Hayes, Koki Mizuno and the right-mid gap

1491

You and I have been doing this long enough to remember this place in meltdown at the prospect of Celtic signing a player from another SPL club. Domestically sourced talent was regarded as unimaginative, cheap, even. Contrast this with the utter joy when we signed Koki Mizuno, who was full-on exotic, but built for finer things then competitive football.

At 29, Aberdeen’s Irish international midfielder, Jonny Hayes is certainly unimaginative, and may be comparatively cheap, but he’s also a low-risk option for Celtic, who will know what they could get (and what they will not get) from the player.

With Patrick Roberts due to report to Manchester City on his return from holiday, Celtic are short of options for right-mid, with the first Champions League qualifier only five weeks away. The manager will view this gap in his squad as an unnecessary risk to next season’s objectives.

I dont get involved in the serious issues on here,

but i am amazed at people thinking the solution to the violence is to allow us all to carry weapons

    What an excellent, insightful post.

It strikes at the ignorance that is flung about regarding Muslims in much of the MSM & Social Media.

Of course Wahhabis prefer to be known as Salafis.

It is a very modern version of Islam, less than 300 years old – Yet seems medieval as it seeks it’s roots in a much older, intolerant version of Islam.

When you look at the various adherents and teachings of Islam from the North West Coast of Africa to the Indonesian Islands the most dogmatic and reactionary version of Islam is the Salafi.

Over 200 years ago in the Arabian Gulf this most virulent strain of Islam, rekindled on the Arabian Peninsula.

As you say, the are hugely wealthy patrons of their beliefs – Osama Bin Laden was financed in terms of Multi- Billions on the premise he would open Salafi Mosques and gain converts around the Muslim World.

Of course the Ironic thing is the Salifis are the Muslims who the West are most “friendly” with and does far and away the most trade with. Selling many, many Billions in Arms and Security services… The RAF, SBS and SAS “Consultancy” services are sold mainly to Salifis.

You can even have a nice Holiday in Dubai, UAE, or take in a Fitbaw Tournament in Qatar. They may tolerate us but don’t for one moment believe that the level of contempt that they hold the decadent Western Infedels.
