  1. just in and checked BBC stats , Celtic committed 4 fouls, Murderwell 7 , we had 4 players booked , Murderwell 2 . Enjoy the pain that the MSM and MIB`s must be enduring, their hurting is now very obvious.

The MIB`s will get their chance in the Scottish Cup and they will take it…

    Celtic attendance today: 48,002

It would hve been 48,004 if I had not tanned in a bottle of gin last night :(

    – > If that is true, it really does sum up the amateurish-ness of our sporting media in (grammatically incorrect) sentence.

Wall-to-wall coverage, but almost zero analysis or valid comment.

  4. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

SSB were sent a picture of the ball fully OFF the ‘spot’ ….. comment from pundit “are we sure that’s a picture of THAT ball” ……..LLLOOOLLL

Not sure if the murderwell player dived, but if he did, the mib has merely DONE HIS JOB, instinctively…….best way GIU them……Doooo Dooo

When is the Scottish football review of the year ? I cant see it anywhere on the EPG or is my spectacle denial reaching new proportions ?

Surely wee Niall McGinn has been the best footballer in the SPL this season?

The Clyde 1 comment from today when the caller was “angry” regarding the ball not being on the penalty spot.

That Mr Dalziel sums up why you are on that pathetic excuse for a football show!

The rest of the panel never even challenged his ridiculous comment!

2 Celtic players were shown a yellow card for clearly pointing out the referees “errors” this afternoon!

This is simply not good enough, as these bookings can potentially keep these players from competing!

    Shockinglybadrefereeingcsc!

  9. Let’s face it there’s a whole section of the MSM and the Scottish public who cannot stomach to see us do well and do you know what I hope they’re all choking on their bitterness tonight and every night of their miserable lives…

We are Celtic and that’s why we are Champions and no matter how hard they try or how much they cheat and connive they have never been able to better us…

    Hurts doesn’t it scumsuckers…

  10. Afternoon all.

Enjoyed the match- with a bit of luck and a worse keeper than Rudolph we’d have had the game won by half time. Bit scrappier in 2nd half but got there in end. Ref was as bad as I’ve seen in a while , which is saying something. Top men Sammi, Charlie, Hoops and eI Gran Murallo with Izzy and Efe looking a bit shaky.

GIRFUT, their pain is really starting to show.

Looking to upset our continuity/preparations with suspensions.

Perfect response by FF and the team.

    Magic assist by Sammi again.

  12. mccall seriously sounds like he is gonny burst oot greetin.

and complains they didnt get a second penalty.

  13. Delighted with the result today, and the hurt being suffered by the msm and all the others who are not having a good start to 2013 because Celtic are a mile in front in the SPL, and still in the other 3 competitions including the last 16 of the CL.

Not so delighted with another truly shocking display by today’s mib – FF and Vic booked for pointing out that the ball was NOT correctly positioned on the penalty spot(!!), Murphy blatantly diving whenever the opportunity presented itself and Lasley(who else) almost cripling CM.

The club need to speak up about this!

    NOW!

    HH!!

  14. Poor substitution nearly cost us. I can understand wanting to get Watt on, but not as right winger. Taking off Kayal & moving Mulgrew back to defence caused 10 minutes of mayhem when our midfield was overrun. Wanyama & Ambrose were poor/unfit, both had treatment, one of them should have went off instead of Kayal. Too much tinkering. Smashing game right enough, one of the better ones at CP.

  15. Just back from the game and I do not want to go over the top with criticism but we STILL have a problem in our home matches at CP.

In 10 home games we have scored 14 goals ( 4 against Ross County so we are averaging 1 goal in every other home SPL tie) and we have conceded 6. That is worrying form that needs to be resolved. All our big scoring performance in the SPL have been away from CP (4 at Inverness, 5 in Paisley and 4 at Tynecastle).

Yes, we scored 4 against Raith and 5 against St. Johnstone but those were cup ties in front of smaller crowds.

We are not providing a lot of entertainment for the 35k to 50k who turn up for home league matches and give us most of our revenue.

It is not a lack of effort or skill as, for the first 20 minutes we were totally dominant and some good play was evident. I cannot put my finger on the full reasons for the malaise though I can see some issues which would help. We do need to be better (quicker and slicker) in central midfield passing with more movement off the ball and passes up the middle.

I am pleased with the win today and the league form in general I am happy to live with. But our home form and our goals tally need an instant boost. Gary Hooper is joint 9th in the SPL Top Scorers charts. Inverness and Motherwell have 2 players who are better than or equal to our Top Scorer.

These are good times but there is room for a lot of work to be done in Spain before we play again on the 19th January.

I would love a 5:0 versus the Jam tarts to reward the home crowds, even the moany ones.

  16. Shortbread now got a programme on about the Ibrox disaster. Was only 8 at the time but I remember the headlines next day. Sad Sad occasion

  17. Celtic try to cheat by painting penalty spot further away from goals.

    Tomorrow’s Daily Record story?

  18. Glendalystonsils likes a mr whippy with his lime green jelly on

SSB is more of a Ludge meetin’ than a sports programme. Sensible thing to do is to steer clear of Ludge meetins

@celticfc: Kelvin Wilson speaking to media: ‘A stonewall penalty. Can’t argue with it but great save from Fraser. Was a relief.’ (MH)

Mebbe just a wee bit of sarcasm there ;-)

  20. We will see an improvement in goals when Stokes comes back,he is far and away the best partner for Hooper.

even worse, should have been out of sight before this crap, of course its a pen and anybody says anything about is getting booked as well. Now when Neil moans at FT about the ref it looks like sour grapes, no use the club must act on the refs. Joke. But that aside the most inconsistant Celtic team ever, No were near good enough, two defeats, happy new year, Thanks Celtic. Hooper can go after another poor show. ragincsc

Written while we were breaking to score. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Then he turns on the scorer, Hooper. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

    Poor troll. Go to bed.

  22. Have to say that I thought Kelvin made a bad tackle for the pen today. He swiped and missed the ball and conected with a fast moving (diving) Well player.

But I was looking 120 yards away from the upper tier of the Jock Stein Stand and, after two eye operations, with steamed up specs so I am not the most reiable witness. The video makes it look a lot more doubtful than it looked in real time.

In fairness to KLV, I was texting a couple of friends saying that Hoops had barely touched the ball all game and he should be hooked for Watt!

Other than the goal, Gary did feck all all game…but who cares, my MOTM was Sammi, who placed a beautiful pass for Hoops to slot in.

I agree, I am looking forward to Stokes being on the pitch again. He scores goals and lays off so much on for Gary too. I just don’t know who he will replace in the team.
