Just back from a thoroughly enjoyable game. Outwith poor finishing though Celtic played very well. Forrest on one wing and Boerrigter on the other is going to cause havoc in premiership defences.

Some of the football we played today was excellent. A couple of “Efe” moments that could have been punished. Their goal was a cracker. Walker blamed FF. I disagree. We could/should have scored 3 or 4. Derk looks very useful. I feel a good season coming on.

Commons lost some composure as he tired, and should have scored, after fine work from Anthony Stokes who worked the channels relentlessly.James Forrest continued from Wednesday night, but is still trying to find a Celtic man, interspersed, with his unique brand of wing wizardry.
Sammerassless Celtic plugged away, and fresh Matthews for part time pro Lustig, livened up the proceedings on the right, but Tony Watt had that look of wanting to be anywhere else, but wide left for Celtic, and didn’t appreciate the thumping right back tackling with hi sback to goal.
Wiliie Collum couldn’t stay anonymous and had made his mind up no penalty for Celtic despite a routine award, for the neutral.
But Celtic, and lonely Stokes without a line holder, still found a hole in the wall and sent Celtic’s bewitching, hoards home happily.

Just in from match. Thought we played quite well in patches and with some luck ( and a competent ref) we would have won comfortably. Liked the look of big Derk and once he scored his long range equaliser AS played with lot more confidence. Worried that we started sluggishly and although he improved I remain to be convinced by Efe.
Strange goings on in Forfar I gather. Would have thought El Steakbake may well be going for a walk away soon. Mccoist is fairly obviously a red rotten manager and although he seems preferable to Charles Integrity Green it’s hard to feel sorry for him. Alright, impossible
