Agreed pal. This canter to the league is a huge problem (attracting players, crowds, prep for the champions league). Hearts turned up today to provide nothing by way of a spectacle.

I referred to the “Jock Brown moment” which was the precise point in time when Fergus McCann realised that he had to jettison his unpopular General Manager to start to get the supporters back on side. You’ll remember, the huns were running away with the league, we had just got knocked out of the Uefa Cup by FC Zurich and board members got harangued by supporters at the airport after the match.
If Dermot Desmond gets to find out how low the crowds are at CP and the level of disenchantment amongst a large swath of supporters then he may well decide that, as a first step to protect his financial interests in the PLC, he has to sacrifice Peter Lawwell. That act alone might help bring some back to CP if we did like Shaktar Karagandy.

Our attitude first half was awful. The team looked like they thought they only had to turn up to win comfortably. Commons in particular was dreadful, if there was a wrong option he would choose it. Second half was much better. Forrest made the difference and Commons started to play.
Why would any promising young footballer want to sign for Celtic when they never get a chance, even when playing what was an Under 19 team. Even worse, we only use 2 of the 3 subs available.

Who is getting a game due to injuries in his position.
What about Amido Balde, watches Samaras come on again this week whilst he sits getting skelfs on his backside.
What about Atajic who watches Stokes struggle again
What about Henderson who watches a player who probably won’t be there fro much longer get the full 90 whilst he sits on the bench
What about Watt, McGeouch, Twardzyk etc who sat and watched McCourt get game time ahead of them at the end of last season when the league was already won.
Our record of bringing through our own players is lamentable over the last 4 years, Forrest is the only one who regularly gets a game.
