I noticed my post earlier where I suggested …”Scales injury time winner That’s how hero’s are born ” proved to be unbelievably accurate.
Yes there will be pedantic types saying that I incorrectly spelt the goalscorers name…but other than that a remarkable prediction !!!!
Orc forums read like a more extreme sweary version of ours when things aren’t going well. Despite stats like only losing one game in 60 odd etc the team shape, managerial decisions, a tendency to invite teams onto them, kamara and bassey getting it tight, itten a big haddy, Kent either a frustrating genius or a fraud. They are rattled.
If we impose our game on them then personnel on both sides don’t matter. We have a better system and we have better players.
For the first time in forever we have a transfer window deadline looming and we won’t be sitting hoping forlornly for x players in x positions. I think they might. We can focus on Wednesday fully. All the energy in the celtic camp is focused.
Like being 2-0 up and cruising at half time to losing a goal and panicking and moreboften than not throwing it away, letting a 6 point lead in the league go, puts serious pressure on a team. That’s where we are at now.
If support and team remain as one regardless of any early setbacks etc on Wednesday, they will crumble.

Parkhead pre pandemic days blew back through Celtic park today where Postecoglu’s cavaliers snatched victory from the jaws of paranoia and avoided Joe Hart having that ‘ different conversation.’
AP rotated his cast only for a quick reshuffle at half time, with never seen before early changes, Celtic made headway with Matt O’Riley’s ‘educated left foot’, again the pick of the first half despite side stepping the gaping Celtic opening goal past the post. James Forrest toiled on the Jungle side, and was rightly hooked with Liam Scales who hadn’t put a foot wrong IMO. Biton didn’t impress either and his laconic lay backs to Starfelt or CCV only added to the frustration and accumulation of yellow card SFA manna.
Ewan Anderson ( he of previous? ) slipped in and out of Parkhead nearly unnoticed but managed to lose at least five minutes of Rainjurz Bobby Tait time in the first half alone, and penetrationless Celtic went down the tunnel for a shell like listen to the calmest Celtic manager for years. We finished the game with three players having sampled inverted left back, AP will make his mind up by the time the next game is due.
Georgios Giakoumakis seems to like the ball inside the penalty box and if he doesn’t get it, his Celtic career may be shorter than expected, Abada the winger has a composure not found much in Scotland and he’s miles better than the wantaway syndrome that haunted the club last season. If you add Jota to the mix preferably from the off it should always be enough.
Celtic have never beaten Sevco under the Parkhead floodlights, I’m looking forward to it because in a short space of time it feels like we’re finding our club again.
M.O.M Carl Starfelt

i have no complaints about his recent performances
he has been very good and i dont see it as a bad thing if he is in the starting line up
i only worry if he can stay on the park for 90 minuted withoit being an idiot
as for his brain fart (😷) at ibrox – do you remember the game against united the previous weekend when he done an utterly stupid shove on a united player in the box right near the end when we were leading? could easily have been a penalty
he just has it in him
we need players that can stay on the park

I must admit, I didn’t enjoy today’s game but I surely enjoyed the result.
Would love to see Maeda on the bench for Wed. We made need options up front.
Despite scuffing a few chances I expect to see Gio lead the line flanked by Jota & Abada, with a midfield of Hatate, Riley & an other.
Most likely to be McCarthy unless we have a miraculous injury recovery which I wouldn’t rule out,
RC, from what I’ve seen, he’s a better keeper than Bain so I’d be happy with that.

I looked up at the screen. 20 minutes gone. And I thought. This ref is at it already. Two fouls on Celtic players that were worthy of a yellow. One was given only as a foul, the other wasn’t worthy of the refs whistle.
So many other instances of the ref subtly influencing the game. Taylor fouled but it was Bitton that was ultimately red carded.
Free kick Celtic outside the box, ref marches 8 paces and draws his white chalk line. The United wall stand, not behind the line, but blatantly in front of the line. Despite the Celtic players protests, the ref tells them to get on with it. Free kick hits the wall – no surprise.
From the little bit I saw on sportscene and the bits I saw live the zombies defence is very vulnerable whether you’re running at them, crossing or passing into the box., playing set pieces – in fact general football stuff.
Shipping 3 goals to a struggling Ross County before a Derby game isn’t ideal is it?

Follow the money — the bookies are shifting their position on the league.
Some have us as favourites for the first time this season.
Will they make money if we win the league?
Us vs TFOD2.1 mini league — 3 points behind / 3 games to go / 2 at home.
Us vs The SPL 10 maxi league — 1 point ahead / 12 games to go.
I wonder if the Ludge MIB will try and pull a stroke on Wednesday?
The recent scrutiny has pulled in their horns a bit but the TFOD2.1 need a lift.
Possession
Home 75% Away 25%
Shots
Home 21 Away7
Shots on Target
Home 8 Away 0
Corners
Home 14 Away 2
Fouls
Home 10 Away 7
3 things of note in the match stats
1. 75% possession – is something else
2. Zero shots on target for Utd – the defense IS performing no matter what the SMSM say
3. Utd had 25% possession and we managed to give away 50% more fouls than they did – we either have a team of cluggers or the ref is bent…..
Win the next two games and we’re four points clear before they kick off against Hearts…
