Celtic do not have to sell and do not want to sell. We are a well managed club with money available to fulfill strategic plans. We have recruitment plans and budget in place for this summer; we are not planning to recruit a first choice left back or spend an unexpected windfall. I also hear Kieran’s agent is relaxed with the player at Celtic and not agitating for a move. I suspect Everton have let their trusted outlets know they are interested in the player, but it has not gone beyond that stage.

The players seem honest in their play, with no simulating Neymars nor raging Ramos blootering folk.
They work hard, they play for each other & they don’t seem to have a big time charlie like, Ronaldo/Messi/Neymar getting in the way of team spirit.
They had a decent 1st half yesterday but Colombia perhaps showed them too much respect.
2nd half seemed even & ET was also 50/50 for me, with Colombia having the momentum after equalizing in added time.

Totally agree with you. I think BR will change his default formation to three central defenders, Brown in front of them, two wing backs and the other four positions flexible dependant on who we play and how we are playing. We can play 2 up front or 1 with 2 behind or be more defensive (like Zenit home) and play a diamond behind the striker.
Transfer wise I think we’ll be looking for more a wing back than full back on the right.to compete with Forrest and if KT stays Hayes will be his back up. Lustig will join our army of central defenders.
maybe Real Madrid would be interested in a exchange KT for CR ?

I did see Harry McGuire simulate a yellow card to the ref after one incident though.

We have been doing them over at youths level for years well and we have produced far better players and We rarely players overaged players etc… Against anyone. We dont need to win leagues and cups at youth level We need to produce one maybe giid quality young players every season or two

When our youth coaches think they are being judged on game results when they should be getting judged on the player graduating results – nurtured through to the first team – like (whisper it) KT, JF & CalMac.
Huge thing with youngsters is confronting & overcoming adversity – either in games or in life.
We only really develop if we are genuinely challenged. Otherwise we tend to become complacent & perform at the level required to beat the opposition we face – and no more.
Good coaches will usually find a way to challenge individual kids/players when they see some kids playing within their comfort zone & cruising.
Getting the balance right is crucial.
Sort of ..Take risks & develop son, but winning is still important, but not everything AT THIS LEVEL.
