  1. Thought we were garbage today, but delighted we picked up 3 points,

somehow we need to find a way past packed defences as almost every

team is gonna set up the same against us.

See us linked again with Snodgrass,at least that would sort out our terrible

delivery from free kicks and corners.

  2. Go tell the Spartim on

Some people are desperate to make up pish about why a player isn’t playing well

Did any of you watch Larsson there were more than a few league games where he looked out of sorts but managed to score to cover his sins. Whilst OE is not in HL class a loss of form is common in players in every league in the world and in every season, give them all a break even those with less talent

  4. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Why sell anyone?

Squad is now starting to shape up with many different players getting game time.

    2 good goalies.

Lots of options defensively and in midfield.

For the first time in a long time four strikers any two of which you’d be comfortable starting games.

Only area of pitch with no depth?

    Left full back.

  5. inchture bhoy aka neil lennon on

    O. G. Rafferty I was about to post that. Never heard of him but he has plenty of caps for Uruguay. Could be a good solution if it’s true.

  6. Melbourne Mick on

Hello again all you young rebels.

Those that are still awake.. lol.

Watched Ryan at the Griff goal and seen him give a small

fist pump at his side and then a clearing tackle back in our

6 yard box, so wouldn’t read too much into the facial contours.

What about Polish Paddy’s goal? luv that attitude.

Hello again all you young rebels.

    PAPSJOE55/GENE

Best wishes, i’de be happy if we hold onto everyone.

  9. The hand of God on

I must say, although I dont know much about him, the thought is signing an Uruguayan international left back does appeal. These guys are usually very tough could be just what we need…if true.

  10. The hand of God on

Great to see Leigh back in the side and scoring yesterday…I thought after his last indiscretion his time at Celtic was up but will be delighted to be proven wrong…I think Leigh likes proving people wrong.Well done to Polish Paddy too…great determination. Always good to go into the dreaded international break with a victory.

  11. Good morning CQN from a happy Garngad, weather is dry at the moment.

2 week lockdown/circuit breaker from Monday 12 October In my opinion.

I wish we did not have as many players away on International duty, this has became a burden now.

Did I read somewhere last night that Griff has had a call up to Scotland squad??? Feckin hope not, then again he needs match fitness. Hmmm

When does window close is it Midnight tonight??

    D :)

  12. The hand of God on

Crazy results in the “Greatest league in the world ” yesterday…cant believe Wolves only beat Fulham 1-0

  13. Gene – best wishes to your wife.

Feckin ridiculous you have to wait to to 66 for our state pension.

A great incentive to work your ass off from the age of 16 and about 7 years before that doing paper/milk rounds etc.

    This feckin country agggggggghhhh

  14. The hand of God on

David 66….not sure what time, may be different in England than in Scotland. But it doesn’t close…it slams shut.

  15. The hand of God on

Villa and Spurs could both ,with a little bit of luck (or a bit more luck in Villa’s case), have scored 10 yesterday which would have been fun to watch.

  16. The hand of God on

Whilst we had a bit of a struggle ourselves yesterday “rangers” gave up several chance to Ross County…a couple of the sitter variety.

  17. The Hand – oh yes it slams shut on us and closes for Seething Gerrard’s Rankers

  18. Watched the Villa v Liverpool game. Exciting, fast and entertaining with lots of goals.

We really need to up our entertainment and play football ” The Glasgow Celtic way”. The alternative is a loss of viewers, which will be devastating as we are heamoraging circa £4m per month with no sign of fans coming back.

Cumon Celtic, we have the players and the tools.

  19. Happy Birthday to Mrs “GENE”.

    Happy Birthday to PAPAJOE55.

Griffs Headed Goal and Polish Paddy’s Stroming Goal were things of BEAUTY !

When both went in I shouted….YA BEAUTY.

    HH.

    DAVID66….

I hope your leg etc is better ?

    HH.

  20. Big Jimmy

If PP can make the same contribution to the team as Frank did I’d be ecstatic – especially if unlike Frank his teammates had some idea of what he was going to do next 😃

  21. The rubber man was the greatest chaser of lost causes, I’ve ever seen. Often made something out of nothing. Brilliant.goal by Klimala and if he’s even close to McGarvey, I’ll be happy.

  22. MELBOURNE MICK on 5TH OCTOBER 2020 6:01 AM

Hello again all you young rebels.

Whats the rumours from back home Bhoys?

    PAPSJOE55/GENE

Best wishes, i’de be happy if we hold onto everyone.

    H.H. Mick

    ………………………..

    MICK…You ask about “Rumours” ?

There is a Wicked Rumour going around that I am going to buy a round of drinks one day..I’m not having that !

I have my “Street Cred” to think aboot.

    LOL

    HH.

  23. Frank MacGarvey…

I loved the Guy when he wore the Hoops.

He did all the “Spadework” for any of his Strike partners. I think the Huns hated playing against him cos no one…including Frankie…. knew what he was going to do next ???

Many times I watched him getting booted all over the pitch…but he usually bounced back up and got on with it.

Just a pity that his Celtic career ended the way it did…When Davie Hay sold him very soon after Frank had scored THAT Brilliant Header for the winner in the 1985 Scottish Cup Final.

I think that was the very last “Touch” he had as a Celtic player ?

As for “Lost Causes”…it was Big Roy Aitken who chased after the ball ( not for the first time) down the right wing and crossed the Ball for Frankie’s diving header…MAGICAL !

I loved Davie Hay as a Celtic player, but I was angry with him when he sold Frank…although there have been several stories about Franks private life being the cause of him being let go by Celtic…and Davie Hay ?

    HH.

  24. If the Polish Paddy gets a game against the Huns…they wont relish playing against him…….Likewise The GRIFF…and French Eddy ( On his game ?).

How refreshing it was to see a Player being almost halved in two…pick himself up and carry on…NOT looking to get anyone booked/sent aff…and THUNDER the ball into the net….ESPECIALLY when its a Celtic player !

Red Walsh SHOULD have Red Carded the St Johnstone Thug.
