    PFayr,

A Disaster and so is Wanyama-in midfield despite the love in for him.

Central defence or nowhere.Passing utterly shocking and slower than a week inside.

canamalar called me a Hun a few months ago because I said the forces wouldn’t necessarily have got more kit if Rangers had paid their taxes.

And now HE is calling our manager a, “tit.”

    Oh dear…

First time tonight I believe I’ve heard the truth.

Matthews sold the golden opportunity by his rubbish play on the edge of their box

and the subsequent easy mugging and daylight robbery counter attack for an inevitable Wilson type afforded goal.

I can’t speak for bankiebhoy but I was referring to one poster.

At no point did I call anyone a ‘rocket’ I was merely mentioning that not all posters are to everyone’s liking.

I’m clearly not to yours :-)

I don’t know where all this stuff about Millie being the better and hungrier team is coming from, it didn’t look like that on my telly anyway,

  7. Evening Bhoys,

Had a bad feeling after the first 15 minutes of the game.

We would have won if we had taken one of 5/6 great chances. Killie played okay with the goalie very good. Only Big Charlie played decent.

The rest of the Bhoys did not turn up today.

Hooper has been off the boil for the last few weeks and should have been on the bench or subbed at half-time for Big Sammi. Sammi did more in 10 mins than Hooper did virtually the whole game.

To me it looked a stonewall penalty but then I am a Celtic Fan. The wee rat Collum was never gonna giive us a penalty in the last 2 mins of injury time.

Collum is a disgrace of a man.

Don’t like the Killie fans but good luck to Kenny Shields. He is a geniune person and supported Neil last season.

Collum aside we only had ourselves to blame. The team did not turn up today. Feel for Neil but Wilson should have been replaced rather than Rogne.

I don’t think Wilson is very good – end of.

Today we learned again that if our attitude is not right then we will lose the game.

I only hope the Team attitude is right for the Bigotdome next Sunday.

The Double will do nicely. The Bhoys have done great for 25/26 games. They had a bad, very bad off day but hopefully they will learn from it.

    Hail Hail.

  9. Saint Patrick Gallagher on

First time I have signed off from this hallowed site feeling dirty.

Goodnight troops, hope the team have more belief than the support :-(

  10. Despite my utter disappointment at today I refuse to let this one game chnage my opinion of the job that Neil Lennon has done over the past months.

So we can’t win the treble; and out unbeaten doemstic run has gone. Fiar enough. However, we will be competing for the rest of this season and for the years to come. Very few teams’ supporters can say that.

    That’s all!

    Jobo

ps – Venus and Jupiter are glowing tonight!

  11. Such sad news . RIP.

As for us , we missed an easy chance early on , didn’t play well or enjoy much luck, whilst our opponents did play well and had a goalie who played terrifically. Thought it was a penalty at end of game but have not seen a replay.

  12. Not read back, I’ll catch up tomorrow.

Disappointed, never despondent, we have a league to clinch, a cup to chase.

    Hope everyone can stay positive.

Well done Killie, at least they tried to play the game, might be different next Sunday.

    In Lennon we Trust.

I hope, in defeat, we can stay positive, young teams loose at times, in the long term, they grow together and will win together.

Sorrows to drown, wounds to lick, then up and at them.

  13. Lenny puts out the team he thinks will win…we might not agree but we must trust him.If he is true to form,Stokes will be dropped next week for Sammi..I dont rate Wilson, not fussed on Forrest, think hes our Simon Donnelly,1 good game 2 ok..disapears a lot..But im not the manager who has won us the league.History will judge Niel Lennon..Couldnt stand wee Gordon, but history says he won 3 in a row..

Remember that the Huns are about to go bust and in the bigger picture a defeat in the league cup final is fairly insignificant.

As many of you know I didn’t join the clamour about bigoted refs, I just reckoned that they were useless, collumhad certainly is and certainly got it wrong

  19. Today was a lesson and if we learn from it we’ll be stronger at the start of next season for losing today.

  20. I also think that today proved we don’t need the huns just some healthy competition from the other teams. From a neutral’s point of view, NOT ME, I suppose it was a good advert for the game, two teams wanting to play football with end to end incidents. We should never fear competition as it will only make us better, providing that competition is by fair means, of course.

  21. Snake Plissken on

Now some folk are saying it is rubbish that the poor man is only in hospital.

Regardless, thoughts and prayers with that family, a horrible end to what should have been a great day for the Kelly family.

  22. midfield maestro on

So the same players & management who put together one of the best unbeaten runs in football are now duds, failures, tactically nieve blah blah blah. Fast forward to next week if we beat the huns, it will be all Neil Francis this that & the next thing.

    Get a grip guys.

  23. Pmtyh, was back at the ground after the game. Hooper limped off the bus, clearly in pain, wee forrest’s ankle is in a massive stookie. No way these guys will play next week. Rest of the team looked hurting too, as they should. But, hey, it’s happened. I was at hampden in 71, Lisbon lions and kenny dalglish, humped 4-1 v thistle. I’m sure the manager will have learned things about a few players today. Terrible news about Liam kelly’s dad. That’s a tragedy, not losing a game of fitba.

  24. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

Sorry bt was a response to ht

Last september/October kis when the manager needed support and I can count on one hand the number in here who gave him that support.

So all to mice can scurry back to their holes.

BTM got far worse, with very little objection in here, so I’m no going to be too worried by a load of bandwagon passengers opinions.

Neil is not a deity, when he gets the job wrong I’m no bitting my tongue, WGS got similar off me when he did it, and I expect theres no many on here dont know how much I rated him.

There seems to be a lack of consistency on here too

  25. VP, Sammi was missed today I agree. I wanted him on from the start.

I wanted him to replace Stokes and not Hooper and earlier than our manager chose to do so.

Nevertheless, my point refers to your outrageous attack on Stokes. Uncalled for.

Hope it was heat of the moment but that is worse than the MSM do to Celtic

(and I know from your posts you are a great Celtic man.)

  26. never good to lose a cup final, but we were very poor and did not, over the course of the game, deserve a victory, killie did.

last night i wrote that we spend about 7/8 million a year on fringe players and they need to go so we can get a couple of quality players in. today proved to me that we need a pacey, power striker who knows the way to goal.

we have the makings of a very good team, but we are still short right now, we may have 40 players but we are oinly a couple of injuries/ suspensions away from dropping in quality and results.

what result does prove: clubs have more of a chance to win things, if rangers die, chances only increase. i bet killie get at least 12,000 fans at their next home games because thats what happens when teams win.

a period of success for any of hearts, hibs, aberdeen, dundee united could transform the landscape of scottish football and a more balanced share of domestic and european t.v money could see a more competitive and attractive league for all. even if rangers survive i would still take said actions as i am sure the television companies and fans would offer more money attend more games if the product was better i.e. teams outside celtic and rangers could afford better wages, players, transfer fees

Aye and we nearly beat Kilmarnock today as well

Just remember it was the mighty Sion that gave us the opportunity to pit our superstars against Atletico Madrid 9th in the Spanish league Rennes 7th in the French League and the mighty Udinese 3rd in the Italian league and by my reckoning and Uefas that’s only one of them on current league positions that are champions league contenders

And by my reckoning, A.Madrid are usually a CL side, Udinese certainly should be and Rennes are there or there abouts most seasons, hence why the arguably 2-3 CL teams. And yes we nearly did beat Killie today, they rode their luck and it was only 0-1? Get a grip

  28. twists n turns on

You know what, I’m glad Liam Kelly’s father saw him win the cup today. There will be more cups for us to win.

  29. A lot of disappointed bhoy’s out there tonight, but in my mind this is just the

start of a long and glorious journey for neil lennon and the players, neil deffo

has all the attributes to become a top manager, unlike sally , so as far as i’m concerned it’s onwards and upwards.
