    Bad mistakes by us but cheating like that in their defence right in front of the ref makes you wonder what’s the point of football anymore..

    Don’t know why I expetcted any different, Conte was always a cheating scumbag with no skill whatsoever. Only difference between the guilty of match fixing Juventus team of before and now, is that they have moved from brown paper bags to online transfers! Like Uefa will care anyway, Juventus in the next round makes them more money than us…….!!

     

     

    Yes, a couple of players didn’t really turn up, but without all that shoving and pulling in the box, or if the referee showed some balls, (why would he when he has been paid not to anyway!), their players should have been punished more for the infringements. If thats different, the result is different, thats for sure.

    I was amazed to see Ambrose starting and said before kick-off it was a massive gamble. He should at least have been replaced at half-time. What wes Lenny thinking of?

    Been some good play from us but way to many slack passes in there as well, didn’t take our chances and Ambrose was a gamble that just didn’t work.

     

     

    Learning experience for our young team and manager. So much more that we would have dreamt of at the start of the season.

    Not a fair reflection at all. A real shame given out heroics in this competition this year. All we can do is put in a performance of pride in Turin and don’t let this turn into a massacre.

     

     

    I read before the game, Lenny’s challenge was to qualify for the quarter final. That’s bs. Lenny’s challenge is to make sure we’re back int he CL next season, the season after that and the season after that… Then we can build and look for more in this competition.

    Juventus!! A different type of professionalism to Barca but one we need to learn to combat to succeed at this level. I’ve no doubt this isn’t classed as cheating in Italy. Just good defending. Oh well the zombies are still deid.

    PFayr, I like watching him. But I can’t remember one game where I haven’t thought that his two or three bombscare moments will cost us against a better team

    I’m not basing that assessment just on tonight. I’ve never rated him as a CH due to his ‘relaxed’ approach. Ditto Vic in the same position.

     

     

    Much prefer them both in midfield.

     

     

    Still proud of Lenny + the team. They have done magnificently to get us this far.

    I said earlier that Neil was approaching a bridge too far by putting Efe in the team

     

    and so it turned out. I would never have done that and Juve were smart enough to know that Asamoah (sp) would not play under similar circumstances.

     

    We played very well, didn’t get the breaks on our chances but they certainly took theirs.

     

     

    Still very happy to be a Tim; we have done extremely well, given our resources-

    Efe was shocking, but the referee was worse. Unless you of course you count who paid him, then he did his job perfectly……!
