True but Clough had a 14% win rate during his spell- and had quite clearly lost his dressing room- so even Ol’Bighead would not regard it as a successful period.
Jock had a 40% win rate there but, even though that looks more reasonable, it was the lowest win rate Jock ever had anywhere as a manager.
Sometimes you can be a great manager but you don’t fit your surroundings

I agree that a good few players should be jettisoned.
It is Celtic, it is a cause against the cheating and the bad guys. Not giving everything is unforgivable IMO – A reason we will only do really well now, when we have as many Celtic Supporters in the team as possible.
If you don’t like the Manager/Assistant Manager/Coach you are well recompensed to put up with that.
Ronny wasn’t strong enough to drop certain players. Nir Bitton went from an excellent player to Brutal to watch, the price tag certainly wasn’t weighing him down.
An end to this for sale players, playing in the team, when they are playing utter crap.
I hope Brendan has full control.
I must say I’m looking forward to a skillful midfield being developed by Brendan.
Dave would certainly be an addition in that respect. The midfield has been poor for many a year, IMO.
Ryan Christie looks likely to be a good addition to the Celts.

No doubt we are nothing special but it was good seasoned players like Lennon hartson Thompson that put the fight back into the celts.. Just think we could be doing with that.

Brendan will decide the level of our squad.
A team is a collection of players assembled into a cohesive unit.
We have rarely . been a cohesive unit these last two seasons.
I expect some of those retained will surprise me.
Likewise those who leave.
The transfer rumor line seems fairly quiet so far.
Maybe Brendan wants training to resume before making decisions?
It’s an interesting season ahead and i hope Brendan has a firm eye on our talented youth with just a few experienced signings.
