    First time watching Celtic in the flesh , 31st October 1959 , Hibernian vs Celtic in Edinburgh a draw 3-3 .

     

    The magical Wii,e Fernie how could one not supportCeltic after seeing this genius

    My first game Celtic v Celtic Belfast and Glasgow versions circa 1952/53 at Celtic park Belfast in aid for kircubbin boys home county Down.As for English clubs,never had one,no interest.I was a three year old,with my parents,but I was there,my debut.

    A very good friend of mine was on the park at Lou’s testimonial .. he ran half the park with a red white & black tricolour… then turned the flag to green white n gold :-)

     

     

    At Lou’s testimonial as a kid I didn’t know who Paddy Crerand was … as wee idiots we got into the stands and I ended up next to Mr Crerand and his lady … he thought it was funny us wee dafties were out for a laugh. … when we got home I told my father … he said that was Paddy Crearand !!!!! I still said who is he :-)

    Good morning all from a dry but overcast Garngad

     

     

    Last week of my 2 week break and I am still trying to finish painting this damn fence in between rain falls.

     

     

    I see PL is going on the SPL board, yaaaaas the hun zombie idiots will be going mental with that, in fact the Ragers will be Raging.😂

     

     

    We need a keeper at all costs.

    I could be wrong but got a feeling Neil & big Fraz have already done a deal and El Gran Murella is waiting on Southampton settling him up … since the restart of the EPL McCarthy has been playing well for the Saints … imo Fraz will be back hence the lack of urgency from Neil … and maybe Neil thinks Scott B is an able number 1 for now

    Personally, I think it is very funny that Sevco have actually won a close-season trophy.

     

     

    From our point of view, everybody who played managed to come out of the games without an injury. Disappointed Rogic, Bayo and MJ weren’t available but I understand there’s a chance that Rogic will play against PSG.

     

     

    I think we will be ready for the earlier qualifiers and our initial domestic run. But it’s clear to me that we need a GK and a winger urgently.

     

     

    On top of that, striker and LB’s will need to be looked at.
