  1. How many votes does Sevco need to be in 1st division ?

Reason I’m asking is because it’s a secret ballot and i don’t trust whoever is counting the votes.

  2. Petec,

Aye, “oops, sorry folks, we need another 4500 troops on site on top of the 30,000 already there”.

FFS, they really treat us with contempt.

Is Martial Law such a mad prospect to consider? Didn’t they do that in the States for the first time not too long ago???

    Feck me.

Hope you’re well bhud, and keeping sane amidst all this mania?? :))

The French Revolution (1789–1799), was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France that had a major impact on France and throughout the rest of Europe. The absolute monarchy that had ruled France for centuries collapsed in three years. French society underwent an epic transformation, as feudal, aristocratic and religious privileges evaporated under a sustained assault from radical left-wing political groups, masses on the streets, and peasants in the countryside. Old ideas about tradition and hierarchy – of monarchy, aristocracy, and religious authority – were abruptly overthrown by new Enlightenment principles of equality, citizenship and inalienable rights.

The American War of Independence was the result of the political American Revolution. Colonists galvanized around the position that the Stamp Act of 1765, imposed by Parliament of Great Britain, was unconstitutional. The British Parliament insisted it had the right to tax colonists. The colonists claimed that, as they were British subjects, taxation without representation was illegal. The American colonists formed a unifying Continental Congress and a shadow government in each colony, though at first remaining loyal to the king. The American boycott of taxed British tea led to the Boston Tea Party in 1773, when shiploads of tea were destroyed. London responded by ending self-government in Massachusetts and putting it under the control of the British army with General Thomas Gage as governor.

Who will be our George Washington?

Apartheid was a system of racial segregation enforced through legislation by the National Party governments, who were the ruling party from 1948 to 1994, of South Africa, under which the rights of the majority black inhabitants of South Africa were curtailed and white supremacy and Afrikaner minority rule was maintained. Racial segregation in South Africa began in colonial times under Dutch[2] and British rule. However, apartheid as an official policy was introduced following the general election of 1948. New legislation classified inhabitants into four racial groups (“native”, “white”, “coloured”, and “Asian”),[3] and residential areas were segregated, sometimes by means of forced removals. Non-white political representation was completely abolished in 1970, and starting in that year black people were deprived of their citizenship, legally becoming citizens of one of ten tribally based self-governing homelands called bantustans, four of which became nominally independent states. The government segregated education, medical care, beaches, and other public services, and provided black people with services inferior to those of white people.[4]

cee lo & ally have been very low key in the lead up to the vote. Do they intend to present the same ‘here’s why you need us’ powerpoint that was such a wow, just wow! with the SPL?

I’m guesssing they’ll turn up and do their hilarious ‘mike & bernie winters’ skit followed by their rib-tickling ‘Cannon & Ball’ and topping off with ‘vote for us or die!’

Why should Sevco get div 3? No play off with a highland league team?

Sevco may go bust and satisfy zero criteria for membership.

    Not even a name ..

Shameless arrogance .. Regan Doncaster out too..

Tomorrow I pray will be a humiliating day for a former team founded on religious bigotry and the use of massive financial irregularities – aided and abetted by a pliant, succulent media devoid of credibility and even a question..

Factor in political and financial psycophancy and the scale of their misdemeanours is staggering ..

That the Celtic family stood up to this and overcame it , is credit to all of us and our predecessors..

Today should once again be our day..

    Like May 25 1967,

13 July 2012 should be another Celtic day..

    We welcome the chase..

9 in a row and European Cup winners..

Bhoys and Ghirls please read the Clyde FC statement below:

    Clyde Statement

It perfecly encapsulates the issues. Forget Sevco in SFL3. There is no justification for Newclub in ANY league in professional footall in Scotland. NONE.

Please don’t forget this. SFL3 is a sop, a compromise, a nod to Ogilvie and his cronies. Charles Green cannot look anyone in the eye and guarantee to complete fixtures in any league next season.

They are dead. Observe a respectful silence then move on – to dismantle the SFA, SPL and the cronyism of Ogilvie et al.

Most people think I’m crazy in work because I keep going on about this but hey as long as I am being honest in what I am projecting, even if it means everyone ridicules me. Voice in the wilderness and all that.

I have never felt more sane to be honest. I have now cut MSG as well out of my diet (as much as possible) and my Blood Pressure has definitely been dropping because it was steadily rising over a period. I cut out Aspartame a long time ago but age does take its toll and does indeed slow you down.

The last thing I want is to get locked into the pharmakeia grip that gets most people.

  9. petec,

had to laugh at the dumbarton yes to division 1 for newco

then the directors start telling the media they may change their mind at the vote at hampden.

every club that votes them into division 1 needs to be boycotted IMHO

brechin and stenhousemuir also voted yes to newco

the rest of the clubs that are undecided are all more or less certain to vote yes to newco.

but we may never know if there is a secret ballot

if they require a smaller league set up just pay the directors of the clubs who vote yes to close their clubs down and take the cash and play junior football

so dundee and airdrie are out of vote

that would leave 28 teams to vote

    so 15 would be required

if it is the vote will send sevco to division 3

  18. Rascar Capac on

I’ve never understood the argument of scotland having too many teams.

They just find their level, and that seems fine.

I went to many Clydebank games as a boy, and 500 folk turned up, sang about El Dorado wine, and and went home happy enough.

The same day thousands of Bankies went to Celtic Park, and to a lesser extent Ibrox.

Last year I went to Clydebank v Auchinleck Talbot, and again about 500 turned up and we had a good day. (Auchinleck fans are ferocious, incredible passion!)

Why not have loadsa clubs if they find their level and pay for themselves?

  19. Fortunes Favour Mibbes

He was obviously right on many things, and you can bet yer bottom dollar he plagiarised a lot of that stuff, IMO ;)

Read the 3rd paragraph in the link because that is his deep seated view, no matter how well he presents other important things.

Do you think he ever changed his view? I don’t.

  20. petec

Haven;t read link, not sure which one..?

But had a good look into them…

By labelling certain families’ religions and putting that to the centre of the argument, weakened, sadly, everything they had to say.

The current powers use religion (like their predecessors POST Roman empire!) to undermine the truth as confusion is their objective.

As an atheist/ lapsed Catholic, I can fully see how that relates to John Chapter XIII.

    Strange times indeed.

  21. Petec,

know how you feel concerning the strange looks at work when spouting about aspartame, msg’s,gm’s,vaccines etc.

Gotta keep spreading the word though, imo.

  22. zimmerman

Yep, at the very least it shows more insight, understanding and concern than those that would seek to ridicule such concerns without any legit argument in response.

Am I right in thinking, that those that have spoken the truth throughout history, and in support of humanity, have always had to fight the MSM of the time against attempts to humiliate and ridicule them?

    Will we ever learn.

  23. Fortunes Favour Mibbes on 13 July, 2012 at 01:51

It was my link @ 1:25, heres the paragraph.

“I discovered the most horrible form of anti-Semitism yet in Benjamin Creme’s books. It was one closely resembling another New Age change agent who specializes in deceiving conservative Americans: Eustace Mullins. On a trip to the Los Angeles Simon Weisenthal Institute in summer of 1986, I was given a copy of Eustace Mullins’ THE SECRET HOLOCAUST. He claimed in that book that the Jews had been the real war criminals in Germany and that when they feared they would be charged with war claims, they simply dressed up bodies of their dead German victims as Jews and falsely claimed they were Jews. The Jews, claimed Mullins, had escaped to ‘rest camps’ such as Auschwitz and waited out the war there. ”

And to lighten the mood again.

    http://www.celticfc.net/newsstory?item=2779

It was amazing to see this picture and to see James lead the team out. We have a Bhoy there who is going to light up Europe this season IMO. I have been really impressed with him and his attitude to the game over the last couple of seasons. James was incredible last season and with the early end to his season, I have a feeling he will be flying in the CL qualifiers, likewise Izzy but I don’t think we will see the very best of Beram until the Group stages proper. ;)
