““But that’s not really our game – showing people respect. We’ve got to get into people’s faces and we didn’t do that first half. We did it more second-half, but by then it was too late.”
That’s what Motherwell are all about. They had two yellows in the first half btw. Fouls count for the game? Motherwell 20 Celtic 9 .
How could you be proud of supporting these kind of teams?
So glad I’m a tim.

Looking at all the Facing Book footage of the open top bus parade. It looks absolutely fabulous.

Bit fragile. Too much pop after our unprecedented achievement. Will it be generation of domination as my old friend Burnley 78 would have it or is this the peak with a fall to come soon as KevJ fears. Who knows- my money is on B78 being right BTW though I understand what Kev meant- but this achievement stands on its own irrespective of what happens next.
Off to Broony’s testimonial. It was not until his defining moment at Ibrox in February 2011 that he completely won me over but I think now he is almost always our best player. 2 years ago he looked washed up, done. Whatever Brendan said to him during their first meeting has transformed a fine player and leader into a great player and our best skipper since Cesar.
A weekend with two Celtic games. I just cannot get enough.
Just woke up, still in ma Cellic tap still pished………..loving it!

I think I’m RD’s last season Broonie was hirpled with injury for most of it.
His skills yesterday were exceptional at times. This is too often overlooked. He owns the pitch.
Hardest to replace since Henke when the terrible day comes. Really hope his legs have at least another 3 seasons in them cos if we do 10IAR he deserves to be the one lifting that trophy.

Good point re 2 years ago but I also think he has been rejuvenated in other ways too.
Well, we done it so we did, we did it with honesty, paying our taxes and without cheating, quite an achievement when you take in everything that is stacked against us in the sectarian craphole that is scotland.

For those of you who enjoy a libation or two… ‘make mine a double’ is a phrase we often hear in the pubs
Perhaps someone could invent a drink called the ‘double treble’ to commemorate this occasion.
Wouldn’t it be fun to go into the local and order a Double Treble from the local zombie bartender and watch his head explode?

I thought Scott was MotM yesterday to be honest. His will to win shone and he careered up the pitch, driving us forward and was unlucky not to create a goal or two. He looked to enjoy driving forward nearly as much as he loved striding up the Celtic-way with the cup.
Also thought Moussa was MotM.
Callum’s goal and display probably made him MotM. Was good to hear him dispel some ill-founded claims of his childhood allegiances too.
Felt sorry for Leigh not getting on the pitch. Maybe just as well though, don’t know how he’d have contained himself on that bus if he’d played a part. He was like a wean on smarties.
