I’m having a preoccupied week, so Hot Smoked and vfr800a8 have kindly stepped forward with today’s article, and an initiative, which will hopefully establish a direct route for the blog to ask questions of the club.
This is from Hot Smoked and vfr800a8, please support the initiative:
In 2004 Paul67 decided that something was needed to combat the distorted MSSM reporting on all things Celtic. The result was the birth of CQN.
Like all good ideas, CQN has developed and now provides an outlet for discussions ranging from Independence to toasted cheese. Nevertheless, the raison d`etre of the site remains the same i.e. as provision of a vehicle to inform on all matters Celtic from a less prejudiced view than that of the MSSM. However, there are still issues that arise that could do with some direct input and clarification from Celtic.
With that in mind, we contacted John Paul Taylor, the Celtic Supporters Liaison Officer and after discussion he has agreed to host a weekly/fortnightly Q & A session at a set time on CQN. He is also willing to do a Blog Q&A session on a regular basis if required; the frequency of the “regular basis” is yet to be defined so we will approach this flexibly.
If there are urgent issues that arise then we can approach John Paul to see if there is a possibility of a response prior to the scheduled meetings, though it is expected that this will only take place in exceptional circumstances.
Initially, to ensure that all areas of any given topic are covered, we would propose we tackle different sets of questions on separate weeks; for example:
Week 1 – Res 12 and “same club” issues
Week 2 – The stadium, fan experience and safety at other stadiums
Week 3 – Ticket allocation issues
Week 4 – Offensive Behaviour at Football Act
The questions and issues will be collated centrally on CQN and grouped to reflect the various views on the Blog. We feel that this approach is unique to CQN and don’t think any other fan site has this opportunity so we must use it wisely.
It is envisaged that if those using CQN see this as being useful and beneficial that we start the meetings on Friday 18th November 2016, so we would finalise questions and issues by mid-day on tomorrow, 17th November to get them to John Paul. Please send questions you would like to raise to competition@celticquicknews.co.uk and Liason in the subject line
So, let us know what you think and if the feedback is positive, we can get this off the ground! If there are issues or questions you have on Res 12 and the same club myth please let us know by noon tomorrow by emailing competition@celticquicknews.co.uk
Thanks, Hot Smoked and vfr800a8.
In other news CQN is delighted to publish Stephen Murray’s new book Kenny of the Celtic today. It’s available now from cqnbookstore.com

Got to say that each meeja release is getting closer and closer to the the truth, they seem to be getting emboldened by the previous competitors version.
I mean there is already a subtle change in who the target of res12 is, what a waste of time and effort eh :)

Wanting to know people’s names and details? In the time honoured rules “You first”, how about publishing one’s own name and details and see how uncomfortable it has been for the Res12 guys?
A social experiment if you will…

Cup Final tickets on sale now for those who attended either Alloa or Motherwell games: http://www.celticfc.net/news/11634
Be quick bhoys and ghirls. Remember there are a few CQN’ers who had already booked to come over from Ireland looking for tickets; so if you’re not going I’m sure there would be appreciation if you pocured and “passed on” tickets to them.

A wonder if Joey will send in a doctors line, saying he’s on the Pat & Mick?
Morning Bhoys from a wet Central Scotland well a Friday evening to the Astra Turf at Kilmarnock could be a tricky game with players coming back from International games.Focus and hard graft will be needed to win the 3 points. H.H.

Lynchiebhoy? Almore?
I have spare for Cup Final. North Stand at our end.
If the guys from Ireland want it then leave a note here in the first instance and then we can take it from there.
Oh no. Don’t tell me Joey is facing a season long ban?!
Wahahahahahahahahaha!!

Thank you for your response.
I am truly at a loss to understand what it is that you are seeking. Leaving aside the suspicion regarding our Board’s motives, in which matter you are not alone, would you not accept that the Requisitioners have schieved fantastic success in progressing Res12 matters? To have proceeded to a vote in 2013 might, or might not, have shown up our Board but to what end? Unfortunately, there are many supporters who still yearn for games against Sevco and the Board may have adduced arguments to support its stance based on the limited knowledge we had in 2013.
Who cares whether or not one of the team driving forward Res12 was, or was not, a shareholder in 2013. It does not disqualify Res12.
I suggest that you send your dossier by post to the company secretary and let’s be done with internet sniping. HH
————-
An Teach Solais. You are missing the point. My issue is not about who, or who wasn’t shareholders in 2013. It certainly would have made it more representative if all four were, but it’s not that important.
I only became interested when an innocent question as met with an obvious reluctance to say out of the four requisitioners, how many were shareholders.
Why not? What’s the harm? Do they believe that it will reflect badly on them if they acknowledge that one, or maybe more than one of them, God forbid, were not shareholders at the time they acted for me and the ninety or so others.
So, it is they who are keeping this issue alive, not me.
Apart from my dislike of being double-crossed and not letting go, (persistence!) my main issue is that I believe that the Resolution 12 initiative was compromised at the very start through the machinations of reps of the plc, and at least two of the resolutioners colluding with the plc.
————–
“the Requisitioners have achieved fantastic success in progressing Res12 matters”
Fantastic success?? Jesus Wept! Check the timeline. Please. As soon as Celtic knew in February that the Huns would be promoted and the Old Firm brand restored they restored they cut the resolutioners adrift and told them to get on with it on their own.
Re your AnPost advice. You don’t have to use bread crumbs. I know how to post a letter.
I will, however, take your advice and write to the club. While I haven’t been encouraged by Celtic Park non-response to my letter of 29th October I will, this time register the envelope and mark confidential to Pl. My information won’t make pleasant reading, but, no matter. If he does his job properly he will reply. And, I won’t be asking for shareholder information.
HH
Canamalar,
We’ve been down this road of labelling Kill Ultra a Level 5er before. I think you have the man’s details? He doesn’t fit the profile of typical Level 5er…? If Papajoe is correct he’s completely the opposite?
Kill Ultra,
My late father made financial sacrifices to buy a Season Book for years and witnessed an EBT fuelled Rangers cheat and win title after title. The Board must have known of the cheating? The fact that the haven’t had the decency to ‘put the record straight’ is a disgrace.
It’s quite clear that investigation and clarification of Res 12/Sevco/EBT issues have continued to face considerable ‘resistance’ from within and outwith Celtic Park.
This isn’t going away.
Phil Mac Giolla Bhain is based in Dhún na nGall, maybe you could talk to him?

Any apparent convergence between Res12 and the media should not be construed as the message getting through.
There has been no Damascusian enlightenment.
It is merely one side of a two pronged attack on a common enemy.
A bit of a Yalta.

Thanks for that link to Evening Times article.
It is interesting in that is really an update from the same journalist Martin Williams in The Herald yesterday that omitted the new club info.
I know from Twitter this was raised and it is good to see a response that further enlightens.
The truth is out there but perhaps, just perhaps, it is coming home for tea.

Look Waghorn was just naive.

Kill Ultra,
As one of the ‘ninety or so’, why would you want my personal details?
Tour de Force from AWE NAW at 940.
Well worth a read.
I’ve been going out with a girl,
her name is Joey
But last night she said to me,
when we were watching telly
(This is what she said)
She said listen Martyn, I love you
But there’s this bloke, I fancy
I don’t want to two time you,
so it’s the end for you and me
Who’s this bloke I asked her
Seaaaaaannnnn, she replied
Not THAT puff, I said dismayed
Yes but he’s no puff she cried
(He’s more of a man than you’ll ever be)
Here we go, two three four
I was so upset that I cried,
all the way to the chip shop
When I came out there was Sean´s wee brar,
standing at the bus stop
(And guess who was with him? Yeah, Joey, and they were both laughing at me)
Oh, she is cruel and heartless
to pack me for Sean
Just cos he’s better looking than me
Just cos he’s cool and trendy
But I know he’s a moron, Sean wee brars is a moron
SEan wee brars a moron, Seans wee brars is a moron
Here we go, two three four
Oh she’s a slag and he’s a creep
She’s a tart, he’s very cheap
She is a slut, he thinks he’s tough
She is a bitch, he is a puff
Yeah yeah, it’s not fair
Yeah yeah, it’s not fair
(I’m so upset)
I’m so upset, I’m so upset, yeah yeah
(I ought to smash his face in.)
(Yeah, but he’s bigger than me. In’t he?)
(I know, I’ll get my mate Bazza to hit him. He’d flatten him)
(Yeah but Bazza’s a mate of Sean’s in’e?)
(Oh well, I don’t care)
I don’t care
I don’t care
Cause she’s a slag and he’s a creep
she’s a tart, he’s very cheap
she is a slut, he thinks he’s tough……
Waghorn does walking away.

I reckon Waghorn is playing the Get Me Out of Jail Free card. You know, like the one played by Joey.
Mental health issues.
Reminds me of an old edition of Not The View, with a before and after photo of Ray Wilkins, from his early days at Chelsea, the good-looking richly-coiffed poster boy,to his latter days as a snarling follically-challenged maniac at Rangers.
Caption-proof that joining Rangers turns you bald ugly and insane!

Kill Ultra,
As one of the ‘ninety or so’, why would you want my personal details?
——–
I don’t want your personal details. My request to Celtic was the last resort after Canamalar and Auldheid refused me the information. I was interested in four requisitioners only; a simple Yes or No in each case would have been enough. Believe me, I’ve more to do with my time than go looking for information that’s of no interest to me.
