BBC’s series, Scotland’s Game, has become compulsive viewing. Tales of redemption for Celtic, Hearts and others, and tales of woe for some. Last night’s episode had a few remarkably frank admissions.
One which caught the eye was former-Rangers former-manager, Alex McLeish, who admitted his title winning team “would’ve been behind [Celtic]” had they not funded their squad through EBTs. We should all take note for when the Big Tax Case reaches the Supreme Court.
Pleased to see the appropriate amount of damage done to Rangers by majority owner and chairman, David Murray, was correctly attributed, with one or two character defects throw in for good measure by contributing journalist, Tom English.
Aberdeen have nailed their proverbial flag to the mast this week with the word, “No previous meeting found” on their fixture list comment on a forthcoming game against Newco. It’s a simple comment, it’s accurate, has been confirmed in writing by Uefa and will position the club shoulder-to-shoulder with their fans.
Get it right, Celtic.

All kidding aside the people who were dealing with the the Rangers case was shocking, every log on had to be logged, I remember reading that there was a HMRC leak, bullshit, none of us civil servants get paid enough to leak a story and who would you leak bad news too ? The Smsm, anyway my sister (who had nothing to do with the case and heehaw to do with football) actually dealt with Heidi Poom ??? In a good few HMRC court cases, Ms Poom had no clue who this tax evading company was……she could not believe with the evidence presented that 2 other “impartial” professionals could not stand by her judgement …….David Murray was Crag Whyte without the internet

Great weekend on a personal note.
Visited Miss Hunderbirds one and two, in their new Dennistoun flat. Picking up a microwave and hoover at the Forge Tesco on Saturday with them, it was sunny at the time, so took a walk over to Celtic Park. Just for a walk aboot. Bought another £25 tee-shirt, got some photos with me and the girls.
Then Breakfast at Coias this morning, me Mrs H and the two Misses.
Back up the A9 now.
