Going one better next season

943

We had a special night at the Celtic Supporters’ Association’s 67th Annual Rally last night.  It was great to see our two treble winning captains: Tom Boyd giving praise to the giant of the European game, Billy McNeill.

I had a chat with Scott Brown, who received his Association Player of the Year award.  A day before he collects his fourth consecutive league championship trophy you’d think he would afford a moment of satisfaction, but he’s not happy this isn’t a treble winning season.  The events at Hampden last month have left an open wound.  All he could talk about was going one better next season.

Before you leave for the game tomorrow remember to bring along some change to buy a Ronny Roar badge to raise funds for the work of your Foundation.  See you there.

I think your right, this is now the impressionable years

Their dad has been trying to influence them playing dvd ‘s of Rangers games to them, one thing they notice is, the singing and noise is amazing at Rangers games and we only have the Gb section singing

Their words by the way haha

They obviously don’t know what the Rangers fans sing every week but they say it sounds brill!!

And that my friend is one thing we as a support need to look at, anyhoo gutted that I am, life goes on and it’s only a game after all.

    Upwards and onwards… Here’s to 5iar :))

  2. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

    Gerryfaethebrig,

I was told last week Neil will be at the game tomorrow and Bada Bing confirmed it this week.

I hope he enjoys his day seeing our team celebrating as much as we will.

Belated congratulations on your new job. When do you start?

  3. Roy croppie

The huddle at 23.01, some of our support think some of us over emphasise the relationship between the refs and the clubs that have played at Ibrox but that elbows story is another example of why we should be concerned.

Would elbows’ behaviour not be worthy of a report to the SFA complaince chap because of the aggresive and disrespectful manner shown to match officials? Probably not after the ref’s report following the alleged shame game four years ago.

  5. ....PFayr supports WeeOscar on

Last season Dallas gave Sevco a pen at Ibrox that no one claimed for …..

Crazy thing is that refs and players meeting up is a thing?? It’s real.

  7. Would far rather see Liam Henderson given a chance than sign Scott Allen

Plus some more of youth be given a chance, let’s see some faith in our own

Many of them looked worth a chance in the recent Cup Final

Hail Hail, not be long now 4 a P4rty :-)

  8. BMCUWP: Fair point earlier re referendum result. People of my generation were raised in a society that had many abhorrent prejudices. Anyone looking in on us now would see a very open and tolerant society. Great for everyone as you say.

Quonno: I’m a few years younger than you but I grew up in a society that was very much influenced by the various churches. You are right about McQuade. The various religions have lost their tight control over people’s views, people make up their own minds now, for better or for worse.

BGFC/wbgfc: See you tomorrow at the Chorner.
