With Ukio Bankas bankrupt there is an acceptance that Hearts, who owe the bank in the region of £15m, will go into administration shortly after the end of the season. This might not be the case.
Hearts major problem is their major asset, Tynecastle Stadium, which occupies a valuable patch of land in Edinburgh. If administrators acting on behalf of Ukio have free access to the stadium they may shut it and look to recoup their loans by selling the land. There is a possibility Hearts could be a football club without a stadium, but that does not necessarily mean they will go into administration. Without a stadium to use the club would be liquidated but there is a possibility they would be able ground-share.
Hearts tested the land value before the property crash and received an offer of £22m from a house builder.
Alternatively the bank’s administrators could use their considerable influence over how the club is managed to sell their shares or come to some other arrangement (Ticketus, anyone?). When the major creditor has this much control of the company without administration, going through the formal process could actually harm their chances of getting their money back.

Instead of focussing on all that you perceive missing from Celtic why not look at all the good things that are present and support that, whilst working away positively and effectively on areas that can be improved.
Be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.
Be the Celtic you want to see in the world by being part of a gift from God to so many, perfectly flawed so that we can use our human talents to make it something we can return with love.

With the greatest respect – I’ve already explained why I won’t be returning to Celtic Park after being scunnered oot the door by the bored / board when – in bringing in WGS – they announced that the club would be down-sizing ie: The quality of player being brought to the club – wages paid to the players would be down-sized. That’s all fair and well…but, not when they failed to mention that only two aspects of this period of austerity would remain intact – directors / CEO’s payments and bonuses and the admission price being asked of fans to – in effect – pay top-dollar for the privilege of watching inferior quality on the pitch ?
The crowds at CP started to tail-off in WGS’s 2nd season and have been dwindling since then. The exception being Neil’s 1st full season when he was up against the myth. But, asking what – £25 / £26 / £27 / £28 – for admission alone then add fuel / food etc…your talking in terms of – £40 / £50 – per game – a days wages to a lot of folk.
That lay-out in cash gets you into a game which – more often than not – can conjure up only 5 shots at goals in 90 mins. Or, you may have to leave your home at 5 am to travel to the games for a 12 0’clock kick off, and have to sit on a plastic seat for 2 hours in -zero temperatures. Oh, the fun eh ?
I’ve been on record here a few times explaining why – I gave my SB to my bro.
The way that I see it…the SB-era will bite the dust soon. There used to be a gun at the head of us and the huns by – McCann and Murray – were they would tell you – “If you don’t buy a SB – then you won’t get into the O## F### games !!!”
Then M and M would put another gun to your head by telling you that – “If you don’t renew your SB – there is an 11k waiting list !!!”
I think that the Celtic team just now has – 3 players that I would pay to see – Vic67 / Gary Hooper / James Forrest. Not grounds for splashing out money that is more needed elsewhere. imo
To conclude – The choice for me is – put a meal on the table for my family.
Or – contribute to a kitty that will be troosered by a collection of undeserving millionaires.
