Both full backs, Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney, got assists, as they created width to allow the central players to do their stuff.
Brendan Rodgers will hopefully highlight that the only two attempts on goal we conceded came a moment after we scored, near the end of each half. Teams notoriously lose concentration after scoring.

Tactically, BR’s decision to stick Armstrong on was inspired, again!

My only negative comment, and it’s still early days, would be that I’m not convinced Dorus’s distribution has been as good as I’d expected, but as I say, early days.
Onwards to Barca. Probably lose, however, be intrigued to see how Brendan sets up.

Walker was gutted after the third and his commentary got worse if that was possible. No charisma what so ever and very limited in his descriptions and opinions also over use of cliche’s showed him up again as a fool with a mic and a grudge.

Driving to the game today I spotted a mate. Wound the window down and gave him a holler. A wasp flew in. Very annoying and irritating. But swatted away and soon forgotten.
It was only when i was heading home after the game that I made the connection.
Sevco is like an annoying wasp. Very irritating but ultimately the best way to deal with Sevco is simply to swat it away.
