  1. Don’t ken him well but from highlights etc I always saw Snoddy as a put-it-about forward with a good line in deadballs, corners and assists. For me a guy who gets us and the kinda experience we need for 10.

Still grinning for Leigh and Paddy.

  2. Thelurkintim,

At times, ensuring I was keeping up a steady 15 mph was the only excitement.

Interesting dilemma for the Sevco match on who to play upfront. They are terrified of Edouard and we should get more space especially if we win possession and break quickly

  3. OMG. Still shaking, have had a crazy day so far, went to shop for newspaper about 45 minutes before game & witnessed a guy fall of the roof and crack his head off the ground . He landed about 4 or 5 feet for me.

Amazingly, he didn’t seem badly hurt albeit he will have the sorest of heads for days.

Regarding game we were awful for 88 minutes.

Thought the only one of starting eleven to play really well was Duffy. Thought he had a great day and should have had a penalty early on.

I would also absolve Frimpong, who never stopped trying.

The subs won us the game. Playing 2 up front is a no brainer from now on.

Champions win when playing shite, today could be pivotal in our season.

That lino is jambo, decent guy in real life, didn’t notice he was on the line until that shot in the 90 minute

Absolutely right. The tackle on Klimala was an object lesson on why red cards are needed. (The referee’s verdict then added to a number of mystifying decisions.)

The way Patryk recovered to score from a difficult angle was sensational. Both goals were brilliant. A real tonic after the pedestrian fare on offer for the first 70 minutes.

  7. OT67..awesome to see you post…fuck them moaners…post to yer hearts content ;-))

  8. During the Centennial season former St Johnstone player and durty wee Hun midden fae Govan doddie when managing the calvinists said that when most teams were in the dressing room bath Celtic were still playing, it’s at least a 90 minute game. And no I didnae read that on wiki as there was no www back then just the bbc shortwave.

  9. Ntcham, one of the most talented players in Scotland, can go whenever he likes. Constantly stood beside a defender to avoid the ball. He is not interested in being here.

    The Huddle

Must have just been his mien then…

    ———-

He hates Hibs, so with the Griff scoring Im sure he wasn’t happy.

I’m trying to think if we had an offsides today??

  11. celtic mac

Indeed, after sitting through purgatory for nearly 90 mins, beelin. I could not see any difference in the tackle Turnbull got booked for and the tackle on Frimpong minutes later. Effin cheats. HH

  12. Walsh going home kicking himself that he wasn’t quick enough to blow for a foul before he saw Paddy shoot.

    Cristies face WTF

I noticed that as well. “if the wind changes , yer face will stay like that”

Dos French Eddie go off to play for the froggies? get his eye in hopefully

Good use off the bench today. It been a pressure soaked “block” of games, we have gone alright by the skin of our teeth. Normally dont like International breaks, this one we need. Bunch of real good players injured and bunch of quality guys coming back. Enjoy the break, weve earned it. HH

just pray that we get through the last day of the transfer window. Job done.

I find it ironic that so many worry about the monie lost from the Champions league, when we dont spend it anyway lol ( although we have done really well with the spending in the last few years, we have spent more than the Zombies have lost)

    peace

Glasgow is Green and White, the rest they are just… green.

  14. The best ref moment, was the 2 fouls on Frimpong, and he pulls it back for the first foul 20 yards further back

  15. Paddy K has obviously benefitted from the long sessions bulking up in the gym or he wouldn’t have ridden that horrendous challenge to get up and score with a brilliant finish.

Think he should take young Turnbull with him too – several times today he was brushed off the ball far too easily.

  16. Why the heck does Christie take free kicks and corners? I like the lad but his FK efforts are appalling.

  17. The bhoy Klimala learning well ,realises being halved in two is not a foul in Scotland ,gets on with it

and scores a beaut of a goal…God bless you son.hh

  18. i'vehadtochangemynamebacktojackiemac on

    Well done celtic.

The ‘ not awarding yellows to Celtic’s opponents’ factor was set to the max there!

  19. Lenny on Sky now. Says Griff and Klimala in his thoughts for huns game.

Says you can see the influence of Brown when he is not there. Regardless of stats.

    Expects ins and outs tomorrow.

  20. Wow..you cant argue with this

Today Neil Lennon took charge of his 50th League game since his return to Celtic, he’s won 41 of those games and drawn six, his win rate is 82%, he’s won 129 of the 150 points available and he’s averaging 2.58 points per game.

They say today’s Marathon involved running aboot the park for a couple of hours and finally getting across the line.

    They weren’t wrong…

  22. My Goodness Celtic, play to the end 🤣

Like stated by a few, what an attitude from Patryk Klimala for the 2nd goal

Celtic should be questioning the refereeing right now

How did Davidson stay on the park

And can you explain the tackle on Patryk

A yellow means the foul cannot be challenged ? Or does it ? Sevco managed to challenge the foul on the columbian which broke his leg

  23. Wonderful wholehearted play by Shane Duffy to set up Patryk Klimala for the clinching score. Young Patryk seems to have a habit of scoring from the most difficult angles. Stephen Kenny the ROI manager obviously pleased to see Shane back to his sharpest ahead of trip to Slovakia on Thursday night. lot of fouling by Saints players unpunished.

Today Turnbull will have learned that playing for Celtic is quite different to playing for Motherwell , and that other teams play differently against you . He’ll also have learned that you’re refereed differently when in a Celtic jersey.

    Give him time.

  25. NOTTHEBUS

Agreed. Ntcham has had too many opportunities to stamp his authority and make himself a regular starter. Doesn’t seem interested in taking it.

If the kind of money being quoted is accurate, I’d sell him and blood Turnbull in.

Admittedly, Turnbull didn’t have a great day today but they will come. Ntcham isn’t going to get any better for us.

  26. Worst 88 minutes I can ever remember watching Celtic. Not really surprising, when,Taylor,El Hamed,Calmac,Ntcham,Edouarde,El Yanoussi, were all dire.I hate to add our new boy in there, but he was very poor also. Those screaming for Broony to be dropped, this is what you get.Calmac wasted trying to play that role.

Griff showing what a Fox in the box is all about, and Paddys goal was brilliant.Manager got away with this,so HOPEFULLY,we won’t see this formation again.Griff has to start with Eddy against Der Hun,Ajeti,a setback to fitness at the wrong time.70 mins Griff, then Ajeti,if fit.Welcome Snodgrass if we get him.

  27. BTW is that four successive games where the opposition had 0 shots on target?

If so can we make it 5?
