    Who knows what the post covid market willbe like, wish Laxalt’s estimates are correct but we are in a very volatile market. The price we got for Frim was mental

    We know there’s less money floating around. Listen to Pep’s interview regarding Aguero’s replacement. Nobody will be unaffected.

     

     

    In my opinion, Dembele is a better player than Eddie. I think they’re both great but Dembele is more clinical and slightly more explosive. He went for £19m.

     

     

    Eddie has a year left on a contract and can go for nothing this time next year, he’s not been on great form and as I say, fewer clubs are flush with money.

     

     

    I think Laxalt’s estimation of £25m is very generous. £8m – £10m for Christie? Nobody who’s watched him would pay that.

    I watched an interview with the Bayern Munich manager a couple of weeks ago.

     

     

    He said there was no possibility Bayern would sign a player anytime soon.

     

     

    I too think yesterday’s Celtic valuations are way off the mark.

     

     

    As you say anyone who watched them this season might have a rethink.

     

     

    I also feel we might have missed out on a bigger transfer fee for Ajer if we’d given him a run in his natural midfield position.

     

     

    I can’t imagine a converted centre half who can’t jump attracting the kind of bids being quoted on here.

     

     

    Still, we live in hope.

    You cannot get anymore concrete than that, in fact you cannot compete with the concrete as the saying goes.

    PB- correct, ability shouldn’t come in to it,what’s happened is Sevco and the SFA delayed any punishment until the league was won,and they also had a couple of injuries, 7 weeks on they get banned, then had the brassneck to appeal it,and now Tavernier won’t be fit for the SC tie, they are manoeuvring to enable Patterson to play, as I said tens of thousands of people have died,and are still dying in a pandemic, and Sevco are playing politics for a game of football? Just when you think that they can’t sink any lower….

    Not to worried about the Scottish cup draw .we have seen in our last two games v them that we are more than capable of taking care of them , but we must start putting the ball in the net , it’s a problem we have held all season . I’m More concerned with the new manager serial , Celtic always hang about with these appointments same with player purchases we dilly dally until we lose out , still having PL in situ makes me a tad nervous, we all know his record with these things . Not t that I am jumping through hoops at there choice of manager , Eddie Howe has been out a job since last August anyone worth his salt would have been snapped up . Think it was laxalt who posted a list of players who could go from the club , I don’t see rogic or bitton on the list ,two guys who have undoubted talent but don’t show it often enough Tom rogic without doubt is a super player but we can’t depend on him giving us two good games in a row . Nir bitton is The same easy oasy type who can’t give us two good games in a row either . Just my opinion mind you . There is plenty word of a clear out at paradise , i for one think it is badly needed , I hope any new players coming in are not wee and light , we have a team full of them at the moment . Big no nonsense types we need to combat the giants who are over govan way ,and the same ilk who Will undoubtedly be bought by them . That mob have had one helping hand to stop the 10 , glaring bias shown to them which went unchallenged by the rest of Scottish football , but more sickening went unchallenged from within our club , I pray that the new ceo has more bottle to call them out than the one we have presently , because if we thought the help they received from not only the mibs but from Scottish football in general was over the top ,wait till they need to win the league this coming season to enter the cl group and the riches which will end there financial woes , and place us in a sticky position .
