    I agree if we are talking about nonentities like Keevins and Guidi bad mouthing us on a parochial radio station.

     

     

    But BT are presenting us nationally. 3 ill informed Englishmen who could not name 5 of the current Celtic side if the team sheet was not placed in front of them, snigger and do us down in front of the rest of the audience watching nationwide. The sub-text is obvious- “this is not EPL standard- we don’t need to bother about these dafties- let’s just have a laugh at them!”

     

     

    I have no problem with analysing the defensive errors. They were there and they deserve to be called out but…

     

     

    Sutton criticising Izzy for not defending the right hand post as a left back.

     

    McManaman joining in with his lead and slating Izzy for ‘trying too hard to get in front of his man” without acknowledging that he achieved exactly what he tried hard to do.

     

     

    When an EPL goalie makes a mistake, and it happens each week, do we hear generalised criticism of the standard of EPL goalkeeping?

     

     

    These guys did us down on national TV. Do they denigrate Burnley. Leicester or Stoke in the same way. Not on your telly! The story there is all the wee teams can beat all the big teams on their day in the best wee money bolstered league in the world.

     

     

    Clarke Carlisle did this on Channel 5, Burley did it with Setanta, and now Sutton is your regular go-to guy for denigrating Scottish fitba to a UK audience.

     

     

    It does mean something and it does have an effect. We should let them know- that’s how we got rid of Burley.

    3e in the Republic were showing Liverpool game, cue usual fawning over EPL YAWN, finally Celtic goals are shown and Emile Heskey could not have been more complimentary about Celtic and our fans. “You can’t quieten these fans they sing even when they are not winning.”, it was refreshing to hear something nice about us. I believe the presenter of the show was the son of one of our posters, Thomthetim??, too.

    Just back from game. A great game, not one for defence purists mind. But the boys played well and grew better and better as we progressed.

    Got to admit after 13 mins I thought holly feck and was tempted to switch the TV off. They were pretty poor goals to GIVE away, but all credit to our young team for the come back. Then the biggest blunder of the game by Gordon (who would have thought it). Still he made up for it in the dying seconds. Overall I thought we were the better team and I am looking forward to next week, 1-0 will do.

    Uch, you guys are all wrong, All Biton did was schmooze his way through the game being a good metronome, Craig made the game truly exciting, by letting the occasion get to him, then recovering and realising he should just simply play his usual game.

     

    Craig Gordon is my man of the match. Ps, wee Leigh missed a sitter.

    What was a fantastic night of entertainment somewhat spoiled by the pair of pr–ks Sutton and Macmanaman after the game.Ill informed drivel from the Scouser clown,”The worst Inter team in 40 years”.That would be the Inter that won the CL a few years ago!!!!!.As for Sutton,dont get me started on him.He had no idea why Celtic saluted the fans at the end.Celebrating as if they had won the cup !!!!!.Short memory.I remember the team Sutton played in going nuts when they beat Juve 4-3 in a meaningless game.

     

    Compare the cost of the teams,the experience of the teams.n Inter team that have scored 7 goals in their last two games,are total rubbish,according to these two clowns.

     

    Every Celtic fan would have taken any result that kept us in the game.Thats how out of touch with the fans that twat Sutton is.

    Well that was a bit of a roller coaster! I still think we can do it courtesy of JG’s goal. The two new Bhoys will only get better and it is unlikely that Craig Gordon will produce 2 howlers like that again, his saves got us to the last 32 so he can be cut plenty of slack. Izzy needs to up his game in Europe, and Johansen was not at his dynamic best. Biton developing into a class player, we need to hold onto him.

     

    Stay tight in Milan and score one more than them, simples.
