More injuries and set-piece woes for Spartak

1051

Just as Celtic’s injury problems appear to be lifting Spartak Moscow’s are getting more acute each passing game.  Their cult-hero goalkeeper, Andriy Dykan, was substituted after picking up an injury in yesterday’s win against 10-man Amkar Perm and is unlikely to face Celtic.  Already injured, Pareja, Welliton, Parshivlyuk, Jurado and Romulo, never made the squad.

The goal Spartak lost to ninth-place Amkar, is worthy of note.  It was the eighth goal they have lost to a set piece in the last 10 games.  Celtic have been particularly effective from set pieces in Europe already this season and will see an opportunity in corners and free kicks deep in opposition territory.

Tuesday is the day…..

I’m sure the MSM will want a full transparent report of that meeting ………mmmm

  3. There is something fundamentally dishonest about using a popular Celtic FC blog to promote personal (religeous and other) belief systems. Classic trolling. Plenty of dedicated forums on t’Internet for all that kind of stuff.

Paul sets the excellent rule and example of keeping the blog free of bad language – children also read CQN. My personal opinion but some of the extreme beliefs now regularly expressed on CQN are far more dangerous.

Yes —-very badly written . ..

The recent scandal in Rochdale suggests that the Police and Social Services were very reluctant re taking action re allegations that young girls were being systematically abused by organized criminals. .

Why was that allowed to happen ? How was that allowed to happen ?.

£94,426,217.22 aye, but according to the huns, Shunsuke Nakamura’s image rights were worth $100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 and 25 cents.

I was recently in Japan, and Football is a minority sport, most folk follow baseball. However starting all my presentations with a pictuer of Naka in a Celtic Jersey helped to break the ice and he is recognised by most. I doubt the image rights were worth any estimate given by the huns/MSM.

  9. I look forward to Fat Jabba’s piece next week and how he links screwing the tax payer for £94,426,217.22 with something Celtic have done.

Watched them v Barca / watched them v Prem ———-they are no mugs . The Brazilian forward Ari looks to be a player . They have pace . They have good technique . Pass and move , pass and move . The Nigerian Emenike is a handful.

Their home record in the CL group stages is poor . Celtic’s away record in the CL group stages is poor . Suggests a draw !
