Sure things don’t exist in football

724

St Mirren lost at Tynecastle in November, their fifth consecutive in the league, but since then they have lost only twice: at Celtic Park and last Saturday, when the roof fell in against Ross County.  During that run they recorded good wins against Dundee United and Motherwell.  They sit second bottom of the league but this is an incredibly tight league.  Saints are as close to bottom Dundee as they are to second top Inverness.  In straightforward terms, St Mirren are a form team.

Anyone who believes Celtic are a sure thing better think again.

Remember the days when it would be impossible to get past 8pm and still not know Montrose earlier took a point at Ibrox? Sign of the times it wasn’t really news, I suppose.

Is that true? Wonderful story if it is.’

    It’s not true.

What’s interesting is that people are so ready to believe it.

A phenomenon that has some relevance when considering what’s happening with the huns.

I feel your description of Fleming is harsh in the extreme.

    We`ll just have to disagree.

Enjoy the live tracks, the sound quality is ace, all our yesterdays.

There is a also a cracking book by the producer of the album telling the story of Recording the Album – Making Rumours – Ken Caillat with Steven Stiefel (his daughter went into Music Cobbie Caillat) its as if you are sitting in there with them.

That utter Tory, Clegg (aptly named;horrible insect) is being given the oxygen of publicity to trot out the ConDemNation hardline after spending the night with Cameron/Osborne and getting deep instruction in the Eton poshboy way of stripping the serfs of everything as only the aristo/landowning class can.

Why the rush to do down someone who performed a huge service for humanity?

Especially one of our own,Alexander Fleming?

Another son of Ayrshire,Rabbie Burns, got it in the neck the other night.

And this on top of what we were told about Martin Luther King…..

Oh,that’s right-KOJO justifiably got pelters for his stance,so that’s ok.

If the Huns has chosen to respect the memories of all those killed in war with a modicum of respect and solemnity, they might have actually begun to build something approaching……..tradition and values. They didn’t.

Instead they chose to turn it into a circus grotesque as horrible as all their other ‘celebrations’.

    Hell mend ‘em.

“The day was about both remembrance and celebration of our armed forces, both sides of the emotions were handled with dignity and class”

First time I got stitched-up by a taxi driver was in London in 89.

When, the following day,I found out the actual distance travelled-it was a Friday night, wrong train, and alcohol may have been involved-I bought an A-Z and did some homework.

TALLYBHOY will confirm it would have been a waste of time getting a train timetable……..

  15. There was me thinking that Andy Irvine, the great Scottish rugby full-back of the 70’s, had endorsed the James Connolly Bridge campaign.

Good on him, I thought, but also this seemed quite surprising.

Ten minutes later, the penny dropped and I realized it was Any Irvine ex-Planxty. (He is also Scottish, btw, or is it English?).

Clegg went o to Westminster school, one of the original nine English public schools. He won’t have required any coaching from the Old Etonians.

  21. Morning all

During a changeover in the tennis I dipped into Rangers Media as I gathered the Zombies were getting in a bit of a tizzy because that bastion on Timmydom – the British Army- has expressed a wish that the style of Remembrance Day commemorations as seen at Ibrox last November should not be repeated.

I am amazed any time I look on RM that whilst there are a fair few literary knuckle draggers there are some who are intelligent and literate. And yet they all seem to always miss the point about pretty much everything and hide behind increasingly paranoid and irrational beliefs of Timmy Conspiracies. It maybe wasn’t quite what Bertrand Russell had in mind when he wrote his essay on Intellectual Rubbish but RM is surely a downmarket version of what old Bertie had in mind
