It was a clear foul on Gamboa. Doesn’t excuse the poor passing and finishing from Celtic. Threw that away

Feels like a defeat. Still, if the great effort by Benkovic had not been wrongly chopped off, we would have won comfortably.
Well Celtic were poor to many slow passes allowed the Well to get back and defend Hayes brings nothing to the team and neither does Sinclair and big Eddie has turned back into a statue. I think most us of us could see the Well goal coming Kilmarnock on Saturday will really fancy there chances. I think the amount of games we have played is really catching us up. H.H.

W learned nothing new this night. We know we have some dross taking a wage and we know the refs hate us. We should have known that Murderwell will fight like feck in their own midden. Move onto Saturday where Mogadon Clarke brings his brand of football to die watching arrives. Another tense 90 minutes ahead. HH
1-0 is always tricky no matter how far on top any shot for the other team can go in (foul on Gamboa?) We had a perfectly good 2nd goal chopped off because Clancy is a shite bag.

And that’s the perfect example of how a cheating ref can change a game, foul on Gamboa by the goal scorer immediately before the goal was bookable
Making that many changes has come back to bite us again.
Rather worryingly our record in the last five games is 0-0, 3-0, 1-0, 1-0 and 1-1. Not a lot of goals being scored again. Admittedly one of those games was away in Europe and the other a cup final but, nevertheless, we need to find our shooting boots and quick.
We need full strength team at the weekend and for me that means no Broonie.

Start of the season form.
We phoned in that second half performance. Lazy or tired , but no where near good enough
I said in an earlier post that our team selection smacked of complacency and so it proved.
It also proved that our squad depth is no where near good enough.
Still don’t know why Benko’s goal was not allowed in the first half.
Sadly though, BR has to carry the can for this poor show, still love him though and he’ll do right by us for sure.

Third in the league but with two games in hand over the leaders. There’s a long way to go and, once we get Europe out of the way and possibly a new player or two in January, we’ll fly.
The slow backward pass was back tonight especially 2nd half.
Get the game won before we start pissing about – the pressure we brought on ourselves and the territory we gave away trying to play out was a reckon joke.

2 points thrown away . A mixture of poor refereeing , poor play and poor decision making , some of which we saw on Sunday but got away with. Eduoard cannot keep the ball when it comes to him and Sinclair can’t wait to get rid of it. Aside from his poor penalty , Griff , like EO and SS is really struggling for form .That’s 3 big players who are a shadow of themselves. Equalled by a team of all in wrestlers , at least one of whom should have been off if we had proper referees.
Disappointing to concede so late on.

Amazed at all the managers posting on the blog, I would have thot that they would be busy with their teams tonight.
Once again we pay the price for making too many changes. The 2nd half was back to the pre-Celtic revival, sideways and backwards passing. We are lucky the huns are piss poor but Kilmarnock may be the dark horses. Has Brendan managed to beat a Stevie Clarke team yet?

The player never even went for the ball, just fan into Gamboa, think you need to watch it again, unlikely you’ll get the chance though, noticed the foul was cut from every subsequent replay.
