that is. The players told you at the EK game, done just enough so that it wasn’t they’re heads on the line. We have had one decent half since. Leave this guy in place and points will be dropped all over the place.

Here Is the positive and its a massive one, we can still finish the season on a massive high, 5 in a row will feel like one of the best title wins in my history of supporting Celtic.

Appoint someone that the players will like and get a lift from, get over the line it’s all that matters.

No action is not an option.

  29. TheOriginalSadiesBhoy on

I notice that our next League game is against Thistle in 10 days time. This gives a new manager enough time, in my opinion, to come in and select and organise a team to win that match. This is the most important game. The following game, seven days later is also away to Killie whom we’ve failed to beat this season. I no longer think we can gamble on Ronny winning these two vital games. Sunday’s game versus Morton is of lesser importance.

Peter Lawell should have a contingency plan in place. He needs to make a quick appointment. He shouldn’t be gambling on cheap options at this stage as there is far too much at stage. Neil Lennon was supposed to be a temporary appointment. We were lucky he came good. Ronny Deila was supposed to be an Assistant manager, following the departure of Johan Mjalby. Sadly, Ronny has run out of time and has made too many mistakes. It is possible for a club like Celtic to still qualify for the Champions League group stages. Peter Lawell needs to appoint an experienced manager who knows how to set out a team and how to defend a two goal lead.

I don’t like to see nice guys being sacked but in football they are generally well compensated. Don’t dither,mPeter.

  30. I have supported Ronny and realise that he is trying to succeed within tight budgets, but my major disappointed with him now has been his lack of strength of character,IMO Mulgrew,Commons and Forrest should never wear a Celtic jersey again,he has obviously been bullied into playing these players and to me that shows a weakness in his character ,I may be wrong but that’s my opinion.

I still believe that he has something about him,but he needs to show some fight, maybe he should give Jimmy Mac. A more prominent role ?
