    Best manager we can get is who we should be going for, not some guy whose best attribute to date is he’s a good Celtic man. By all means if he proves his worth elsewhere then he’d get considered in the future

    *and that’s how we ended up with “take it on the chin” who was perceived as being a Celtic mhan due tae inventing the huddle as opposed tae WGS.

    Looking for positives…

     

     

    We have definitely missed JF this season for experience, shape of the team, goals and assists and the fear other teams have of a defender being left one on one with him.

     

    He definitely inspired us to a 6-0 win.

     

    But where he is with his comeback and coming off on Saturday, it’s a great game for RC to leave with another winners medal and cement a move to England.

     

    If he doesn’t waste a ball and can play well in a victory then he will get a good move.

     

     

    I would show our players the highlights of the sevco game today on repeat… They are pish.

     

    Winning the SC wouldn’t make up for a crap season but it would obviously be a great trophy for us.

    I have never voted Conservative in my life – my Dad would spin in his grave if I did.

     

     

    I was a member of the Labour party for over 35 years until Commie Corbyn came along. As a member, fundraiser and campaigner, I kicked off helping Brian Wilson win in Cunninghame North in1987 – I also worked with Jim Murphy and Jackie Baillie amongst others. I was proud to work with Better Together to defeat the SNP’s referendum in 2014 – some of George Galloway’s platform speeches were electrifying – the one in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is my favourite.

     

     

    I have fought the SNP all my political life – the damage that that they are doing to Scotland now, will pale into insignificance in the unlikely event of independence.

     

     

    Our Celtic/Catholic(not everyone)/Irish family have real friends in the UK that number at least double the entire population of Scotland.

     

     

    As a Celtic supporter for 50 years, I take no lectures from those with a blinkered agenda – I am first last & always strive to be a decent human being, my affiliations must always align.

    I cant believe that you believe he wouldnt be, I am pretty sure the Corporate PLC succession planning has been moulding John to be a future Celtic Manager.

     

     

    HR Person – John sorry your football career is over, what can we do now ?

     

     

    JK – I want to be a coach, and the ultimate is to be Celtic manager in the future

     

     

    HR Person – that is a longtime off John, that is a 12-15 year development plan.

    allways respect your inputs, Brady, Barnes, Macari and Mowbray were the fails, overall though, since Jock got brought back (because the young players wanted him ? and him improving them as reserves), our appointments of celtic men have worked, I think , Ronnie and WGS being the succesfult non-affiliates, but left as Celtic men.

    St Stivs at 12.45, After the Motherwell game, there is a video of the 65 Final. Best 11 minutes I have watched of it since the day itself. Many many thanks. Made my day, my week, my year.

     

     

    *first time I’ve watched this as lots of celebrating took place that night so never saw the highlights, or mibbees I did but cannae remember.

     

     

    The next morning going intae a local paper shop and even though kilmasonic beat the calvinists, and that was a shock, tae win the League the headlines was “Billy’s Bumper” a different smsm they days.

     

     

    Incidentally the beaten finalists that day were 3rd in the League 1 point behind both 1st and 2nd with a far superior goal average which makes our achievement so much better.

     

     

    Watching wee ten thirty’s equaliser I was in the Celtic end practically in line with it, a couple of rows down were a bunch of Brucehill bhoys, as Charlie was trying tae tee the ball up, one of them shouted “hit it”, his mate who would later play for Junior Scotland said “aye and if he does just watch it go”, got that right.

    Most studied under different managers and as assistant manager didn’t get blamed for the managers tactics

     

    If your assistant manager you do what your manager says or your down the road
