Celtic vindicated

1145

Yesterday’s decision by the SFA’s Judicial Panel, which ruled that Josh Meekings could not be subject to retrospective action as the referee saw the contentious incident on Sunday contradicted the initial official version of events, and totally vindicated Celtic asking for clarification of the incident.

I’ve not had a chance to read through all the apologies from those who used their platforms to criticise the club, but I’ll set aside an hour to do so later.  Keep an eye on the very personal attacks on Peter Lawwell.  There are people at Hampden who don’t like his influence.

It’s never good to get ahead of yourself, and it would be foolish to assume too much ahead of our visit to Tannadice tomorrow, but I hope the Highlanders take a point against Aberdeen today.  Winning the title would be a great way to start a holiday weekend.

Loving the narrative coming out of Ibox at the moment.  It appears they haven’t even applied for membership of the ISDX yet as they haven’t found an advisor yet.  I assume that’s the fault of the Easdales.  Or the BBC.  Or Celtic.  Or maybe it’s the Pope of Rome!

What a shower.  You know how this story ends….

  1. Bada Imo RD was under pressure and did not have a game plan. The result was a panicked substitution which did not work.

Hamiltontim. No worries bud. Like I’ve said, the SNP are doing the ground work. Who you vote for thereafter maybe more crucial in the future. At least they are leading the way. The people in George Sq today are from all walks of life but all aiming for the same objective.

Fair play to you my friend. I spoke to a woman the other night, she’s the mother of a boy arrested under the OBaF Act.

She told me how, after a night shift she saw everyone out the house to school and to work, and then went to bed, closing the door behind them.

She awoke to two police officers standing at the end of her bed.

That’s the SNP that I see.

    Lurkin Tim,

Perhaps you are right, but my impression is that here are talented individuals on here. The Sottish Parliament elections enables the single issue candidates to have a voice and at least put forward a specific. single-issue message. I admire the work that is being done, but wonder if working through the direct channels is going to expose corruption and bring about real change. There may also be a need to think out of the box. Proper governance of sporting associations should be a feature of of a fair and just society.

There are, and i hope always will be, impressive individuals on here…..we’ll hav lost the war if it is otherwise!!! Onto single issue candidates….wtf….am sorry, politics would b a sorrier place if only single issues were on anyones mind….r u trying to simplify politics….good luck with that

Maybe we have approached the two Edinburgh teams and have been rebuffed.

We are the only thing that funds the whole league but much as they need us they will never love us.

They would all rather let the whole thing collapse than admit they were wrong.
