Pre match the S*y “pundits” were asking how Celtic were going to cope with Bowman and Main. They knew the ref would be tolerant.
Walker was quick to point out “that’s two long clearances down the park and both won by Motherwell”…
From that point on it wasn’t mentioned again. Ajer and Boyata dominated. Main got booked. Bowman should have been, possibly a red. They threw the hammers at us, we caught them and threw them straight back in the form of Dembele who single handedly overpowered there back line.
Pundits question answered. It was a stupid question.

Watched the game in the company of my 88 year old dad and 91 year old uncle who is visiting from Australia.

Towards the end of the game my son moaned (FFS moaned) that Paddy wasn’t getting on for a farwell swansong appearance.
I told him that in 20 years time Paddy would be forgotten but today’s DOUBLE TREBLE would live on.
A guy in front turned and told my bhoy and said, “Wise words. Wise words.”
He and I are right.

STARRY PLOUGH – agreed – he’s turned into a key player for us. Great first touch, great vision, great energy and application.
I love the fact that he, Jamsie and KT have come through our youth setup. I hope our first team don’t get so far ahead that it becomes virtually impossible for our own players to break through to the first team.
Can worry about that another day, though :-)))

He’s thriving under great coaching, I would guess that Brendan being at Celtic also had a big influence on TR signing on again, he mentioned it in his interview too.
The players know they are working under a top quality coach, something special getting built at Paradise:))

What a fantastic day.
The atmosphere was electric. I haven’t watched the game back but all the Bhoys played well. The talk was of Motherwell bullying our CH’s. LOL.
Moussa Dembele owned them from what I could see. If he goes this summer, he will be remembered so very fondly. Whoever gets him will get a heck of a player. I’m hoping he stays for one more Season, I’m sure Olivier will be saying to him to do just that, Oli is Seriously quality as well. The wee man wore his Ntcham shirt yesterday.
After the game Today, I hope Brendan makes sure all the Lads have a massive party Together because after the incredibly long and hard Season they have had…….. they certainly deserve @ least a 2 week PARTEEEE.

I would have liked to see wee PR7 one last time but that’s why Brendan is the manager and I’m no.
Just watched the highlights again and Callums goal gets better with every viewing, a thunderbolt of a strike.
Quite sad that I wont be there next season as I’m having a domestically enforced gap in my SB holding until I sell up the acgr towers complex. Im really going to miss my fortnightly fix of all things Celtic, but what a wy to go out.

Brendan has controlled everything from what I can see.
He negated all the negative Press that was obviously incoming by making re-signings of the players likely to be featured in the Press in the build up.
He also played the ball long more than any other game after playing ultra possession fitba. Brendan had this game marked down as the most important one – the win at all costs.
