    SAINT STIVS

    Forrest for who – Frimpong?

    ———————

aye, why not, the wee fella will get lumps booted out of him with no pinishment to the offenders.

play james, maybe bring Frimpong on laters.

  2. Well done Celtic…finally…phew….

Play 2 strikers and a number 10. Pick a variation and stick with it. Feel for Eddie and worried something’s amiss. Playing on his won with no creativity behind.

Broonie. Brilliant. Come on and drive us to the final whistle is exactly how I would play him. Terrific.

Midfield variations a go-go. Callum and Ollie in each other’s way and too slow from the back.

Duffy – great in defence but stop with that long ball. Not your game. Get Julien back in on the RHS.

Ollie – I’m yer biggest fan but today. Jaysus H.

Thought we Greg was ok first half but we need a solution tomorrow.

We have some great talent but it still, bizarrely, feels like pre-season switching and testing formations. Get this window shut, get the nut screwed on and get a formation to feel settled about.

That bench though? – wow. Lovely. Great to see Tam and Griff back.

Hubbard from SAfrica.65 goals from 68 pens.22 consecutively.Googled that and according to that source he was the only foreign player in ‘ their’ history to score a hattrick against us.Dont know if he scored any pens. In any games v us.

Cheers mate ..imagine raving about the penalty king ffs.

  4. who knows were we were on the corrosponding weekend last year ?

Livingstone 2 Celtic 0. Christie was sent off.

we had drew 1-1 at hibs the week before,

this after a good win 2-0 against Cluj at home.

the 2nd rangers beat hamilton 5-0.

cqn had one of its fun nights with most blaming the manager.

Not been on fir a while, anyhows hard watch the day but 3 points, transfer deadline day

the morra rumours welcome,i’ll start Snodgrass!!!!!

  6. hi ghuys, excuse me for interjecting here, did i spell that right😎 the lions would have taken ten aff that mob ,and as regards the referee, we had tom tiny orange masonic bassa wharton, to put up with, as well as his sidekicks mr i hate celtic mcluskey, and i love rangers mr davidson, but we got thru it by playing the glasgow celtic way, neil luv ya to bits, but please watch some of the lions videos, no back and furrit ,just forward forward forward.,god bless the lisbon lions,H.H.

    Where does Snodgrass play?

A left sided full/wing back should be a priority.

  8. Snodgrass would be a good signing. We need more creativity and someone to take dead balls. Somebody needs to stop Ryan from repeating the same overhit mistake. Thought Turnbull did well in that regard and Griff is good too.

I’m still hoping for a LW solution tomorrow.

Interesting who the ‘outs’ Neil refers to, especially when he was adamant about keeping the squad together.

  9. Barisic is a good player for them. Their back up player (from Leciester) looks like a boxer playing a celebrity match..

I expect Stevie Geeeeeee will demand more money in the morning.

  10. BIG WAVY

To be honest, I’d shed no tears if it was Ntcham. We’ve spent a fair bit during the pandemic and he would command a decent fee.

He doesn’t impact games enough for me and shouldn’t start if everyone’s fit.

  11. Geebee1978

It would break my heart fella but with today fresh in my memory he’s massively underperforming (not alone). He has a quality, when purring, we will find hard to replace sadly.

  12. I have to say, for a typically snarling, ugly, negative, referee-supporting performance, St Johnstone looked good today…..

  13. Only 4 shots ‘on target’ for gerrards team [including their weekly penalty reward] in the whole match at home to Ross county.

Looks like they have won 2 nil.

No goal difference boost on us today.

  14. So Hun horrible bar stewards get 6 mins to score more goals we get a horrible rat that gives us 3 mins.

The fix is in big time.

    D :)

  15. Normally I watch a game like that and believe they will tire, our subs will come on and get the glory.

Not today. I couldn’t see any way we were going to get a shot on target let alone score.

Griff header was a thing of beauty, the lead up play from Ajer and El Hamed was deserving of that finish.

Klamala incredibly survived with all limbs intact from a diabolical challenge that should have been a red for multiple reasons. That he got up a spanked an absolute screamer was a testament to his physical and mental character.

I liked Turnbull. Would have taken Ntcham off before him.

Can we return to Moi out left and two strikers up front?

  16. I would sell Christie so he can go sir on a bench some where.

    Inflated ego or what.

    D :)

  17. Wee Joe,

He 4.28 for a mile last season before covid-19 stopped the season early. Hoping to break 4.20 in the 2021 track season. It’s currently cross country

  18. Six goals in Nine appearances.

Don’t give up on Odsonne folks. He’ll come good with a Griff / Klimala or Ajeti alongside him.

  19. St Tams.

Tough one fella. A 1 goal in 2 midfielder will be hard to replace.

He is driving me nuts but his play and persistence in midweek got us a winner.

A real curate’s egg is our Ryan.

    HH

  20. Eddy prefers to play in 2 , with him playing off the left hand side. That’s what we need to return to. Either Ajeti or Griffiths up front with him

  21. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

It’s not a matter of us giving up on Odsonne; going by his recent performances it looks like he’s given up on us!

  22. I would definitely let Ajer go if he is going to play left side of a 3 , nearly ballsed it up again today because he canny kick the ball with his left foot.

    Leigh Griffiths’ #Celtic record.

    Games: 233 Starts: 148 Goals: 116 Assists:

only been Celtic’s first choice striker in one full season (2015-16)

but his numbers are phenomenal, you see why Lennon keeps him

    ==================

season 15/16 Leaigh scored 31 in 34 games.

he has only scored 34 goals since then,
