Going one better next season

943

We had a special night at the Celtic Supporters’ Association’s 67th Annual Rally last night.  It was great to see our two treble winning captains: Tom Boyd giving praise to the giant of the European game, Billy McNeill.

I had a chat with Scott Brown, who received his Association Player of the Year award.  A day before he collects his fourth consecutive league championship trophy you’d think he would afford a moment of satisfaction, but he’s not happy this isn’t a treble winning season.  The events at Hampden last month have left an open wound.  All he could talk about was going one better next season.

Before you leave for the game tomorrow remember to bring along some change to buy a Ronny Roar badge to raise funds for the work of your Foundation.  See you there.

Son’s game is at 11.30. I will hopefully get to Paradise at 1.30 any ideas where to park near Springfield Road/Dalmarnock?

Oh and FTSFA and all those who have made football so awkward to attend.

  6. Personally I don’t have a problem if footballers who support the FOD don’t want to play for us.

I’d never have played for them and would be vexed if any of my family ever did.

I’m most concerned about my sister. I mean she’s a 44 year old music teacher who couldnae see the ba to kick it – but I hear they’re lining her up to replace the Muppet Moshni!

ML5 (Drumpelier Lochs) was awash with the new hoops today, had a wee family day oot to free me up for tomorrow, probably more wee ghirls wearing the hoops than bhoys which is great, apart from my wee monster who says “am a girl I don’t like football” but today I put on “let the people sing” she responds with her favourite hymn “queen of the May” she has the voice of an angel to her dads ears, to others it might shatter glass…… It might be a long process but I know for a fact she will dorm the hoops, she did slip up and say who are “we” playing tomorrow……

According to impeccable sources who were familiar with Scott Brown’s ‘background’ he was signing, for a former club.

It’s why we are better CSC

    —————–

That’s why we shouldn’t believe “sources”, one of Scott Brown’s best pals worked with my Mum, let’s call him Jacob *cos that was his name* right up to him signing for us he was telling his friends that he was going to the huns

    Beautiful bud. :)

Clydebank shopping centre was a mass of hooped nb shirts and loads of weans in full kit. Have never seen the Celtic shop so busy. P4RTY tomorrow. Enjoy. :)

  12. My Bros-in-Law who now lives in Perth W.A. is home on holiday. He is taking his wife to the game tomorrow, she’s Australian. Although she has visited Celtic Park on her previous visits to ML5, she has never been to a game. Tomorrow will be her first. I know The Bad Lieutenant Returns will enjoy the game. I hope his wife does, I’m sure she will.

So do you think De Gea will stay in Manchester?

    ————

I’d say no, apparently his girlfriend stays in Madrid despite him being at Man U for the last 3/4 years. Though he is a Atlectico boy, but that never stopped Raul.

Wars are for Nothing – lyrics to the Hungary an Eurovision entry.

Do you know our earth is a mess

All the wars for nothing, it never ends

    Everybody deserves a chance

All the souls, all the souls, can you hear them cry?

That you live in peace does not mean

It’s okey to ignore all the pain

I see children joining the stars

Soldiers walk towards the dark, let me ask

Can you justify all the eyes

    That will never see daylight

Give me one good reason to hurt

A helpless soul, break a heart, kill a mind.

Do you know how many innocents

    Are hiding from punishment

    For crimes they’d never commit

All alone, all alone, do they deserve

To die for believing something else,

For having a face someone can’t stand

Do you know our earth is a mess

All the wars for nothing, it never ends

All the souls, all alone, hold them tight

All the souls, deserve a chance at life

I have 2 young(ish) nephews both at CQN11 but have been brought up buying their strips from the Celtic Shop (in Coatbridge) I overheard them once saying its £10 cheaper in Monklands Sports….. I said you’d be as well not buying it then if the money isn’t going to Celtic, I have now witnessed the oldest saying this to his oldest daughter, teach them correctly and they will learn……
