I do take leftclicks’ point that it’s not the entirety of the support, though.

Training session, should be 3 or 4 up. We look most dangerous when the ball is played wide to Johnston and Sinclair. Izzy looks like he’s never been away and linking up well with Ntcham and Sinclair.

BTW- We should have had a pen early on when Mikey broke into the box and was given an open palm shove over the by-line. Not even a comment when it was replayed.
Some nice individual play by Izzy,Sinclair,Nt’cham and Johnston.
I prefer Bain to Gordon.Both good shotstoppers but Bain has better distribution and commands box more.
Not great team play though.
We play in reaction and are to predictable and slow paced.
Some movement and anticipation required.
Also our spacing is poor especially on the right side.
That their centre back was able to bring ball past a few players and put in a dangerous cross shows why we have to many gaps on the field.
Scott Brown is terrible…needs a rest
Very concerned that not matter who plays full back he still can’t stop crosses.
Half decent teams will punish us.

We seemed to go into a wee dwam after we scored , hopefully we have another couple of gears to go up in the second half. Good going forward although defence still gives me a bit of the heeby jeebies even against this level of opposition. Some delightfully weighted through balls from Izzy, Sinky , MJ ,LG and TR look in the mood and Olly coming into it a bit more. Leigh to get his 100th as they tire. 4-0 Celts.

We’ll have to accept that the opposition will get SOME crosses in. No defence cuts out every cross, not even the meanest Italian ones. I think Gamboa and Izzy are doing ok.
