Do you like our new lightweight template? There’s a lot less green and tons more whyte. Like it or not, the whyte template will be here for a wee while, so try to enjoy it.
Ticket arrangements for our game at Ibrox next month were always going to be tasty. With rumour that Rangers were heading for administration, Celtic refused to forward their rivals tickets for the game on 28 December on credit, demanding payment in advance. Rangers found the money after a failed appeal to the better nature of the Celtic board. This proved to be a wise move as only a few weeks later Rangers were in administration leaving a trail of unpaid debts to other clubs in their wake, but an awkward situation was likely to follow with Rangers (in administration) looking to reciprocate with payment terms.
Celtic are good for the credit, but if they pay for tickets, what’s the chance Rangers will survive long enough to fulfil the fixture?
None of us are in a position to tell, but Celtic cannot sell tickets to their own supporters in the chance that Rangers will not honour them. If Rangers are still in business, I expect a busy few days leading up to the fixture as cash and tickets are transferred.
And to think we’ve listened to all the ‘Old Firm conspiracy’ theories all these years….. didn’t turn out that way after all.
Really pleased to see STV picked up on our story of last week on the potential improper registration of players and managed to get an anonymous quote from the SFA suggesting “that if conclusive evidence can be produced, the Scottish FA could launch a wider investigation into the conduct of the club”.
“Could”! This story has now been reported by several mainstream media outlets. It looks like the SFA will have to be dragged into examining this by Uefa. Embarrassingly, they are likely to conclude an inquiry into Rangers next week without reference to the 10,000lb gorilla (as No Surrender Johnston would say) in the room.
There are now serious questions of corporate governance at the association, something the chief exec was keen to avoid. If the SFA do initiate an inquiry into the multiple contract allegation, they should start by asking some of the guys who have arrived at Ibrox from continental Europe. I hear Joachim Bjorklund, a decent defender who signed his only Rangers contract in 1996, is still working in the game.

A very good morning to all of the Celtic family
one of the posts late last night alluded to the possibilities for this team that Lenny has built (and is still building) he also mentioned how galvanised the Celtic support has become.
I remember last home game last season when the whole stadium had realised the huns had already won the league at kilmarnock after 10 mins or so.
As the stadium reacted in the way only Celtic park can and began a massive party in the pride and love of following Celtic, a young teenage lad from Dublin sitting next to me (at his first game it seemed) was awe struck at the scenes of celebration!
I just said to him “wait til you see what it’s like when we win something” the look on his face was priceless! he is hooked!!!
I feel like that boy again myself, waiting for the st johnstone game like a child on christmas eve
Hail Hail
Good morning
Looks like you have to post to open up the most recent post.
Jedi Whyte rescues Darth Duffield from the ashes, and offers the ungrateful bollocks alternative employment with the birth of newco hun. The 2nd rising of Satan, is about to happen but is scuppered once again when Secret Agent Campbell (neé Ogilvie) exposes more weaknesses in the Dark Side, leading to a long overdue cleansing of the Jedi Council.
Cheers Agent Craig, Agent Campbell Agent Duffield, and in particular, Agent Dallas and Agent Peat.
We couldn’t have done it without ye all :))) Luv ya !!!!!!!!! xxx

My post from last night + comments!
“Charity Begins At Home” – Is Rangers Charity Foundation in Breach of the Law?
http://scotslawthoughts.wordpress.com/2012/02/28/charity-begins-at-home-but-is-the-rangers-charity-foundation-in-breach-of-the-law/
Morning, bhoys, especially Swiss T and Starry P and the Tobelerone Tims.
Glad to see the net is closing in on Campbell Ogilvie. Expose him and the lot comes tumbling down.
Morning all,
I like the new format on my phone, much easier to read.
Anyway, is there a minimum number of players that a team must have registered with the SPL?
Anybody else not able to get beyond page 9?
I won’t see any replies because I can’t see this mornings pages!
iPhone do maybe not happen on other devices.
Just a quick message to all those go-getters on handheld devices, next week’s lottery numbers are on page 9
Morning all from gay Paree, pleasant enough 29th Feb (15C max)
Although I am enjoying the unravelling of the tangled web, yesterday I was frustrated and then angry about the dithering of the Admins. Hopefully today they will start to decimate the playing squad. For me that will signal the first real punishment that they will have had (we didn’t need their sticking 10pts).
PS: Like the new simplified format, although some of the longer posts could stretch on for a few pages…

I’ve just had a look on my phone and beyond page 9 does seem like a bit of an issue
Cat: Maternity Leave, I hear
WG: I’m not at all surprised……
Thank you WG.

Help I can’t get to the last page Test
A good temporary solution
thebhoyfromoz on 28 February, 2012 at 21:31
I’m on an iPhone & the only way to get to Comments pages beyond 10 at the moment is to select the URL within the Menu Bar at the top of the page and manually amend the page number, e.g. change the following portion of the URL “8053&cpage=10#comments” from 10 to 11 etc.
Silver City Neil Lennon
Unfortunately, unless thebhoyfromoz’s solution was posted on page 9 or earlier, nobody using an iPhone is going to see it :-(
I can’t get beyond page 9 on my iPhone, any ideas guys?
Can anyone help – using iPhone 4 but can only get up to page 9 showing on the comments links , can’t seem to widen page or access more recent comments .
Not very good at this but never had this problem with old layout.
Cheers in advance.
Well isn’t this swanky – bet it even smells like a new car!
Silver City – neccessity is the mother of invention – well done that tim!
Glad the blog’s back – I was way too productive yesterday. Even had to venture to the Scotsman Rumour Mill! *shudders with the memory* I think Declan would be head hun-cho on there given his intelligence and debating skills would dwarf some of the hun idiots.
Hail Hail
Tombola
I keep reading that Naismith will be one of the first to be made redundant at Ibrokes.
That doesn’t stack up to me.
Surely Rangers have an insurance policy that pays the players wages in the event of a longer term injury.
The only cost to Rangers should be the excess on the policy.
Surely they can afford the premiums of such a policy?

Test
The thought had occured to to me. Too late for this post but if a podium hunter cuts and pastes it at the top of the next post, that would help.

I had a similar experience at the Motherwell game last season.
As we left after the game my 14 year old daughter said, “What would it be like when we win”. I hope to be there this season so she can see for herself.
Help this 8 page lark is driving me mad

Would that be payment protection insurance? Maybe that’s the answer, Peter Dean will get them millions back.
For the guys on iPhones who can’t get past page 9 the solution is to go and do something else. Do some work, or play with your kids perhaps.
I’m only saying this because I’m on page 18 and they won’t see it. :-)
very slick Paul, I like it.
Had to do too much work yesterday with no multiple articles posted.
